I highly recommend Great Northwest Installations. During the January 2024 ice storm I had a pipe burst. All the plumbers had long waiting lists. A friend recommended Great Northwest Installations. Steve was great on the phone and kept me updated about getting service. Their tech Tim was able to come even though my street was solid ice. Tim diagnosed the issue then went above and beyond by using my shovel to break up the ice in the driveway so he had a safe path into my house. He explained everything he did and gave preventative suggestions for the future. Five days without water is no fun. I wish I had called them sooner.

Great Northwest installed a new heat pump water heater for us just this past week, replacing our 23 year old existing one. They get 5 stars in EVERY area! From the onset, Prima, from the front office, made certain during the entire process we were completely informed about each and every detail. It was clear that the two installers, Tim and his "helper", Austin, were complete professionals: their promptness, their care inside our home, their installation work and their knowledge shared with us after the job was finished. We would absolutely hire them again.

I knew I wanted to replace my 15-year-old gas water heater with an electric heat pump water heater; I just didn’t realize that the old water heater would start to leak before I could calmly do the required research to accomplish this task. I went to the Electrify Now website and contacted everyone on their list of recommended installers. Great Northwest Installations had by far the most knowledge about heat pump water heaters, converting from gas to electric, the best price and the earliest appointment. I spoke with Prima on Friday; I committed on Monday and Tim installed the water heater on Tuesday morning. I’m so excited to have this technology in my house and it looks great in the garage as well. Hello I am very satisfied with the company that came out great Northwest the guys were very professional and polite. I was going to give us 4 1/2 star because the other company that came out found a leak that your company missed however, I decided to do a Five star review because on Monday, July 13, 2025 Austin came out and crawl back underneath my home and fixed the leak is very polite and professional. I highly recommend Great NW Installations!!, they installed a heat pump water heater on one occasion and we were so impressed by the knowledge and workmanship that when our main drain was clogged we called them again.
The care and concern, the workmanship, and Steve's effort to make sure we understood all aspects of the process was much appreciated. From the beginning to the end clean up process, there was no doubt they were our plumbers into the future...PLUS!!!..the price was totally fair..Highly, Highly recommended..can't say it enough!

Busted a line under the slab of my home on install. Not even 12hrs later, when water started coming up from it, flooding my garage; they said it wasn't their problem because we couldn't prove it was them. A $4500 water heater turned into an additional $5000 in repairs.

Edit because I can't respond to owner below for some reason below. They came out to check the issue with the leak and did a pressure test on my water, while I wasn't home. Told my wife the water pressure was too high and it was just a matter of time. The hose bib they tested off of was one that was plumbed in BEFORE the pressure regulator to my house. Which was easily seen from the garage. So yes, it's going to have higher pressure. The fact that the garage had a distinct hissing sound from the time they left was proof enough that they caused the issue. Not knowing any better, I thought it was just the sound of the water heater until the pools started appearing. The problem was they slammed on the water with no faucets opened. And no you never offered a discounted rate.

Just had a new tankless hot water heater installed because my old one was well used and given up on me. Had Austin come by and install a brand new one he had a good challenge ahead of him, but he tackled it beautifully, awesome gentleman very professional highly recommend these guys to anyone and everyone.

A really great experience from start to finish — Steve was extremely detailed and thorough in his overview, made himself available leading up to the actual job for questions we had, Rowen kept us in the loop throughout the planning stages, and when the time came for the actual work, Austin and Tim were extremely professional, and nice guys to boot.

Great Northwest Installation Company has the best office staff; they are very professional and caring. The technician, Austin, was amazing. He explained the ductless water heater we purchased very well and did a wonderful job installing it. After the installation, he took the time to show us how our water heater worked. Great Northwest Installation Company is the best. We are glad we called this company and had them come to our home. I highly recommend them to anyone. I would rate them a 10 and give them 100%.

Great Northwest Installations created a wonderful safe atmosphere. They were very respectful coming to our home to install a tankless water heater upgrade.

The office staff worked with our schedule coming from Battleground to Southhill Puyallup can be a bit challenging but plumber Austin was on time, worked very efficiently and provided excellent customer care.

The companies prices are more than far compared to those closer and better quality of work overall. We recommend this company!

Great Northwest Installations did a wonderful job replacing my old natural gas water heater with a new hybrid electric one. They were here on time, installed the water heater and power supply in a clean and professional way, and were very helpful in explaining the features of the new water heater to me. They were also excellent at communicating with me from start to finish. I recommend this company.

Highly recommend Great Northwest Installations. Mallerie patiently sent us estimates for all of our options. Tim switched our gas hot water heater to an electric unit and put in a new toilet. He was efficient, professional, and neat.

Our Rheem water heater had a manufacture defect and needed to be replaced (under warranty) within 2 months. Rheem sent a different plumber who was going to charge us $350 for additional items they said we needed. So I called Great NW Installations to get their opinion.

We were appreciative that Steve was able to come out on short notice so that we wouldn't have to be without hot water for long. He was so nice, thoroughly explained everything to me, and replaced our unit with no additional charges. I'm so glad we went with them!

Todd and his crew just installed a new York heat pump and furnace in our home. I studied several brands, and received four different bids to replace our system. The installation was very smooth and clean, and the new system has been performing very well.

Custom Mechanical has been in business for decades, but only have a few online reviews (all positive). Sometimes I think the companies with high review numbers, even when they are positive, are incentivizing the reviewers in some way that make those reviews unreliable. No one from this company requested that I give them a review.

From the moment I called I had a sense of professionalism from Valerie as she sought to get my AC back running. I expected to hear that due to the heat I would have to wait until the next day or later in the week. Valerie had me scheduled same day, and Ray showed up before noon. Ray was quick to diagnose and repair, with a total time of about 30 minutes. The issue was the capacitor so the cost was not bad. Great professionalism and excellent service! Highly recommend them!
