Pest Control reviews in Spokane, Washington

PHS was the only team willing to do whatever it took to get our clover mite issue under control. They tried different products and techniques to make sure it was handled and were the only (of 4 different pest control companies who attempted) to be able to get rid of them. Highly recommend Greg and his team for all pest control needs!

PHS is my #1 recommendation for lawn care and pest control. Greg has been in this business for a very long time and he knows what he’s doing. We just had someone from PHS out to do a spider spray this morning and I was so impressed by how thorough and careful they were in the job they were doing. 5 star service!

Brian was very polite. I asked him a few questions. He answered them.
He explained what he was doing. -
We have been with PHS Weed & Pest since their inception and have been exceptionally happy with their service, their communication, and their incredibly fair pricing.
We use PHS for both their lawn and pest control and are always more than satisfied with the yearly results of our lawn and spider control for the house. I happily recommend their services to everyone! -
DO NOT USE PLANT HEALTH SOLUTIONS & PEST CONTROL!!! Since posting this I filed a complaint with the BBB. This is the reply I just received:
"Thank you for contacting your Better Business Bureau. "The complaint was closed as “unresolved” as the business failed to provide a subsequent response after several requests were made to do so. The complaint will remain published on the business profile for a three-year reporting period."
He ignored them just like he ignores me.
"Licensed and Insured" means nothing if the owner and his insurance company choose to ignore you!!
Sadly what could have been resolved easily is now going to have to go to Small Claims Court.
DO NOT USE PLANT HEALTH SOLUTIONS & PEST CONTROL!!!
I hired PHS for weed control, fertilization and pest control. The first year was great. I praised and recommended them to several people. Last year turned into a nightmare. The great tech he had the year before had quit and the new tech caused considerable damage to my Hibiscus, Korean Spice Viburnum, Boston Ivy, Blue Rug Juniper. The tech sprayed the Hibiscus just as they were coming up but some survived. A tech sprayed them again as they were getting ready to bloom. The tech first lied about spraying them the second time abut finally confessed he had. The owner admitted his tech had sprayed the Hibiscus and acknowledged other spray damage. He was going to take care of it in the Spring when we could see what was permanent damage and what wasn't He has since reneged on that promise. I am sorry the owner did not make the effort to work this out like he said he would. I am even sorrier I paid for this mess.
I spent $150.00 for an inspection and report from an ASCA Arborists last Fall. I took samples to both NW SEED & PET and the Spokane County Master Gardners WSU Extension and they came to the same conclusion Round-Up or like product which is used for weed control. Professional's that came to my house explained particle drift and vapor drift, high temperatures or even a slight breeze. Vapor drift is when a pesticide volatilizes or evaporates into the atmosphere and moves off site and damages non-target plants. There is a pattern of damaged healthy plants right next to where he sprayed for weeds. The spray caused the damage. He did not get experts or even take samples for testing. He had every opportunity to do this. I gave him permission to take samples but he chose not to. He removed a lot of dead debris from the Junipers and the dead Hibiscus Stalks last Summer right when it was all happening. That was his perfect chance to get expert opinions or testing. He hauled hauled away a lot of dead samples.
His suggestion for replacing plants and covering dead spots did not make sense. Since neither of us knew the best solution to make this look better I suggested we hire an expert to provide us with the best solution. I had reported it to my insurance and they said the damage is not covered under my homeowners but his insurance should cover it. I asked him if he was licensed, bonded and insured. He said yes but has refused to give me any of that information. That is when his cooperation ended.
He now trying to blame the damage junipers on bugs or disease.
One of the reasons we used the Juniper is because it is resistant to bugs or disease
“the Spruce” author David Beaulieu:
Common Pests and Plant Diseases:
“Blue rug juniper is not bothered by serious insect or disease problems.”
The pictures are just a small example of damage that was done. Concrete retaining wall shows before/after pictures of Boston Ivy. Korean Spice Viburnum red/green bush one sprayed the other one not. Healthy Hibiscus and dead Hibiscus after he sprayed them. Crawling Rug Juniper sprayed or caught in drift. -
We have been on the PHS organic lawn fertilizer plan for over a year now and are lawn continues to look amazing. No clover, dandelions, or weeds, just green grass. We are very happy. (here's a photo of our backyard this morning at sunrise)

I have had PHS come to my home for a year now for pest control. At my old location they got rid of the problem very quickly. I moved, and same thing. The problem in my flower beds has been quickly addressed! They are fast responders and Greg will take special care to get to the bottom of the issue quickly! I very highly recommend this company!!

