Bossy and waste of your time

Was a very knowledgeable and helpful phone conversation that cleared up a great deal of our questions and helped to solidly our plans for off grid solar setup. The type of service to be greatly appreciated.

From start to finish, from the first visit and proposal to the finishing touches, Kristy, Briggs, and everyone at Sun Path made this as easy and worry-free as imaginable! They took care of everything and answered all questions quickly and clearly. Highly recommend!

I have wanted to install solar for years but honestly the process seemed overwhelming. Sun Path Electric made the process incredibly easy and seamless. They were very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and overall the best to work with. I highly suggest giving them a call. You won't regret it! I wish I would have done it sooner!

The Sun Path team is awesome. They were responsive, explained the options well, and were on time and on budget. Since the install, my bills, even in the winter, are down 50% and more. Good for the planet, good for the future of your children, and good for your pocketbook!

Our company has worked with Sun Path on several projects and would highly recommend them! The owners are very knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative. Kristy and Briggs make a great team and we look forward to working with them again soon!

I used Sun Path to redo our aging electric panel and install some new GFIs and two new circuits. I am very happy with the service and completed task and the cost was reasonable. Everything was completed on time and on task even though our house had some quirks. Briggs and his crew did a fantastic job and I will definitely use them again!

I haven't had many good experiences with contractors or hiring out work, but Sunpath did an exceptional job. Good communication, well planned, competitive pricing, up front detailed proposal, kept to the schedule, clean work areas, and high quality job lead to a rare 5 star review. We went through 4 or 5 quotes from other companies total before selecting Sunpath. Inspection happened the Monday after Friday completion and we were up and running within 7 days of the start.
We are now 3 months post installation and went through our first SCL billing cycle with solar and came out way ahead even with lots of cloudy days. What would normally be a $650 bill for two months cost us only $10 for the minimum SCL hook up fee, and were credited 880kWh. This was mid March through mid May, not typically the best weather. With 63 panels, we've been generating over 3 million watt hours per month, and June should surpass that by a good margin to help us bank credits for the winter months.
Recommended to our friends and happy to recommend them to others. -
Briggs and Kristy are fantastic. We needed a complete re-wire of our home in West Seattle and they delivered with flying colors. They were able to accomodate our needs, help us think of things we didn't consider, and were respectful of our space and the needs of our family. Their staff was friendly and helpful, they were patient, and finished the job with no stress involved. We would recommend them any time to whoever needs any type of electrical work or solar panel work done.

Thanks to all the folks at Sun Path Electric! From first contact to installation and instructions, our experience has been stellar. Kristy, Briggs, and their team went above and beyond every step of the way. Kind, helpful, and knowledgable, they guided us through the process with patience and timely communication. We love their commitment to their work and their expertise in all things solar. Our system is up and running and we are glad to be doing our part to reduce energy consumption. We couldn’t have done it without the fine folks at Sun Path Electric!

We had SunPath rewire our 120 yo house and install solar panels. They were very flexible when we had to reschedule part of the solar install due to some roof issues.
They were very creative in solving a lot of the details of accessing ancient wire in the house without causing too much damage. We've had no issues with our wiring since they finished. -
We highly recommend Sun Path Electric. Everyone involved was great - from the initial contact through the whole installation done by Joe, Bryn and Joey. Also highly recommend reading their website - it gives you a very good idea about the company’s philosophy and all the people working there.
The work was done on time and the price was very competitive compared to the two other quotes we had gotten.
It is amazing how well solar panels work, even on less sunny days. -
I've worked with Sun Path Electric twice. They installed solar panels on my church last year and on my house this year. Both times they had to navigate hurdles with city regulations. Nothing was too much trouble! At my home, they had an ornery Home Owners' Association to deal with as well, with a long list of requirements, some of which they hadn't encountered anywhere else. They were unfailingly gracious and persistent. And the workmanship is outstanding. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Sun Path is great to work with! I've used them on multiple projects. Briggs is very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and consultative during the entire process. He an expert at his craft and a pleasure to work with. Kristy is wonderful as well. I will hire Sun Path again to complete my clients solar projects and electrical needs. Choose Sun Path- you'll be happy. - Barry ( HD Construction Services)

This review is going to be pretty boring - a lot like the others. I worked with 6-7 other contractors before installing solar on our garage. SPE was not only the most responsive to my inquiries and questions, but they also came in at the best overall price. They were patient and had a lot of practical ideas for solving the particular challenges of our install. Both the office team and the installation team are professional, responsive and do excellent work. Its not often that the contractor you feel the most comfortable with is also the best price and was able to install the soonest! I would recommend getting several bids, but make sure SPE is one of them - great local company who clearly takes pride in their work.

Sun Path Electric did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. They have very competitive pricing. They walked me through all the incentives and paperwork from the loan to incentives. They finished faster than anticipated. They genuinely care about the work they do and they're honest, reliable, trustworthy. The inspector commented on the high quality workmanship. I had no idea that solar could perform this well or be this profitable in such a rainy area. Had I known I'd have done this a long time ago.

The team at Sunpath was reliable, efficient, and easy to work with from start to finish of our project. They designed and installed a fairly large sized rooftop solar and accompanying battery system at our home. Their head installer was very insightful about how to think about system capacity, cell efficiency, various optimizer/inverter technologies, and what to expect long-term in terms of maintenance and payback. They accommodated a request for a particular cell manufacturer. Their installation process on site was smooth - arrived on time, left the work area neat, and finished the overall project on-time. Finally, they made the system look good, running conduits through the attic and painting exterior pipes to match the siding, without prompting. I would work with them again and recommend them to my friends.

An honest company is one that can walk beside you through months of evaluation, countless emails back and forth, number crunching, family meetings, and plan revisions and then graciously receive the news that the budget for the project isn't going to be there. (The final price for our install, and the reason our project become untenable, included components that were needing to be purchased and installed through a third-party.) I can't say enough about how working with Kristy and Briggs was an exceptional experience. If you are contemplating solar I can't imagine there is a better experience to be had than by working with Sun Path.

We are totally delighted with our experience with Sun Path Electric. They were highly responsive to our request for a bid but never pressured us to buy before we were ready. Sun Path is a young company, so before becoming one of their first customers, I checked references. The references confirmed that owner Briggs Nieman has many years of experience doing solar installations as well conventional electrical work. One architect call Briggs, his “go-to guy for anything solar.”
Sun Path Electric is in the solar business for all the right reasons, and their integrity and commitment to building a sustainable future for our communities is evident in how they do business. They’ve earned my highest recommendation. -
I hadn't imagined going solar would be so easy. With Sun Path Electric, the process was smooth from start to finish - from figuring out the financing, to understanding our different array options, to getting set up with all the fantastic incentive programs, and to setting up our production monitoring app (we're obsessed with the mobile app!). The folks at Sun Path Electric did a great job with the installation and were professional, easy to coordinate with, and friendly! On top of all that, I love that Sun Path Electric not only supports climate action directly through its business, but also by funding nonprofits focused on climate justice. Thank you Sun Path Electric for the great experience and for truly caring about environmental stewardship!
