We recently purchased a newly constructed home in Greenacres, Washington and began my search for a company to spray a post- emergent on my yet to be landscaped back yard prior to moving in. I contacted 2 full service companies requesting an estimate for the desired service. One of the companies is Pacific Lawn and Pest. I received a call from Jessica Mascol who took down my information and said that I would receive a quote very soon. Jessica was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and answered my questions. Within a short period of time I received my quote and was very pleased with the quoted price. Due to my interaction with Jessica and her efficiency, I chose to go with Pacific Lawn & Pest even before I received the other quote. I felt very comfortable with my decision after reading other customer reviews. Thank you Jessica for meeting my needs and making my decision so easy.

This lawn care company is fantastic! They’re reliable, professional, and really know how to make a yard look its best. I especially recommend asking for Justin! He goes above and beyond, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality that’s hard to find. We just moved into our new home and contracted Pacific Lawn and Pest. They came out within the week and performed our first lawn service. These guys are professional and delivered a very high quality service. Not to mention, they brought a three person crew and knocked our lawn out in no time.

To Josh(owner) thank you for your response to my review. I definitely respect the fact you go through and respond to all reviews of your company.
Yes, I acknowledge and am very appreciative of the refund you have provided. I also accept the roll I played in this whole situation, by not being diligent in opening every email.
I do want to point out that I never received text communications, I did receive an email asking if I wanted to opt into texts, which I never did.
My struggle is the communication about the annual part of your services when scheduling, maybe you do train your employees to make customers aware. But I don't remember once anyone saying "by the way this is annual service, are you okay with that?" "Do you want annual service or one time service?" And none of the emails I received after scheduling my service said I'd been registered for an annual service. Maybe it's due to the fact it was my first time being in house and managing the maintenance of a home that I didn't understand that setting up a customer account is the same thing as annual service.
Just seems like a lack of communication/clarity on the front end of it all. I know in your response you stated I'd been made aware, if you can show me where exactly I missed it, I'd be more than happy to delete this review.

*Warning - Annual Billing/services without transparency upfront*
I had weed services around this time last year, all my dealings with them for scheduling/billing was over the phone. Overall everyone was polite and easy to work with even when the weed treatment took 2-3x of applications to be effective. No complaints at this point.
Over the past year I have received MANY spammy type emails from them in regards to other services they offer or general information. Since I haven't lived in the house I received the weed treatment at for the last 7mths I was just ignoring the emails. Until I got one that stated I had an invoice!!! They charged me for an annual weed service. In a couple of the emails they did give me a chance to cancel. So my error was not investigating the emails and cancelling.
I called them asking for a refund, which they are doing, but the funny thing is they can't just direct deposit a refund, I have to be mailed a check. So my refund is pending at this point. The staff member that I spoke with about the refund seemed indifferent and didn't seem to care about my negative experience either or lack of transparency on their part.
So just a heads up to any new customers, they won't tell/ask you if you want annual service when you first request a service, they won't email you documents of terms of service. If the do have them they might be on the customer portal which I didn't have access to from the start and could never get the login to work. So be very clear on what you want and what you receive.

This is my first negative google review and it feels strange among all the other positive reviews.

I contacted this company to have our native area (outside our lawn and rock bed) sprayed for noxious weeds. At first they seemed very competent and helpful. I ended up speaking to the manager because the front desk lady wasn’t sure exactly what I needed to have done. However, when the guy came to spray he was under the impression he was spraying our lawn for weeds and said he didn’t have the right weed killer mixed. He also mentioned that our weeds were too long but when I asked if we should cut them for next time, he told me no that it was just for his convenience. He used our water to fill his other large tank and mix a different solution. About 5 minutes later I got a text saying he was having equipment malfunction.

Next day I call back to reschedule and was very respectful. I understand mistakes happen, everybody is human. The manager, Jeremy, just happened to answer the phone. I explained the confusion and he ASSURED me that next time they would be ready. And he was putting specific notes in the system.

A different guy shows up this time and says he thought he was spraying our lawn and so has the wrong spray mixed. Also, tells us that he can’t do it because the weeds are too long (I thought broad leaf weed killer was absorbed by leaves?). No consistency in their messaging.

I call the company again and ask to speak to Jeremy, the manager, since he was the one I spoke to last time. I left a message and never got a call back.

It really seems like there is a huge communication disconnect between the office and the guys that do the work. And pretty lousy to never get a call back. Maybe this company is good for very simple lawn care, but I absolutely wouldn’t recommend.

Got my lawn done today, Tristan did an absolutely amazing job on it! I recommend this company to everyone

Trust Pacific Lawn & Pest with your lawn care needs. I never realized the difficulties I was having keeping my lawn pristine was due to the grubs and other insects that Josh was able to identify and treat for me.

I selected this locally owned business for my lawn issues. I’ve observed some of the big companies and was not impressed by how fast they go thru my neighbors lawns. Jake came out and explained all the questions I had which made me feel like I made a good choice . Jake was very thorough with all that he did. I couldn’t be happier at this point. I will follow up in a few months of how they are taking care of my issues.

The staff that arrive for lawn service have been excellent to work with and they clearly have a passion for their work in how they explain in detail what task is going to be completed. I just had my first round of services done. Including the mowing and fertilization. As somebody who operates in the pest control industry, I was not comfortable taking care of my own lawn. This company has done an amazing job at explaining the process, my immediate concern was addressed, and we have a game plan to turn my lawn around. Very fair pricing and very friendly people. Highly recommend.

I have used Pacific Lawn and Pest for my mowing for the last two years. They will tell you I’m picky but I love an evenly cut lawn. I am extremely pleased with their work. They make a straight edge with the weed whacker. I’m also using them for fertilizing and keeping weeds out of my flower beds. I’m extremely impressed. The workers are very respectful and fun to talk to. I have used several services in the last few years and highly recommend them.

A young but very professional 2-man crew (Andrew and Justin) serviced my yard last week. They did a fantastic job, especially considering the fact I ignored my lawn for most of last year. They were both hard working and very personable. Highly recommend this company.
