Chimney Sweep reviews in Tacoma, Washington

Outstanding company. Nick is very thorough, professional, and amiable. I highly recommend this company!

They did a great job on a very difficult install. I am very please with my new wood burning insert.

For over 10 years, South Sound Sweeps has done an excellent job maintaining my roofs, chimneys, & fireplaces.

Outstanding work! Very reasonable bid, extremely honest and friendly, not to mention hard working. I would highly recommend these guys.

Very pleased with the work done by South Sound sweeps! Highly recommend them for any of your chimney needs.

Installed wood burning fireplace insert in old fireplace with failing heat-o-lator flue, damper, and chimney connection Sound chimney assessed problems and recommended a solution which did not require extensive and expensive rebuilding of fireplace and chimney (even though they do this kind of work when necessary) This approach easily saved us $10K and all worked perfectly thru first winter of use

Top rate service and friendly people with SSS. Provided instruction on proper use and care of my woodstove. I highly recommend SSS.

Competitive pricing, great customer service and honest. From the first time I called until the final correspondence the experience was wonderful. Definitely better than the other places I called. Thank you Nick.

Absolutely excellent experience, inspected my chimney, gave sound advice and provided excellent installation services. Absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone!

I highly recommend South Sound Sweep for chimney cleaning / repair. Nick was professional, great job, good price, on time, can't ask for more.

Chimney rebuild that looks better than the original. Highly satisfied with the job.

Nick did a fantastic job! He went above and beyond. Even found a way to shift some jobs around to work on my chimney during my funding window.

Nick and Mike are great!! They do an excellent job and their prices are reasonable. They have a strong work ethic and are simply a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!

Great experience with these guys. They installed 2 liners and a wood burning stove, and did some masonry work on my chimney. Would definitely do business again.

Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks earlier for these guys to come out December 5th. Not a problem I know it’s busy season. The time allotted was between 3-5 and they said they’d give a 30 minute call ahead. So I took time off work so I could be home that time frame. I’m sure you know where this is going, but come 430 I haven’t heard anything from them, so I call. Got their voicemail, and left a message. It is know the 9th and still no word from them. It’s a shame because no I’ve wasred so much time with these guys that I don’t think I’ll be able to have my fireplace fixed before winter is over. I don’t know how anyone can stay in business with this lack of work ethic. Stay Away.

Old school professionalism and craftsmanship for a 1920's historic Northend home chimney rebuild. Historically accurate in all aspects. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended!

My previous review that I did was 2 stars due to the never contacting me after an apoitment was made.. they reached out to me and let me know there was a family emergency and they were unable to get to us and we got lost in the shuffle afterwards. That to me speaks volumes.. family is #1 and I get it they apologized and that means a lot for a business to do that. I rescheduled with them they came and did the work and it was fantastic. Thanks for being awesome..

We love South Sound Sweeps. They are the best. Some might think a chimney clean and repair job will get messy. Not so! Clean as clean can be. (And I learn something new with every visit!)

If you have chimneys that need inspection, cleaning, repair or upgrade, South Sound Sweeps, Inc. are the pros that know.
Timely, professional, very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They could also help get a new system installed.

I had a rooftop brick chimney that was leaking inside the house. South Sound Sweeps stayed with me and after several visits and sealing the bricks, this is the first Northwest rainy season in years, we can look forward to with no leaks!

Mike went out of his way to help repair my chimney after a bad storm brought a tree down on my home and severely damaged my chimney, leaving a gaping hole in my roof. With some photos, measurements, and some back and forth communication, Mike was able to provide me a quote and come out on short notice to repair my chimney. His communication was great, he was prompt, courteous, he stuck to the original estimate he provided, and after he repaired the chimney, he took the time to inspect the stove pipe and wood stove and make the necessary repairs inside the home as well. Mike went out of his way to help out a homeowner in a pinch and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I couldn't say anything better about my experience working with him. Thank you Mike!
