Outdoor Cedar Structures is a wonderful contractor, both in their skill level and in their customer service. BJ and his crew stood out from other contractors we interviewed (and have hired before), because they actively listen to their client, follow codes and manufacturer requirements, and complete all work in a professional and timely manner. When we started our deck teardown and rebuild, the contractor we initially hired, let his licensing and insurance lapse without letting us know. Part way through our project we found out, we chose to end our contract, and search for another contractor. We interviewed nearly a dozen contractors and were surprised both in the varied skillsets, knowledge of building codes/requirements, focus on the customer, and communication. So, we were absolutely thrilled to find BJ and Outdoor Cedar Structures.

Many contractors were hesitant to pick up a job that was “in progress,” but Outdoor Cedar Structures stepped in and saved the day. They took time to fix errors that the previous contractor left behind and to really work with us to find great solutions for every issue we encountered. Our deck was permitted and BJ and his crew followed the code to the letter. They happily worked with the County inspector. We had many compliments during our final inspection, which can be attributed to the exceptional work that Outdoor Cedar Structures completed.

Working with Outdoor Cedar Structures was a very positive experience. From BJ’s kind question of, “What are you thinking?” as I looked over progress each day to his friendly and competent crew -- we knew that they cared about our project. He was always responsive to our questions and up for discussing everything. The finished project exceeded our expectations, our deck and railing are beautiful, the whole structure is built extremely well, they cleaned up nicely, and we are thrilled with the results. We are so thankful to BJ and the entire Outdoor Cedar Structures crew.

Outdoor Cedar Structures LLC provided a combination of metal and cedar fencing for our property that completed a comprehensive landscaping project. Their attention to detail, professional and polite crews and willingness to work hard despite the challenging weather that ranged from 100+ degree temps to below freezing with snow has our enthusiastic approval. We had a rock fence fall down after only holding up for a year after a previous company put it up. Out of the 5 companies I called, BJ was the only one who called me back promptly, gave me a bid, and was able to start work within the week. Eric and Erica did a fantastic job and am relieved it was done right this time. It was all done in a timely manner and at the price agreed upon up front. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to work with them again.

Had them build two projects so far and turned out amazing both times! First project was a Pergola and second project was a wall for the pergola. Outdoor cedar structures built the most amazing deck with a covered overhang for shade for my mother. I was there many days they were working as my mom watches my kids. The staff was so friendly and it was so fun to watch the process. The end result of the deck was incredible. It's been such a blessing to be able to enjoy each other's company and watch the kids play outdoors while the adults sit in the shade.
