Landscaping reviews in Vancouver, Washington

I very much enjoyed shopping here today. On our way in we saw busy & industrious employees working to keep the place clean and sparkling. The next person I saw directed me to exactly what I was looking for, and then I found veggies for half price, and still in surprisingly good shape, give how late in the season it is. My car is full to the brim of beautiful flowrrs and tasty veggies.

Ok. So their prices are not as low as the depot or the low place but they are in my neighborhood, friendly and always asking to help and have a great selection of plants and trees al year long. I will pay for the convenience and selection. Also have a good amount of bulk material such as rocks, gravel, bark. They will even provide a lot of that in bags if you want. I wish they were open a bit later in summer.

Great selection of plants and garden decor. Reasonable price prices. Friendly service.

A lot of variety and the workers were super kind and helpful. The prices are much higher on some plants - especially the hanging baskets (check another nursery) and dahlias (get those at Fred Meyer!!! They're under $5 for BEAUTIFUL plants)!

Super large nursery with tons of options! Indoor and outdoor door plants/flowers, accessories, tools, yard, and garden supplies. I went during the winter looking for indoor flower pots and large outdoor pots. It's not a large selection yet since it's winter, but still a ton of items! I can't wait to go during the spring/summer months! Prices seemed a little high on some items but look like good quality and worth it.

My wife picked me up a clematis for Christmas . She was told to transplant it I did. I called in April about it not looking good, I was told to give it more sun and if it didn't make it I could bring it back, even gave me his name.
May 22 I returned with the dead plant only to be told it froze and my fault no replacement?
Why did you sell my wife a plant that would freeze before we could plant it? How did they expect us to keep it from freezing, keep it in the house? I'm a life long Clark Co. resident have been here so many times.
Not happy.
Won't go back. -
My wife Trudy and have been plant/vegetable shopping here for several years. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable. Sandy, the staff person that helped us today was very personable and helpful. She helped us pick out the plants that would work best for the application we needed. Her suggestions were spot on. This nursery has a very large selection of plants and vegetables and seem to be reasonable in pricing.

Yard 'n Garden Land is a Vancouver treasure. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to talk about plants, placement and precipitation. As well as seasonal standards from seeds to trees, Yard 'n Garden always has unique varieties in eye popping arrangements to buy or create. Though it can be spendy, the gift shop is quaint and carries just about everything a gardener could want. They also carry a variety of landscape rocks, mulches and soils for pickup or delivery. Little by little, thanks to their great advice and whimsical ideas, my house is becoming a home.

Very nice, and big, garden store with tons of plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. Not the cheapest place, but good quality and selection! Very nice, and helpful people if you have questions... and we had several!

We buy almost all our plants here. Good variety , you can walk and walk and find pretty flowers and plants. I would suggest to research at home and go with a list of what you want. Four stars because we could not find help, we had to go all the way to the cash register to fnd someone.

I love this place. They've really expanded their indoor garden offerings and have added even more decor for inside and out. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, and I got the MOST SPECTACULAR, huge hanging basket here. I got a ton of compliments from it. Definitely worth checking out if you're a Vancouver plant lover! I've added some pictures of a couple cute things I'm trying to sell my husband on now. 😉

Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered 3 yards of mulch and the delivery was on time and the driver was also friendly. We will be back as our project is ongoing.

One of the best parts of visiting Yard 'n Garden Land is that they are pet friendly.

The seasons change and I grow older. The years slip by like sand in the waves dissolving under one’s feet. I find myself wanting to sit in a garden surrounded by a cacophony of plants, the sounds of evening birds, of that invisible frog that calls to me from some small moist garden spot.
I suppose this is a sign of age, this growing urge to sit in the garden and just let the mind range.
Sunflowers and Morning Glories, Clematis, Irises of all kinds, giant Poppies, Nasturtiums, Rhubarb, Tomatoes of course… a wide variety, Calla Lilies, Tetrapanex, Artichokes, Ranunculus, Peonies, and Herbs, all wrapped in Hops and Virginia Creeper, until it is a wild little nest… mad but quiet and secure.
So I have been going to nurseries and wandering around to see what I can see, lots of nurseries, and man are they all as different as the seasons of the year. Some are snobby and some are meager in their offerings. Some are priced for the elite and some are more reasonable.
I’m not sure why Yard’n Garden fell last on the list in my explorations, but finally its day came and I ventured out like an old pirate in search of stolen gold.
It did not disappoint. It seemed to me that the place not only had more plants of wild variety, but the staff seemed happily intent on their duties and everything seemed to be thriving.
More plants and varieties than anywhere else I have found.
I kind of regret having come here last, it would have served my purposes admirably. The strange red Hibiscus, the Sage, Japanese Irises, and a spearmint with large soft leaves, which I love to stroke like a lovers hand briefly every time I pass.
So this is the one. The city of plants, the hand that feeds. It is the vibrant oasis hidden in plain sight. I can only imagine how many homes it has transformed, how many old folks find respite by sitting in gardens it has fed.
I have room for nothing else, but knowing me I will still find magical plants and fit them in somewhere. -
I absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I found this place a week ago and have been back almost everyday for some great finds! There is so much variety here which has made it easy to find stuff for my landscaping project. All of my plant so far has been bought from this great local nursery! I am a very happy customer and will be back for sure!

I’ve been here a few times and got a few trees and bushes for my home. My grandma loves this place aswell, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are okay from plants but most of the prices are very reasonable as they will live for a long time as long as you properly take care of it while it’s young. They have a wide variety of plants and trees which i love as some places don’t offer all that they do. They have an indoor and outdoor section, the indoor section is beautiful and organized, lints of plants and little items you can buy, very beautiful and lively plants.
This is a mature plant I’ve had for years that i got from Yard ‘n Garden!
