Horribly unprofessional. This company has been scheduled for weeks to come do a routine inspection of the electrical system at the apartment I live in. They just picked a time and assigned it to our unit. The time was really inconvenient for my roomate and I and we called weeks ago and asked to see if it could be rescheduled. They were very inflexible and would not change the date or time in order to allow for one of us to be home. Initially we did not want anyone coming when we weren't able to be present. We understand that they also have schedules they need to abide by and can't reschedule everyone to fit clients needs so after discussing it my roomate and I decided we would be okay if they showed up at the scheduled time when we weren't there and we made a code for our keyless entry that they could use that was set for that timeframe. I received a call the day BEFORE they were scheduled to be there and at a completely different time of day saying they weren't able to get in with the code we provided. I confirmed that we weren't scheduled until tomorrow and they said they knew that but had time so they had tried to let themselves in since they had time. They never called or emailed or anything letting us know they would be trying to enter our home not during the scheduled time. I'm not sure they would have even let us know except for the fact that the code didn't work (thank God it didn't). It is absolutely unacceptable to try to enter a client's home when you are not scheduled and not given permission to be there. If they had been successful at letting themselves in and we had been home I would have called the cops. When we called to complain they had no remorse whatsoever. We have let our landlords know about the incident and hope that they choose to never do business with this company again.
