Leo, Brandan, Dylan, and Jon did a great job taking down a tree that was damaging our foundation. The whole process was easy and smooth, from getting a quote from Jake to accepting, to scheduling, to the actual tree removal. They cleaned up so well and I appreciated the extra touches of blowing off leaves on the roof. They made quick work of it too!

I highly recommend Vitalitree Vashon after working with Jean-Luc on an alder removal project this fall. Jean-Luc knows his trees, communicates well, and was extremely careful in his work. The trees he was working on were surrounding our house. He took every step to ensure safety of the structure, even keeping an eye out for our landscape plants. Thanks, Jean-Luc. Seattle & Vashon Arborists (Vitaltree LLC) just did a clean up job for my neighbors who had a tree fall into their back yard. They appeared to do a good job, but showered debris all over my brand new truck that was parked across the street during the shredding process. I was home, so they could have asked me to move it for safety, or they could have set up a barricade to protect it, but they did absolutely nothing. Their reckless disregard for other people's property left scratches so deep that they cannot be polished out (see photo). It makes no difference if someone does a great job with tree removal and shredding if they damage nearby property and fail to clean up after themselves. This is unacceptable!

Jake and his crew removed some limbs encroaching on our incoming utility lines and other limbs overhanging our roof in addition to pruning several trees in a way that enhances their appearance while likely improving their health. Finally, they removed a tree that impinged on the incoming water meter including a tight tolerance stump grind. After the pruning and tree removal, they cleaned everything up. To cap it all off they were very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Jean-Luc, Brendan, and team are excellent - they're work is very fairly priced (keeping in mind, tree removal can be expensive), the team is incredibly knowledgeable, only removes trees when truly necessary, and works incredibly fast.

When alder on the top of a ravine was partially uprooted in recent windstorms, and was threatening to fall on my neighbor's house, Jean-Luc's crew responded the next morning and snagged the tree, along with two others, even in the middle of more wind and rain. Such a relief! Especially with another atmospheric river expected later this week.

Jean-Luc and team performed a masterful high-wire acrobatic routine as they battled three intertwined trees that were threatening our house structure. Professional and conscientious, debris piles tidy, leaves and sawdust blown away. I would gladly hire them again in the future.

Update from owners response: yes this is true you were working for the neighbor but the hedges are shared. As I stated Wednesday, we did not ask for him to be fired we asked for him to be removed from that job. Your response is extremely condescending. Not only is it condescending but it's dismissive and untrue. Extremely disappointing to yet again see men protect men with no regard for women or their safety.

I had a very concerning experience with this company due to the conduct of one of their employees, Justin. While working on the property, he became extremely aggressive and shouted profanities at me while holding a chainsaw after I asked him to stop and wait at the homeowners’ request, as they had not authorized the removal of their hedges.
I was house-sitting at the time and calmly relayed the homeowners’ instructions. Justin’s response was hostile, unprofessional, and entirely unwarranted. What made the situation even more troubling is that I am pregnant, and his behavior showed a complete disregard for basic professionalism and safety.
I contacted management and spoke directly with the manager, Jake, to report the incident. Despite being informed of Justin’s aggressive and verbally abusive conduct, he was allowed to remain on the job for the rest of the day. This lack of accountability raises serious concerns about how this company addresses employee behavior and customer safety.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company.

Vitalitree is incredibly responsive, professional, and knowledgeable about tree care and management. They have done excellent pruning work for us, and reliably treat our birch tree yearly. Jordan has come out several times to evaluate large trees on our property for safety, and I always learn something. Highly recommend their services.

We are very particular about our property, plants and trees and had heard only positive feedback about Vitalitree. We are so pleased with their job. Jordan did the estimate and we had a great discussion on options. Once we finally decided on exactly what needed to be done, the crew of Brandon, Malcolm and Ayden did the Cherry tree and stump removal and the various other tree trimmings. The crew offered further ideas and input that made the entire experience most rewarding. Professional, knowledgable, honest, efficient, friendly, flexible - can only state positive traits from the experience. Vitalitree are now our arborists of record going-forward. They will be back in the spring to do the more spring-appropriate work.

Josh and Finn did a super job topping some of trees which were blocking my view. They made excellent assessment as to how to top the trees so that it would look natural (not flat) - and made sure that it was done in way so the trees would survive. Vitalitree LLC is the best. I will hire them again in the future.

They navigated spaces one would think impossible with their incredible lift and skillfully brought down hazardous madrones and alders without incident, prioritizing safety and service.
