Two years ago this company replaced a porch light for me. It is on a timer and lights up the area well.
Now it is time to replace the bulb but with my arthritic hands I could not get the screws out.
I sent an email request for assistance. One of their employees came by the next day! DONE!
Now I have light in my front yard which is nice because it is getting dark quickly!
This is "above & beyond" assistance. :)

Stephen Brandeis, the owner, helped us find the best solution for a sub-meter for our rental, and saved us over $200 compared to the previous company's estimate. Brian did a great job installing it and a motion sensor light. We were very impressed with The Electric Company's quick response and work ethic. Thank you!

We used The Electric Company of Seattle for a full re-wire of our home and a panel upgrade in January 2021. Stellar group of folks who were incredibly communicative, did a tremendous job and left our home cleaner than we left it each day they were here. We had a couple of things since the install (a faulty CO detector, and a defective outlet) that they have come and replaced no problem. We will absolutely use The Electric Company of Seattle for all our electrician needs in the future.

After doing a great job upgrading my panel and service to 200 amps, I had Brian come back to install can lights in 5 rooms in my house and two sets of porch lights. He completed the work quickly, left my house tidy, and did a great job expanding the wall switches to include the new lights without damaging the walls. Overall I'm very happy with how the project turned out.

We are incredibly grateful for Electric Co of Seattle! We had an electrical emergency two days before Christmas, and they came to the rescue. Such fantastic customer service, especially from Deja, who immediately put our request to the top and sent someone over, and Brian who came out to fix the issue. Brian is extremely professional and knowledgable.
Not only did he get to the root of the issue quickly, but he was very careful and meticulous. We learned a lot in the hour he was at our home, teaching us what likely was the cause of the issue. We trusted Brian completely and will be using Electric Co of Seattle go forward for all our electrical needs. Their team was responsive, great to work with and we would highly recommend them any day!

Trent came over ahead of schedule - after first checking to make sure that that was OK - fixed the problems in 15 minutes, was friendly, and my cats both liked him!

And it was $300 after a part and tax!

We bought a house that needed a new electrical panel and some rewiring done. Brian did a flawless job with the panel, and Dan even found and fixed some false grounding that the home inspection missed. 10/10 excellent work and very friendly to boot! Deja took the time to explain everything in detail so we understood what we needed throughout the whole process. She and Stephen even helped us navigate a permitting headache with the city (it’s a long story). We will be hiring this team for any and all future electrical needs.

Excellent experience May 2024 having Nob and Tube electrical wiring removed and replaced with code standard wiring in my Wallingford home. Lovely people in this family run business with great communication and quality work throughout at a good price!

Was able to book and ask questions over email with ease and quick responsiveness. Dan came out and was very friendly, professional, and efficient. It only took him about half an hour to fix some electrical outlet issues but he knew what he was doing.
I knew the costs up front which was helpful which was an hourly rate. The only thing I would ideally change would be in the industry (not just this company) of charging partial service hours for smaller jobs much like if you take your car in that the service rate is high but depends on the duration of the work. I understand the need for a minimal hour charge though. Would hire again if needed.

Used them to install electrical in a shed. Friendly staff, showed up on time, passed inspection and completed it within the estimate. Can't ask for anything more. Thank you.

I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The scheduling was professional and prompt, the service was spot on and high quality. They arrive in a nice truck with lots of supplies, and do a quick estimate, then get right into it. I had a list of jobs saved up, which included installing new bathroom fixtures and new outlets. Everything was done just right and the area left clean and everything tested out to my satisfaction. No surprise in the bill and I felt it was a fair price.

Deja, Brian, and Dan were FANTASTIC in helping my husband and I through a difficult situation, remediating work done by a presumably-unlicensed sub-contractor when our GC ghosted us. They did an objective assessment, recommended and implemented fixes to meet code, and worked with the city to provide all necessary documentation and assurances to get our permits closed out. They even made a couple mistakes along the way, and corrected/covered costs without hesitation - sign of a truly trustworthy company. The work can feel expensive, but it is totally worth it after struggling through the poor communication and incompetence of other contractors. So thankful to have found a group with excellent communication and expertise - right in our neighborhood!

I contacted Electric Company of Seattle after another company tried to upsell me on electrical work that needed to be done to the tune of 8x more than was necessary. Stephen (the owner) called me personally and helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone and Brian came out and completed the necessary work in a few hours a couple days later. I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciated the honesty, quality work and professionalism that Electric Company of Seattle provided. Will be looking to them for all my electrical work needs going forward. Would highly recommend.

We renovated our kitchen ourselves recently and spent much time looking for an electrician to do the wiring aspects. We got several quotes from various companies but went with Electric Co of Seattle and are so pleased we did. They gave us a quote via email that was way more reasonable than other quotes, and overall communicated quickly and directly. I had several other electricians come out to do quotes in person but they kept trying to sell us things we didn't need and did not give straight answers to many questions I had. When Brian from Electric Co of Seattle arrived on the day, he was prompt, courteous, and thoroughly talked through what we wanted before beginning the work. He was efficient and detail oriented when doing our new wiring, and was patient and enthusiastic in educating us about what he was doing and the generals of caring for the electric in our home. As a newer homeowner, I am always looking for professionals who not only do great work- but are trustworthy, communicate clearly, and believe in educating the homeowner. Brian was all of those things- a wonderful human being and excellent electrician. I will definitely be calling Brian and Electric Co of Seattle for our future electrical needs! I highly recommend this company.

I cannot recommend Electric Company, and my electrician, Dan, highly enough. I was nearing the finish line for a home renovation and was two weeks away from moving in when I suddenly had to replace an electrician. The Electric Company responded immediately, had an electrician out the next business day at 7AM, and started on the project the very next day. They were able to complete the work to my plaster walls and ceilings with minimal patching necessary (a miracle), and carefully explained options along the way. They finished so fast I was able to tell aster AND paint the minor holes prior to moving in. They are electrical ninjas. Dan even pointed out a few minor things in the basement that were safety issues and he took care of them on the spot. HIGHLY recommend the team!

I am so pleased with the Electric Company of Seattle and it's employees. Scheduling an appointment with Deja for the installation of my new chandelier was easy, and I was happy with how soon it could be done. Brian, the electrician, was terrific; he was professional, yet friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was able to figure out a good way to handle an unexpected glitch (the ceiling wasn't the material I had expected.) I would highly recommend this company.

ferI've had them do work at my house 3 times in 2 years. This last job was a total replacement of all the old knob and tube wiring- my house was built in 1945- so it was a big job. Jose was my electrician and he did wonderful work. He is skilled, professional and very personable and explained everything that was done. Their office manager, Deja is very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Bryan came in and quickly banged out the job superbly well and also managed to teach me a bit along the way. 3 outlets and 4 switches in an hour, zero dillydally while on the clock.

Scheduled an appt 12/11. no call, no show. Had to contact the company and leave a message. Few hours later got a call. Rescheduled to today 12/12 and accommodated an earlier time. No call no show. Despite contacting them myself have way through the appt window.

These people were a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend them to anybody who wants actual professionals and affordability. A lot of companies out there will try to stick it to you but these guys were very fair.

I was very happy with the pricing, communication, timeliness, and workmanship for a project to install a new circuit for an induction range. Every part of the process went as discussed and everyone I talked to was friendly and eager to help. Will definitely keep Electric Company of Seattle at the top of my list for any future electrical projects!
