We have used Fine Line Tree Service twice on major tree removal. Garrett and the team did a solid job of removing the trees, stumps, and roots without collateral damage. His stump grinding is excellent, providing no trace of stumps. His prices were quite competitive.

As a long time customer of Garrett's, I have found him to be always pleasant, professional and efficient.

My property is heavily treed and I used to have to regularly shop around for a competent tree service until I came across Fine Line Tree Service almost ten years ago.

I highly recommend Garrett and his crew. You won't be disappointed!

The team came in promptly. Took down two trees that have been over grown. In and out like it was nothing.

Team was extremely professional. Never feared the tree was going to fall onto the house (it was a 4 story tree that was 5 ft from our home). They cleaned up everything.

Even while he was wrapping up, some neighbors asked if he can help with a quick job in their yards.

We've hired Garrett and his crew multiple times for tree removal and tree trimming services on our property, and we continue to recommend him to our neighbors whenever anyone is looking for reliable arbor services in our Eastside King County area.

We live in a rather heavily wooded area with an odd layout, including a gully along one side of our driveway and a large number of pine trees in varying stages of health. Some are healthy while others are dying or rotting, which presents a safety hazard given more recent windy weather, so we're always a bit fearful of these trees falling in the wrong direction.

Garrett has helped us assess, remove, and maintain these trees over the years at very fair pricing. What really stands out is that he and his crew consistently take the extra time to thoroughly clean up the area after the job. We've never had to deal with scattered remaining branches or leftover wood chip piles. When we've asked, he's even chipped and spread the wood chips back into targeted areas for landscaping, which has saved us from having to bring in mulch separately for other areas.

Two experiences in particular stand out for Garrett's dependability:
- We had a rotting tree that posed a real risk to our home if it fell. Other companies declined the job due to its difficulty and location. Garrett safely climbed and removed the tree section-by-section, eliminating the danger without incident.
- During the 2024 bomb cyclone, a 60-foot pine fell into our gully, ripped out of the ground by its roots. Garrett was able to respond quickly, and was able to cut up and haul away the entire tree, helping us recover from storm damage much faster than we expected.

We have used Fine Line tree service 3 or 4 times. Garrett and his team have taken down some giant complex maple trees close to our house without any issues. As well as stump grinding and misc trimming and pruning. They are always on time on budget and do a great job cleaning up the site when complete. We will use then again if needed. We highly recommend Fineline.

I hired Fine Line Tree Service for tree limbing and removal. The written quote clearly included full debris cleanup.

The trimming itself was done well and improved our lake view. However, a large amount of sticks and debris was left throughout the yard in all work areas, despite "remove all branch debris" being part of the quoted scope. I followed up, and the owner confirmed he would return on a specific date.

Before that scheduled date, he left a voicemail downplaying the concern, suggesting he had already done "more than maybe we needed to." Then he showed up unannounced the evening before the agreed day -- without responding to my message asking for confirmation. He knew we had young children, and I was putting my child to sleep when I had to text him to leave. He knocked on the door anyway, which was inappropriate and intrusive.

There was no apology for the disruption, the communication gap, or the disregard for boundaries. The actual tree work was solid, but the lack of professionalism, follow-through, and respect for the customer made this a frustrating experience. I wouldn't use this company again.

Thanks for responding publicly. I want to clarify that this issue wasn’t just a “disruption.”

Your written quote clearly included full debris cleanup. That didn’t happen. Twigs, sticks, and branch debris were left scattered across the entire work area, and it took a follow-up message from me—weeks later—to get any response.

More seriously, you told me you’d return at an agreed-upon time, but instead showed up unannounced at 7 PM, entered my property without notice or permission, and knocked on my door—even after I asked you to leave. That was inappropriate and crosses the line into trespassing. This also happened during my young child's bedtime, and you were making significant noise directly outside her window.

I shared these exact concerns with you privately by email and got no reply. It’s only now, after the feedback is public, that you’ve chosen to respond—and only partially acknowledge the issue. That says a lot.

The trimming work did improve our lake view. But how everything else was handled—especially communication, professionalism, and respect for our home—was unacceptable.
