Apex Tree Experts did some work on our trees this fall. They were great with communication, and whereas other companies we had bid on the job seemed disinterested or condescending, the team at Apex was thorough, considerate, and answered all our questions in a way that showed they cared about their work. On the day of service, the crew was right on time, and worked quickly. They sent about 6 guys out, and they trimmed a fruit tree and a big pine, removing branches away from our house and adding a cable support to the twin trunks. They removed a huge amount (but not TOO much) from our tree without damaging ours or our neighbor's fence (directly below the tree). One our our gutters did get a little banged up, but it wasn't bad. Price was comparable (maybe a little less) than other bids we got, but we felt the service was fantastic and we'll definitely be calling them back next year.

They were professional, understanding, patient, (I came down with covid after initial estimate. They called and I said I was sick and couldn’t talk or make an appointment and they were so understanding.)
When my appointment was made, their team was on time, careful and respectful of my property and wishes. They cleaned up and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I’d use them again if I needed to and very much recommend them.

Apex Tree Experts from Gig Harbor did a great job getting the stumps grinded around my house! I would 100% recommend to anyone. Price wasnt bad for the amount of stumps I had! Thanks Again!

We recently had a great experience with Apex Tree Experts. They trimmed two large pine trees in our backyard and removed limbs that were close to our neighbors. The team was professional, courteous and did an excellent job cleaning up after the work. We highly recommend this company!

Prompt and kept us updated to arrive and estimates

The crew who did the actual work on removing a giant Tulip poplar tree from my home did a spectacular job. The beautiful tree was situated so closely between my home and the neighbor's that I verified Apex Tree Experts (my tree removal contractor) carried insurance and they efficiently proved that they did. The tree had to go because it's roots were lifting the foundation of my home.

The work crew showed up on schedule and worked with pullies to bring down every giant limb (to avoid hitting either nearby house). I was highly impressed by how effectively the tree trimmers worked as a team and how quickly they got the job done! 5 stars for them!

The stump grinding effort also went well. I did ask for them to return to finish grinding the remaining perimeter of the stump because so much sawdust and arborist shavings had been made from the giant tree, I don't think they could tell that the stump protruded above ground level. They happily came back and finished the job, however, so another 5 stars for them!

I was not nearly as impressed with the office personnel as there was a change of scheduling on their part that caused a long wait at my inconvenience. Then - after the tree removal - I was prompted by email to make final payments (a week after I had already mailed a check in). I received subsequent emails that threatened me with late fees. Calling the company and dialoguing on the topic of payment, to make sure they had received my check (and some unsavory person had not broken into the post office mailbox to walk around with my sensitive bank account information) I then learned that the office may or may NOT have received the payment. Nobody could verify if my check was in their office or not.

While I was receiving those threatening emails, the office managers were all out on vacation for another week and nobody else could verify that my check was safe inside their business or not! (3 stars for the office/management team.)