PHS came recommended by Heindl Tree Care. Greg S. came to our home and provided excellent knowledge and care about our trees, grass, shrubs etc. and we received the best service. He provided knowledge without a charge. We will be reaching out this fall for preventative treatment. Thanks so much! Carrie

Andrew was amazing, we got to talking about our previous jobs and how he came to where he is and how much he enjoys what he does and now get to spend more time with his 1yo daughter! He told me a lot about bees/wasps and mosquitoes, he's a huge asset to your company! Don't lose him!

Chris is so professional, polite and wonderful to work with. He makes us feel comfortable in our home even amongst our chaos (kids, pets, and the mess of day to day life). He treats us like family and we love that. We will always stay with Eden Advanced. The CO is a stand up gentleman and good man who cares about his staff and his customers. Thank you for taking good care of our pest control needs! Please take good care of Chris. Give him a bonus, HE ROCKS!

We first called Eden when we had a mouse in the house. They are quick, efficient, send the same person out, Josh, who knows his clients by name. Quickly got rid of my mice and haven't seen a single spider or ant near my house. I moved to a new home and they came out within the week, set up bait traps and continued excellent service. Thanks Josh for all you do. If all the workers are as good as you then this is the best pest control!
-
Joshua is fantastic! Always timely, thorough, and friendly. Takes the time to explain any treatments or things he sees around my house, and I really appreciate his insights.

Happy to have finally found a company who truly knows their field of expertise. I appreciate the dedicated time Josh has taken on our complicated case. He is patient and knowledgeable.

Communication is clear, staff super friendly. Wyatt let me know what he would be doing. I’ve owned my home for 10 years and never used pest control but when these tree bugs got excessive on my house (outside) they came and treated and it took care of them very quickly. It also reduced the amount of spiders I see inside too. Thank you!

It is always a pleasure to work with Forest, Chris, and Josh. The team at Eden is very professional and will get services to you right away. They make sure no steps are skipped and ensure you understand the process all the way through the end. They're very communicative and friendly. I highly recommend Eden Prest Control.

They were very responsive and did a great job with spraying outside of my home. We were doing work under our front porch and wanted it sprayed prior to doing work. The catch is that when I paid the bill ($216.91) it was tied to an annual contract. I did not catch that part. When my credit card was hit the first month ($38.15), I didn't catch it either. It was when they wanted to schedule an appointment to spray my home again that I realized something was off. In order to cancel, I had to pay off the contract ($183.12). No one ever told me I was signing up for an annual contract. But they did state it on the original invoice. Pay close attention to whatever paperwork they send you and you'll probably be fine.

Troy is fabulous! He is keeping us rodent free 🙌

Troy was wonderful!! I had sleeping kiddos this morning when he arrived, and he was so polite and quiet as not not rile up my crazy dogs. Got everything checked, and used texts to communicate any details so he didn't have to knock on my door. I appreciated the quiet time very much and look forward to working with him again!!

They reached out to us within about an hour of our contacting them through the website, and squeezed us into a full schedule the following day for an assessment and estimate — which was much appreciated. Josh, the technician, contacted us in the course of the day to make sure we knew that we were not forgotten, and when he arrived gave us a thorough, courteous, and thoughtful assessment of what the best option might be to address the large wasp population in our well house. Unfortunately the estimate put treatment out of reach for us at the moment on our very tight budget, but I would not hesitate to call this company back for assistance at a later date.

Josh always contacts us when he goes to our cabin. We aren’t always at the cabin but he makes sure to contact us. He does a great job and has been reliable. We appreciate him and Eden.

Service estimated was way too expensive for what was needed. Decided not to use.
