This has been the third time I’ve utilized this company, in assisting with complications from a century home with an old HVAC unit. Every single time, they are punctual and follow through until they resolve the issue, regardless how long it takes, or however archaic the technology is that they’re working on. Always professional and pleasant, and economically conscious.

They really went above and beyond this weekend, getting the AC running and stabilized before the heatwave. I can’t thank you all enough!

Our AC went out on Easter weekend. House temps of 81 DEG F while hosting Easter Dinner. (You can imagine) Benji and his team came out the very next day and diagnosed the problem. Older unit, expensive refrigerant, and no guarantees that the unit didn’t give up the ghost after an expensive repair.

They laid out several options and paths forward. We have a dual fuel unit so it wasn’t just a swap out of the outside unit. We had to replace the whole system due to safety interlocks not being compatible with our old furnace.

While there were some minor miscommunication and misunderstandings of the duration of the job and how soon we could be worked into the schedule, overall the experience was positive. We hit roadblock after roadblock, but Benji was always upfront about each situation and worked tirelessly to resolve every issue. The install took the better part of four days since it was the next generation of refrigerants and had some board complications. Benji even came out on Saturday morning to check that everything was running smoothly.

With all that went on and how it was handled and resolved, Benji and his team came thru with the best they could given the circumstances that were presented. Overcoming the obstacles while dealing with customers that were understandably frustrated and HOT is not always easy.

All that to say this: our example is obviously not the norm for this business, but their response to the difficulties and staying the course to make sure the install was completed and working as fast as they could says a lot about the company’s resolve to have high standards of customer service and to deliver the best product they can.

Benji, Heath, and Sherry were all a pleasure to deal with.

Now, the system that we went with is really nice and we love how well it works. It’s still too early to tell how we will feel in a year, but so far it is superb.

Eric C was great! He arrived promptly and was professional and courteous. He was very thorough with his diagnostic and quickly repaired a broken wire. Also, he was honest when he realized it was an electrical issue and not a cooling issue with my AC. I appreciate that we discussed different options to try to find the best solution for my home.

Read all of the review: The following has been resolved, and is largely a distributor issue that the company has resolved with the Trane.
We were quoted 2 -3 weeks, then told 3 weeks. Thursday was 4 weeks, they started on Tuesday. We are now FOUR days in to what was quoted as a 1 day job, that he had scheduled for 2 days. Missing install components found on day 1 was promised by distributor on day 2, but not shipped, and not sent with high priority. It gets better! At the end of day 3 it is discovered that the part that was sent was the wrong part that the entire day was spent trying to install… so on to DAY 4. Trane ships equipment without updating the firmware, this takes hours or in our case overnight.
Benji had to come out Saturday morning (day 5) to finish the setup and system check, thanks to Trane’s update process.

Heath, the kid with him, and Benji have been understanding of our frustrations, and have worked tirelessly to make things right.

It’s easy to be a good company when everything goes right, but in times like we have had this week, being a good company when the distributor is working against you is really a noteworthy testament to the kind of business they are and the service they provide.

Excellent company to call for hvac repair. I called on a Saturday morning and the repairman showed up at the time that was given. He diagnosed the problem, but was unable to test it because of a power outage. After the repairman left, the problem still persisted when the power came back. I called and Benji had the repairman come back at the end of the day. I want to think Jared for coming back and finding out the exact problem with a fix to keep the ac going during the heat wave.

Very professional. Did answer all my questions (sorry for that). Will definitely use them again. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Variable Comfort Solutions is awesome! I have used them in the past to work on my old furnace and it finally gave out (it was over 30 years old). Called on Monday to get a quote and Benji came out that evening. By Thursday Heath came to the house and had it installed that day and came back on Friday and installed a new central AC unit. These guys are great! A special thanks to Heath, as he is great to deal with and such a professional.

I was so pleased with Variable Heating. They came as soon as they could. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, with a very positive attitude. They were very professional and just simply did a great job. I recommend them very highly and intend to use them in the future. I hope this business continues for a long time. Yhe tech serviced and fixed the problem less then the original quote and didn't try to install additional parts even though he had already ordered it.

I especially like the text notification with the picture of the technician. He was great, by the way. And our dog did like him.

We have dealt with the owner of this company previously with good experience. We needed our AC fixed right away due to over 100-degree temps with children in our house and Jared Childers did an amazing job repairing our unit at a reasonable price. Mr. Childers is also very pleasant and a nice person to deal with. So is the owner. We wish all contractors would have this candor! We highly recommend Variable for your AC needs! Thank you!

I believe they had top notch tech and had the experience and knowledge I would expect from an A++ company. Eric C. was great with the situation that I was having and really showed wisdom. I would recommend them to anyone.

My AC went out and I called Variable Comfort Solutions at 2:00. A technician was at my house by 3:00. The issue was repaired/replaced and my AC was back up and running by 4:00! I could not have asked for better/faster service! These guys are great!

The technician that came to my home was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing, all the parts that he was replacing and why they had to be replaced. He did all this in a very timely manner, actually coming to my home twice in the same day. I told him that he could come back another time, yet he insisted on completing the work that same day. I find this company very trustworthy, knowledgeable and accommodating. I wish all businesses were like this. I think Variable did a wonderful job and I would not hesitate to recommend then to family and friends. I know that when the time comes, and it will, this is who I would call to work on my heating/ cooling units.
