We live on a slightly larger property with established bushes, trees, ivy and blackberries - typical Pacific northwest. Our last 2 yard services were good, but unable to keep up with the overgrowth. Father Nature did a fantastic job, in only 3 days, and at a very competitive price. Mayra listened to what we asked for, and the crew was quick, professional, and very considerate of us and our old dog. They communicated with us at every step, they did not make assumptions, but asked us specific questions about certain plants they were working on. We are extremely pleased with their work ethic and the result. Our goal is to keep them as maintenance. Thank you!

This company is great! We have used them for both a backyard makeover, lawn maintenance and on-going repair work. They are responsive, friendly, cooperative and produce high quality work. 10/10 would recommend for someone that values quality.

We had a great experience with Father Nature. They removed an old 2 level deck and defunct hot tub and replaced them with a beautiful one level, cedar deck with new railings and stairs. Their attention to detail and their commitment to getting it right are amazing. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Chris and Jose from our first meeting to discuss the project to the final details of construction.

We live near the Father Nature office and id seen the trucks over the years advertising their services. We are getting ready to sell our home and immediately thought of them. I contacted them through their website to get a quote and someone called me back. Cameron was scheduled to come out and write up a quote for me, he called to confirm, showed up on time, was very personable, took a long time to make sure I understood their processes, measured everything, then gave me his card and said I’d get a quote back on Monday. A couple of weeks went by and crickets. I called the office, she said she’d give him my message, and nothing. I e sailed him and guess what? Nothing, such a disappointment and horrible customer service. What a waste of time.

I’m in the process now of working with this company to create a plant plan. Initially I had a good experience when walking through my property and discussing ideas. The plant plan missed the mark in many, many ways. Trying to contact the original designer has been very, very difficult. There are many changes that need to be made but I get no response through email. I feel like they did not listen to what I wanted or needed. Much left to be desired, will need to contact the manager at this point. Would not recommend.

We are loving our front yard landscape. Communications with Chris, Isaibel and Alonso made for an easy process. The team kept to their project scope of work, budget and timeline. They were very tidy on completion of this project. I would recommend Father Nature Landscapes to all my friends.

Father Nature carried out a landscape revamp for our tired 1960's yard almost 10 years ago. It has been a joy to come home and see a "put together" plan thanks to Sue Goetz's advising and Chris Sheer's installation, to have a beautiful view outside every season of the year, and to have attractive "functional" areas too.

Now this year we needed help planting a row of arborvitae after taking out trees with "issues" on a property line. Sergio and Luciano came and made prompt work of the job. They were so pleasant, gave informed answers to my questions, included us in the placement decisions, and were careful not to damage surrounding plantings.

Luciano and Sergio were professionals who weren't "putting in time" but pro's who were proud of their work. I loved that THEY liked their jobs, doing a service that beautifies and helps their customers -- with such cheerful attitudes. I would employ their services again in a minute. Now I am headed out to water these new trees - to make sure I do my part to ensure the success of Father Nature's work. Thanks Sergio and Luciano!

Father Nature Landscapes has been wonderful! They designed a beautiful healthy creative look for my property. Chris and the members of his team have been responsive to any questions I have had, and have maintained everything so well, it looks like it was just landscaped. The Father Nature crew did a wonderful job on our tiered retaining walls! They responded quickly to questions and made changes to the design as needed. They were always kind, professional, and communicated well. They were also respectful of our neighbors and kept the site clean. I would hire them again!

I had a fabulous experience with Father Nature from beginning to the end of our project. We were blown away with all of the materials, precision, and dedication to hardscape our backyard. We used Father Nature to do a complete overhaul of our yard: design, take down of existing trees, patio, fire pit, the works. They were flat out amazing. Our yard looks fantastic and two of our neighbors already want to use them. Cameron and his team were reliable, on time, and worked diligently to complete the project. Father Nature is also trustworthy and dependable, which is hard to find in these days. They were extremely professional, clear, and did beautiful work installing turf, retention walls, and railing in our backyard. They really took care of our space, and were very friendly. I have been a client of Father Nature Landscapes for many years - first for landscape design and improvements and then for maintenance. I have always found them easy to talk to, responsive to questions and concerns and consistently fairly priced. The maintenance crews are efficient and respectful of our property and it is easy to coordinate for extra services such as aerating, mulching and additional hardscaping (as separate projects). I would recommend using Father Nature for maintenance AND for landscaping projects.

