while it's been a bit since Rescue Restoration literally rescued us, I'm finally getting around to singing their praises.

we came home to our laundry room flooding. we quickly called RR (the one place our friends kept pointing us to for an emergency like this) and thankfully they were able to send someone within hours to help us figure out what happened. it was a relatively easy fix (washer was leaking due to old connections), but it still made a mess.

Bob and his assistant got everything cleaned up, demo'ed the flooring and made sure things were set up for drying. in the next couple of days, we had steady communication with Robin to figure out next steps. we didn't end up involving insurance, but Robin was ready to get them included for us if need be.

in the end, the value of our experience far exceeded the bill. the attention to detail, the expediency with which they were on site and the sheer volume of knowledge Bob, Robin & their team have in their little finger created an environment of calm and competency.

We had an excellent experience having Rescue Restoration fix the extensive storm related damage of our porch and carport. I appreciated their integrity at every turn, as well as their excellent work. They cleaned up each day (very important to me) and completed the project as they had promised. We highly recommend Rescue Restoration to anyone who wants top quality work done on their home!

These guys are the best at what they do. Their attention to detail and promptness in dealing with emergency situations is second to none. When it comes to rebuilding damaged area, they have a strong knowledge of building systems from framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, air sealing, and mold remediation. Rescue-Restoration Spokane finished restoring our basement to a totally brand new condition today, following flood damage over the holidays. Bob and Robin are wonderful people to work with and their workmanship is amazing!

Rescue Restoration swooped in and saved the day for us after our basement flooded and the con-artists known as Servpro "completed" dry out and demolition. We told Servpro never to return, and invited Rescue Restoration in to pick up the ball. They found that Servpro actually completed neither the dry out OR demo properly, then proceeded to make everything right as rain in a very timely manner.

All facets of the deal and work couldn't have been more professionally handled - their communication and work is absolutely first rate. The owners, Bob and Robin, are some of the nicest folks one could hope to work with, and Tom, the repairman, did a fantastic job on the re-construction. Their quote was very reasonable, and I know that Bob went out of his way to save us as much possible without sacrificing quality.

My wife and I wouldn't even dream of calling anyone else for a restoration job in the future. I'll be eternally kicking myself for calling Servpro first (I did just because they are a huge name in that line of work). Make these guys your first call when disaster strikes and you'll be in very good hands.

They responded quickly to initial calls and quickly diagnosed the cause of the problem, especially in the most recent issue. Their employees (Maks and Doug) are multi-skilled, professional, and friendly. Bob and Robin, owners, contacted me frequently with price quotes, insurance help, and reassurance that my issues could be resolved, all very much needed in the time of stress for home damage issues. Their prices were fair, the quality of their restoration superb, and the work was completed as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. They are a quality company.

Bob with Rescue restoration was an absolute delight to have in our home. His work was thorough and clean. And at the end of the day he made sure I was only paying for what I needed to. We came home from a vacation to a sewer backup flood! We called Rescue Restoration and they were there within the hour. They immediately went to work to make sure we were SAFE from the many possibilities:}. Robin put a plan in motion to restore the three rooms involved, always confirming plans and schedules. Doug, who did most of the reconstruction, is the kindest, most skilled and knowledgeable person you could ask for!
Bob had my back with the insurance adjuster and to answer all my questions! The job is beautifully and meticulously well done! This amazing group took a mess and make it into a fun time! (country music and all) Also did a GREAT job with our budget!! Thank you all!!

I had water damage in my kitchen and could not even find a contractor willing to work on it. A colleague recommended Bob and Robin with Rescue Restoration who absolutely saved me. They are uncommonly honest and kind humans who communicate well with the customer to navigate the maze of restoring your home, there are many choices that must be made. They have amazing craftmanship; all my new paint and trim matches the originals perfectly. Bob considers different approaches and recommends the least invasive/expensive to still get the job done right. They take care and minimize the mess and dust. Their secret sauce is competence and perseverance to coordinate with the insurance companies to justify the claim, and also to know the exacting process for testing and certifying remediation. In my case the final bill was exactly the estimate. They have an extensive network of quality subs who also did good work. Whenever I have a spill or issue with my house, Bob and Robin are my very first call!

I cannot say enough great things about Bob, Robin and the team at Rescue Restoration. We had an upstairs bathroom flood, into the furnace vents and down into the basement. We just moved into the house this summer and have been trying to make the house a home and this did not help. At the recommendation of a trusted source, we reached out to a few restoration companies. Robin called back in less than a day and Bob came out soon after to look at the damage. From that first phone call with Robin, we felt very comfortable with hiring RR Inc to do our restoration work. Their communication is immediate and clear, they always contacted us in advance on when their crew would be coming by to work. Every member of their crew is polite and easy to work with, but most importantly, they truly know their trade. The work was done quickly, and to perfection. Bob personally made sure we were happy with ALL of the work, even if it was done by a sub-contractor. On top of all of the handy work, Robin helped us find carpet, paint, and laminate flooring that we loved and was w/ in our budget. If you’re looking for a contractor who treats your home insurance claim like a ten-year retirement hobby, Bob is your man. At 71, he isn't just 'old school'—he’s operating on a schedule dictated by the Gunsmoke rerun lineup.

Hiring Rescue Restoration isn't a renovation; it’s a lifestyle change. Expect him to be there so long you’ll basically have a new grandfather who never leaves. He’s a decent mechanic, but his carpentry operates on a geological timescale. He’ll take weeks to pull up a scrap of carpet, then spend three days obsessively folding the old plastic wrap and re-bagging the trash like it’s a family heirloom. I’ve seen more urgency from a turtle in a school zone.

Beyond the glacial pace, the 'inspections' are a joke. I watched him miss glaring mold and airflow issues at an apartment on the South Hill because he couldn't be bothered to check if the bathroom fans were actually pulling air. When the owners called him out on it, he got defensive. Apparently, making sure a 50 CFM fan works is too much to ask when you’re busy spending four days painting a single basement lid.

He recently did a job for a local judge that went so sideways it’s a miracle he isn't in a deposition, but he probably wouldn’t make it to the courthouse until the next decade anyway. If you want to actually live in your house again this century—and you want it to be mold-free—find someone who doesn't treat a ten-minute task like a multi-generational archaeological dig.

Bob, calling this 'lies' while you’re currently in your third week of re-bagging trash is a bold move. The only 'standard' I couldn't meet was watching a contractor struggle to identify a primary load-bearing member on a job site.

I didn't 'quit'; I performed an emergency exit from a situation that has clearly become a geriatric decline. You talk about 'standards,' but I watched you stare at a structural framing plan like it was written in code—completely unable to identify where the point loads and bearing headers were specified. When a subcontractor has to explain load path continuity to the GC because they can’t decipher a basic architectural schedule, it isn’t an employment issue—it’s a public safety issue.

I’m sorry I couldn't meet the 'standard' of watching you obsessively fold plastic wrap while the project moved at a geological pace. You are a liability to the structural integrity of your clients' homes. Good luck with the South Hill job; maybe try turning the fans on this time to see if they move air, though at this point, I’m not sure you’d even recognize a mechanical specification if it was handed to you.
