Welder reviews across the US

Great solution and work. I needed a custom push blower attachment for my tractor. The end result was great and custom made including painting looks like came from factory. I spent bit more $ than I expected but it was a quality work.

We had issues with our boat trailer as the weld failed and the spindle broke off from the axle that left us on the side of the road. After getting towed back to the house we had to figure out how to fix it. Option 1, buy a new trailer (over $2,000) option 2, try to replace the whole axle (over 6 week lead time) or option 3, get a new spindle welded back on the axle. I found Bold Services on google and seen they had perfect reviews so decided to give them a call. Even though Terry just had rotator cuff surgery on the day I contacted him, he still took on the job and had it fixed the same day I dropped it off to him two days after surgery. He even realized that the axle was not straight and realized whoever attempted to fix this repair before did a very poor job and it was unsafe. He straightened the axle and welded the spindle on correctly to help us get the trailer mobile again! He did this at a very reasonable price and all in a few hours. We cannot thank Terry enough as we didn’t have any other real options. If you want something done right, call Bold! Thanks again Terry!

The first photos are of the spindle break and the last one is what the spindle and axle looked like after Terry fixed it

Their work is okay if you actually get them to come out. The lack of communication (response) from this company is really frustrating.

Excellent Service! I will totally recommend their services, Ray is very knowledgeable and a nice person to work with.

My go to for all things steel

Great place, skilled welders. They work on a lot of big cool projects!

Lafayette Welding has been the place to have special jobs done for years. Nothing too small or too large!!

I brought them a lower unit from a boat motor and asked if they could weld the Skeg (lower fin) back on for me. They had it done in a day and picked up the following day. The welds looked great and should be very strong!

I wanted to customize a ladder rack for my truck. The mounts weren’t compatible with my hard cover but I figured if I were able to get the ears cut off the metal mounts I could make it work. I remembered seeing Lafayette Welding while driving so I stopped by. They took a look, said they could do what I needed. They estimated about 2 hours however they got it done in 30 mins and they looked great but more importantly they worked perfectly! I will definitely keep them in mind for any future metal needs I may have and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for help with metal or welding. Thank you Lafayette!!

I had a metal post and Hydraulic joint rooted clean off my Car Hauler trailer because of all the salt corrosion.