This is our 2nd project with Father Nature. From the initial discussion through the design and cost decisions, Chris was awesome. The time from signing the contract to getting the project started was relatively short and once the project started, the crew worked hard and efficiently to complete the project. Alonso and his crew were careful and thorough, paying attention to details and keeping the finished look in mind. They are definitely artists in their trade. We are exceptionally happy with the way things turned out and exceptionally satisfied with Father Nature. Highly Recommend

Chris and his crew did a fantastic job installing a brand new hog wire fence, irrigation system, privacy plants, and other plantings that we requested. The crew was: 1) always on time 2) cleaned up the job site when done 3) showed up when they said they would for this multiple day job 4) were polite and hard working, and 5) basically did everything that they said they would with flawless execution. Reliability and excellence are hard to find nowadays, and I'm extremely pleased with the result. Would highly recommend.

We chose Father Nature based on a referral from a friend and couldn't be happier with their services. From the initial consult with Chris, to Carl and his crew taking on our project, they got our irrigation system changes all taken care of with expertise and professionalism. Father Nature remodeled our existing dock. They had their work cut out for them because our dock was not attractive. We can't believe the transformation, they greatly exceeded our expectations. Their design, construction and execution were amazing!

Update: FNL has been working with us since the original review and have been very helpful. So helpful that we have decided to work with them again on our front yard. They have already fixed the drain issue in the back and plan to fix the irrigation as well when they come back for the rest of the work. Will update again after the rest of the work is completed. This review is long overdue. FNL redid our backyard in 2021 and they did a pretty good job at first but the customer service completely fell apart in the end. 1) We were given a design plan we liked but then were given an estimate that didn't include all parts of the original design. For example, we wanted a permanent gas fire pit. As novice landscape clients, we didn't notice it wasn't part of the estimate until after the work had begun. They ended up getting us the pit but it was the sloppiest job with gaps between the stones, loose stones along the rim, and the orange goo used to keep it together is visible all over. 2) We had a consistent concern that one of our original drains in the backyard was not going to remain after all was said and done. We asked time and time again for them to keep the drain which they ignored, saying that the grade would take care of it. Guess what? we have a small pond on our sports court with every heavy rain. 3) An irrigation system was set up and we were guaranteed that it was well under the pressure limit for each zone. Not once have the sprinklers all worked in the back due to lack of pressure. First, we thought it was the huge leak we found in the system at the control box but the sprinklers still didn't work after they came to fix it. We asked them to come back again and they refused. 4) They did keep one of the original drains at the other end of the sports court but we still noticed 2 inches of standing water in the surrounding lawn after the first big rain. We tried to run a snake down it but always reached a block. We asked them to come back to look at this and again, they refused saying that drain was never hooked up to the existing drain pipe in the first place. Because they would not come back, my husband dug up the drain to see what was going on and found a cobbled together hack job with their misaligned pipes that run right by the existing drain pipe but do not connect to it (see picture). So now, in the summer, we water our back lawn with movable sprinklers and have a swamp in the winter. I was so upset 2 summers ago, I called to speak to the owner. The receptionist was very nice and called me back to say that the owner was in a meeting but they would call back the next day. Of course, they never called. I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want a company with integrity and follow through.

In the spring of 2021, we had a pond with a salmon fountain put built in our back yard. We purchased to fountain from a dealer in Santa Fe, NM and had Father Nature, a local landscaping company build the pond and the surrounds. They did a wonderful job and gave us a 3-year warranty on the work they did, which included purchasing and installing the pump for the fountain. At the end of the second year, we had some problems with the inner workings of the fountain which had 8 salmon spouting water. So, the fountain was nonoperational for about 9 months. Once we had the fountain repaired and tried to hook it back up to the pump, the pump was not working correctly. We notified Father Nature and were politely told our warranty expired. I appealed and was told that someone would contact me. I was contacted by the owner, Chris Scheer, the next day. After hearing my story, he told me he would be out in 45 minutes. He showed up and we discussed the pump and then he pointed out some other things that needed to be made better. Within a few short weeks, all was better to include an new pump. All at no charge. What a wonderful company and management. I would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.
