Excellent experience with this company. I was worried after seeing the reviews, and wondered if something had changed since we last used them. My only negative is that they don't always answer the phone. On the flip side they are very persistent in returning your call.

They arrived within the time frame they said, they were transparent about the additional cost to come to Yacolt, and they were super quick and efficient. They did the work I was hiring them to do and didn't charge me for things I hadn't approved. This is the type of service I can get behind, and I'm so happy that I chose to use them to service and clean my chimney.

We have had Ashley cleaning our wood stove every spring for 12 years. They have always done a great job in a professional manner. The price is very reasonable and the work is excellent.

Assume these folks are competitively priced, as our property mgmt company sent them. Have to say, they were on time, efficient, professional, and yet, somehow, personable. They were careful to protect our personal property in the room. Everything was immaculate when they left. Also, I noticed the damper seems to close more securely since their service.

We have used their services twice. Now in the 2 year period and absolutely love our experience with them. They are in and out and clean up after they are done with the service. Their boss and the technician are very kind . 10/10 would Recommend

Soo we had Ashley chimney clean our chimney a couple years ago, They did a good job, but then quoted us an outrageous amount for our chimney top / cap repairs... Well my husband is a capable, handy guy, got up on the roof and saw a couple spots that needed resealing. It was a repair that was under 20 bucks and took very little time... I would say that they were good for the chimney clean but be aware when they tell you about hundreds of dollars in repair that you need. Also they call ALL the time to see if we need any repairs or cleanings done. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

This Company sent two workers to my home that proceeded to break almost every seal on the exhaust piping in the chase behind the brick wall in my living room. If they would have removed all the screws before pulling and tugging my Harmon Pellet stove it probably would have not done this type damage. I walked in to see this I reminded them that these pipes usually have 2 screws holding the piping together. They finally got it apart and swept it out when I fired the stove that night it filled my house with smoke. I called them to fix it they tried and it still filled my house with smoke, we had been burning pellets all year and never had a hint of the smell of smoke come into our house. I called them again they put high temp mortar seal on the joint behind the stove let it dry two days, it still leaked filling my house with smoke. The owner told me they could not fix it, so I had to call another company to come out and repair and replace piping system and a carpenter to tear out a wall to get to the exhaust piping in the chase to repair or replace leaking pipe joints from all the tugging and pushing Ashley Chimney Services had done. We are at almost $2,000.00 dollars damage to my home taking them to court do not use this company!!!

I’ve used them for several years. Were always friendly and thorough. Things seem to have changed this year. Technicians came out and in chatting before leaving I noticed the frame of my cable curtain was hanging on one side. They tried to repair and but finally after watching them do the same thing, I said it seems not reparable. That asked if I wanted them to remove the other volt. I said yes. They offered to dispose of the entire screen. NOw clean chimney but can’t burn. No ‘we’re sorry perhaps we can comp the cleaning’. Nothing. Called the office to see if they carried chimney things or where I might go to buy another screen. Again no apology just a suggestion of where to go. I spent 3 hours driving around and eventually bought a screen for over $340 that sits outside the fireplace. I won’t be going back next year. Different experience unfortunately

We got a quote from Ashely for well over $1000. We got a second quote from Vancouver Chimney for around $200.00
Ashely has a reputation for being dishonest.

The second on was that their helper didn't come back from his break so they couldn't come. In between 2 canceled appointments the secretary called me (on the wrong day) and told me they were running late. She confused my appointment with someone else's. They have a low rating on Yelp overall Stay away

Was given a good news and bad news. Good news: the chimney did not need cleaning. Bad news: I needed new caps because the ones there were rusted and the mortar was cracked. This could be fixed to a tune of over $800.00. I paid the ~$80.00 for the service charge.
Later, a neighbor was kind enough to show me the caps. There was no rust and he could not see any problems with the mortar.
You can draw your own conclusions.

Unbelievably unprofessional. Did not complete the job. Chimney is only half cleaned. They even tried to charge us more because “it was a harder chimney job” . They never mentioned to us that depending on your chimney, it depends on cost. It also seemed as thought it was a burden to do the job. He was in a bad mood. I would not recommend. Only thing he did properly, was wear a mask.

I paid to have my chimney and Wood stove cleaned. They tried getting more money out of me for repairs. Luckily I got a 2nd opinion for the repairs. The other company discovered my chimney was not cleaned and full of soot. Now I cannot reach anyone for customer service. I called and forwarded pictures to the person who sets appointments. No office to go to and no name for owner or manager. Very disappointing. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

I had been using Ashley Chimney Service for several year and they came out in late February to do their 29 point inspection of my wood stove and chimney. After twenty minutes he was done but when I checked there was still ashes in the stove and I had to request that it also be cleaned out. He also said my chimney needed pressure washing and waterproofing that they could do for an additional $289 with a 5 year warranty. The next day I checked my records and found they had done the pressure washing/ waterproofing on my chimney in 2014 and it had a 15 year warranty according to the invoice. I called back to schedule an appointment to have this done but got the runaround for a few weeks. Finally, they said I would need to pay another $79.95 to inspect it to see if the leaking was due to them. Apparently, the first guys 29 point inspection for $129.95 + tax was not good enough to determine this. I will not use this company again as they do not honor their warranties.

They supposedly cleaned our stove pipe. I wasn’t really happy at the time but thought “oh well, good enough.” Now that it’s cold we’re trying to use it and the whole house gets full of smoke. They won’t return calls. When someone finally returned a call after numerous calls over more than a week’s time, she said she’d call right back after talking to the tech (?). She didn’t. Still no calls back. I guess at this point I’ll have to pay someone reputable to fix the damage and sue them for the cost. Avoid them!

Last month we had them come out to clean our chimney only to discover they needed to install an access door to clean the chimney in our recently purchased house. It took a week of back and forth with the receptionist to finally confirm an appointment for this. The day the appointment was scheduled they never showed. My husband called them 4 times and 4 hours after their scheduled arrival time he received a call from one of their workers saying they would be there shortly. They arrived and began the installation of the door, but then left before the job was complete. They did not seal around the installed access door, did not clean our chimney and didn't clean their mess up. We came home to discover all the knocked out brick and mortar laying on top of our wood stove box and creosote caked inside the walls of the chimney. (Because they were so late we were forced to leave for work prior to them finishing the outside portion of the installation). Every time we have attempted to get ahold of this company they do not answer and do not call back. My husband had received a price quote for the job the first time they came out, but while doing the installation they attempted to charge us double what the original quote was. I do not recommend this company for anything.

If you ever do business with them they will continually call and harass you late in the evening, even after being asked to be taken off their call list. Since you guys have no email or other form I can make a record of.
Do not ever contact me again, remove my number from your call list. This is harassment.
