Home Services reviews in Shoreline, Washington

I love coming here and visit quite often. Plants are reasonably price, and there’s always a good selection.
Staff is always so nice, and they always have an appropriate amount of staff to help or check people out.
However, anything here that’s not a plant is drastically over priced.
One gallon of a specific liquid fertilizer at any other store is $55, but here it’s $85.
The pruning sheers I wanted? At other stores they’re $60, but here they’re $90.
That’s not just a little markup, that’s price gouging. And no price matching.
But anyways, I’ll just stick to buying plants here. And will, unfortunately, visit other stores for the rest of my gardening needs. -
Wonderful local nursery! Large selection of healthy plants, for indoors and outdoors, tons of natives and also imports that area high performers locally. Great selection of vegetable starts, seeds, and fruits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
They participate in the Lynnwood Free Trees program too. :-)
This is the only place in town that was willing to special order a 50lb bag of humic acid for me - that stuff is epic for indoor growing, it solves nutrient balance issues like nothing else. It's like putting concentrated essence of happy outdoor soil on my indoor plants, only without any smell or the bugs. ;-) -
Good experience, friendly staff lots of variety of indoor and outdoor plants.

Love this place. Really pleasant staff and great selection of plants and plant related goods. Also the cute little cafe gives it a 5star in my opinion!

I came in to here today and had to write a review to say THANK YOU because while lots of the reviews here will mention that everyone is super helpful (they are!) and the selection and quality is fantastic (it is!) and the site is well maintained and inviting (absolutely!) it was the cashier that checked me out that made my whole week. I have two young children, my 5 year old is currently being evaluated for autism and can be a lot to handle (especially in public places) and I was getting a bit overwhelmed trying to pay for my plants and keep him from running off but the woman who rang me up was so patient and kind and at the end she said “I don’t know if you’re told this enough, but you’re doing a great job” and honestly, that meant the world to me. I cried when I got to my car. It can be so hard and I feel like I was seen and that comment made me feel 1000 times better. I wish I remembered your name but seriously, thank you, I needed to hear that 😭♥️

I shop there fairly often, both for my business and personally. They have a good retail nursery selection and helpful staff. Their special events, such as the Dahlia Sale, are fun and educational.

Fantastic selection, wonderful staff. You can find everything you need here from novelty cards and gifts, to exquisitely cared for house plants and pots, to native outdoor plants and trees, and far far beyond! Please consider giving Sky your hard earned dollars over Home Depot and Lowe’s this spring season!

Place is huge.
Their pot selection was amazing. We went to three places before Sky. Their pot sizes were significantly more diverse. (Styles too, we specially were looking for large terracotta.) -
Wonderful selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, and more. Plus super friendly and helpful staff.
They also offer delivery and curbside pickup. -
I had an amazing trip to Sky Nursery, per usual.
It's a Saturday in May, so that means it was all zoo here today. To prepare for my journey, I started it at the cafe with an iced chai and lemon coconut coffee cake, which was delicious.
The sugar keyed me up to make my way through the store and pick up some plants. I was able to exercise some self control, but it was exceptionally difficult. Lots of herbs and veggies plants right now - the check out line wrapped to the cafe! -
I always love my experience at Sky Nursery. It's very open and spacious compared to a lot of other nurseries (with the exception of the indoor plant room but they limit occupancy there for everyone's safety). The prices are great and they have a pretty solid selection of indoor plants. I don't ever shop for outdoor plants but they're outdoor plant options seem good, too. Check them out if you haven't already!

Disappointed experience. Cashier with the baseball cap and bad attitude rang me up for a few items and 5 clearance plants, and despite me pointing out that they were clearanced during the transaction, she rang them up at full price. it wasn’t until i got to the car and loaded them all that i noticed the mistake. Luckily another cashier was able to fix it, but i would have been out 50 dollars if i hadn’t double checked my receipt.

We went there looking for a trellis and some herbs. There was a large selection of carrying styles and we were able to find one relatively easily. The only downside is many of the plants looked root bound and had the roots coming out the bottom of the pots.

I’ve gone to sky nursery for about a year now and have bought my blueberry, raspberry and all my perennials there. My husband gets the military discount and he had been out of town while I had shopped a few times at the nursery. The cashier informed me that I can just bring a copy of his ID in which I finally did. The cashiers and managers gave me such a hard time with this it was pouring customer service. Finally they told me that I need to have him present so I left and my husband and I showed up together and he showed them the proof of the military. Then the gal starts going down through the receipts (I had 2 of them) and only giving me the discount on the full price items. Both receipts were a totally of $200.
They need to advertise there military discount different if this is the case. Any other time I’ve been in there I’ve gotten the 10% off the total regardless of the sale items. The whole point of this long review is the attitudes I received regarding this military discount. It was VERY disappointing. Won’t be doing any business here again. -
Sky Nursery has everything you need to get your flowers looking amazing. Or to just even buy flowers or plants.
Plenty of parking and amazing variety. It can get busy and the checkout line can get SUPER long but they move through the line fast.
Staff is also super knowledgeable! -
Sky is one of my family's favorite places to hang out. Whether it's just to get something from the cafe and wander through the greenhouse, picking out Christmas ornaments - an annual tradition - or finding something to brighten our yard.

Gorgeous and large nursery with anything from all different kinds of flowers and herbs to various kinds of gardening.
-
Fantastic nursery, with a great selection, a little cafe, and terrific friendly service. Can't wait to go again!
-
Great quality plants and decorations in a very well organized warehouse. It's a little expensive but has a HUGE variety. We got these on the sale cart for $3.50 each for our bunny!
-
While it was busy, it was easy to social distance, and it was well organized. I found plenty of unique vegetable starts, and a few houseplants I was not planning on getting (but did). Great selection and healthy plants.

The manager here is unprofessional.I didn't know she was helping another customer ( because the woman she was talking to seemed to work there) and I politely asked 'Excuse me, i just have a quick question...." to which she responded with a glare and a sarcastic...'Can't you see I'm talking to someone!!!!' As a small business owner myself, I think the correct answer would have been a friendly 'I'll be with you in a moment, after I finish up with this customer'
Being nice is free, after all, and for the prices I'm paying to shop there, I would expect better customer service.
