The best electrical contractor in SW Washington, bar none. Excellent service start to finish. The did a conduit to our shed, lights on the patio, and vehicle chargers in the garage in one job, 2 days. Flawless execution. Not the cheapest game in town but for electric on your home... Worth every penny!

Thankfully it was not a big job but was amazed at how fast they were able to schedule it. Sorry I can't remember the electricians name, but he was respectful and professional. Will definitely hire them again if needed.

Sims electric came to our home to troubleshoot a plug-in that was not working and change the plug-ins go through our box. Let me feel more comfortable with our 1973 mobile home. We in the end found out a light switch with our main problem we found this at the end that service. But we were just very happy that the job is done. And our home is safe for two young man who came here and work on time, totally respectful and polite and friendly. Could not of had a nicer guys come into our home. Thank you so much

Simms Electric is AWESOME and highly recommended! We lost power to our heater so I spent a good portion of the day calling any and all Electrician's I could find online. Simms was THE ONLY company that answered the phone, listened to my issue, and came out to take a look in a timely manner. David was able to solve my problem and was very professional and courteous. You just don't find companies like Simm's anymore, meaning excellent customer service, finding a way to help you when your stranded, and a personal and professional touch. Good company, but I felt I was overcharged
They sent an electrician AND his apprentice,
The job could have been easily done by one employee rather than me paying for an apprentice which doubled the hours charged.
I doubt if an apprentice is paid the same as a licensed electrician
I was quoted 600.00 at the initial inspection of the job and maybe less if I chose to pay for labor and equipment
As you see, my charge is over 700.00

Sump pump failed during last heavy rain. With water rising and waiting for surgery it was impossible for me to go under house with 6 inches of water to replace the pump. Had a new pump on hand so called Simms Electric to see if they could help me out. Lady on phone was very helpful and polite. Put David on phone and after a few questions said he would be out shortly. He showed up within 30 minutes. Surveyed the problem and installed new pump in terrible conditions. Will call them if any electrical problems. Thanks again. Bob and Judy.

We had a 4-switch light circuit that quit working on our Pastor's house. The Electrician, Ryan worked on the problem for a while, then dove under the house and tracked the problem down in the crawlspace after talking to the owner Dave who showed up to help. Turned out to be a staple through a wire that had finally shorted. Really smart and persistant! Whole project took about 90 minutes. Happy to pay the reasonable bill. Will definitely use these guys for our upcoming kitchen remodel.

Simms Electric has been excellent in solving our lighting needs. Once it was the replacement of outdoor security lights that come on by movement and were no longer functioning well. That was November 2022 and the new lighting is excellent and continues to operate very well. Our street recently had a power outage for a few hours one night and the outdoor garage and porch lights were no longer operating on a dusk to dawn auto operation. The very tiny system for the auto operation was difficult to figure out. I received service from Simms Electric a day later and it was set up again within a short time. I highly recommend this firm for any lighting requirements. Their location is Washougal, WA

My wife and I needed an electrician to wire our tiny-house and David showed up within a days notice. After a hand-shake and a bid we gave them the work. Not only was his team efficient and effective yet his team did excellent work leaving the place well lit and clean. They even came back on a moments notice to add something we had missed. We were able to get a bid for the "total job" and the price was right! WOW! what a great company to work with! We would recommend them to anyone

Simms Electric was absolutely awesome to work with. They fit me into their busy schedule and helped me with a time sensitive installation of a 220 circuit for a welder in my shop. They were punctual, professional, and did a top shelf job. I highly recommend David and his crew!

This place is amazing. A home insurance inspector (who was not an electrical inspector) came on behalf of Hartford Insurance and I received a letter from them that said my breakers were Zinsco type and were dangerous and out of date and that we would need to have the breaker box and breakers replaced. It didn't seem right since our system was put in long after those breaker systems had been discontinued. After looking on inspection websites, I found information that supported that the inspector probably was mistaken but I needed a professional opinion. I took very detailed photos of the box and breakers and visited Simms electric. Mr. Simms was able to make an assessment and confirm that our breakers were indeed modern, safe Westinghouse breakers and up to code. He was able to generate a letter for the insurance company and saved me a lot of expense. He did this graciously and without charge! If I ever need any electrical work done I will be heading there. This kind of service is amazing and so rare these days. Thank you!
