We started using Henningsen Property Management about 3 years ago. We had just moved in to this area and our yard was a grand mixture of weeds and grass. Today the lawn is magnificent because of the time and expertise put into making it a lawn and visitors say that our yard looks like a park. In addition the staff that shows up weekly is very professional and more importantly they are responsive to our changing vision for our yard.

I could give Henningson Property Management a bazillion gold stars for their quality yard work, leaf clean-up, follow-up and communication as I begin my first year with a landscape management company for four season services. I am confident I made the right decision after contacting other companies. They listen and they “show up” in so many ways - what any vendor should do, they do.

The HPM team was referred to us by a good friend over two years ago. We have used them for multiple projects. They do terrific work. Yesterday they came as promised, laid mulch, cleaned up entirely. It was perfect when they left. The team worked hard and were quiet and professional.

We had a French drain and then a paver walkway installed in our front yard. HPM started the job earlier than planned, and was clean, professional and communicated during the entire project. They helped with the design while leaving lots of options. The biggest standout is their knowledge of the work they do and all the little things they think about to make sure the job is complete. Shout out to Luke Henningsen for his knowledge in helping us address a critical drainage issue and help us dress up our front yard! We will definitely be using them again for future landscaping projects!

I highly recommend HPM. They did all my lawn services last summer including weekly mowing, weeding, mulching, trimming shrubs, fertilization, and leaf pick up. They were always pleasant and professional. Did an excellent job and cleaned up after they were done. When I called to request a service they were prompt. They deserve a 5 ⭐️ plus rating. As president of our Condo Association, we have used Henningsen Property Maintenance for a number of years now. We have been very pleased with their professional workmanship and attention to detail for both our Lawn & Landscape needs along with snow removal. We needed a spring cleanup with mulch and they did a fantastic job. The office is very responsive and attentive and easy to communicate with. They came out on time and our yard looks fantastic. Even our neighbors said we increased the neighborhood property values!! Highly recommend.

We didn't need much convincing at all to hire HPM to do some landscaping. It's hard to find a company that will meet my rather overly picky needs, but the HPM family made it happen. It was as simple as 1,2,3. After a easy phone call with Luke he had me text a few pictures of the areas we needed some work done, although he offered to come out in person also I didn't wanna have him make a trip if it wasn't necessary. Next we received our hassle free estimate which was well within our budget and gave the ok but asked if they could have it done by our deadline needed. A few short days later HPM showed up and got the job done one week ahead of the deadline which was awesome! The crew worked hard, were very polite, and cleaned everything up. Thanks Luke, Rachel, and the rest of the HPM crew we love the work that was done and we will highly recommend you to anyone in need of landscaping and lawn maintenance!

I reached out to HPM last year in regards to landscape design services and was very impressed with their professionalism and design. We used them for the install as well and their attention to details top notch. This year we had them come take a look at a drainage issue in another section of the property. They came up with a great solution rather than a band aid like others have recommended in the past. We never hesitate to recommend them to friends And family!

HPM did our landscaping back in 2021 and they did a fantastic job! My favorite part was the different designs they created for us to pick from. They really took into consideration what we were looking for and brought it to life. We still get compliments on our landscaping to this day.

Very happy with this company. When we purchased our property we knew that the front yard was going to need some TLC. There were tons of old rock beds with nothing planted in them and lots of dead trees. HPM came out and hauled away all the rock, planted perennials and laid mulch in the beds we were keeping, leveled the old beds and replanted seed, and buried two of our down spout drains into the ground. When they came out last fall the do the work they did a great job. The yard was cleaned up and everything looked great. Unfortunately our perennials did not do well over the winter and they had to be warrantied, but true to Luke's word all of the plants were replaced and any other problems we had were addressed right away. He was super informative and professional. I would highly recommend this company not only because they did a great job, but they were great about coming back out and replacing anything that didn't make it over the winter.

HPM has completed a number of landscaping projects for me including new garden installations, tree plantings, lawn maintenance and hedge trimming to name a few. They always do a great job and my yard looks fabulous. Their employees are always courteous, helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend them.

Extremely prompt with their quote! I was able to find them on Facebook and within hours I got my quote back for leaf removal. They were the most pocket friendly for my budget! Not only were they affordable but they had the best equipment for the job! They came and removed ALL of my leaves off my hugely wooded property. They did such a great Job my next door neighbor grabbed their card. They also got a $100 tip from my husband and I.

I have used HPM for landscaping and snow removal at all my Milwaukee Area Arby’s properties for the last several years. They made sure they tailored their services to exactly what we needed and have been very flexible with different needs that have come up. They have done a fantastic job and are the most professional landscaping team that I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is amazing and that means everything to me being in the hospitality business. I also used HPM at my home residence for a major drainage project. That also turned out great! Awesome Job HPM team and I look forward to many more years of a great business relationship!

Absolutely the most beautiful petunia planter I’ve ever had. Underneath all those beautiful blooms are a watering can. These folks couldn’t be nicer or more professional. Lovely people and beautiful plants.

I grew up with a mom who would spend hours in her flower gardens. I spent many hours talking with mom in the garden. I lost my mom in Sept 2023 to a long battle of cancer. In her memory, I had HPM come and help design some of my own beautiful gardens. HPM has been amazing to work with. They were respectful of my budget and goals, their communication has been timely and professional, and their work turned out beautiful. I look forward to putting out some of my moms garden decorations and enjoying memories. I would highly recommend them for your garden projects.

Last Fall I received two quotes to have my sump pump discharge hose buried from the front of the house to the street and connected to the city catch basin which was approved before receiving quotes. Both quotes were comparable but went with HPM landscaping in Big Bend because the owner said their focus was on customer service, they had experience with this type of job and they were like "ninja's", after the work was completed you would have never known they were there. Unfortunately, it was not the case for all three selling points. They started the project a lot later than stated upon hiring them. After the first inspection we were informed the incorrect materials were used. Upon their return to make any changes, we were told it was to cold to complete the job and they decided to cover the trench with plywood for the winter. Again this couldve been avoided if the job was started earlier as stated. I reached out in the spring to keep the project moving along because I hadn't heard any updates. After the next inspections certain fittings needed to be changed, additional clean out added, pipes needed to be buried deeper, pipes back pitched towards the house needed to be corrected and the hole they drilled in the catch basin was in the wrong spot. In addition to all of these issues, the pipe they glued from the house to their connection came unglued and disconnected from the house. This caused a big muddy mess because my sump pump runs often. I had to run to Menards to find a temporary fix .The job was finally completed a few months ago and most recently I reached out through email to let them know that I had a lot of bare spots and deep cracks if they could come out and fix it. They responded with a quote to aerate and overseed at my cost. I mentioned that I wasn't looking for a new quote but to get this fixed correctly if they could let me know when they had time to meet with me which I only live 15 minutes away. Waited a few days with no response so sent another message asking for a phone call and expressed my frustration with the lack of customer service. They responded with an email that the job was completed and approved by the city months ago and any other additional work would be at my cost. I did reach out to the city and they confirmed that the back filling, top soil and seeding they do not approve that I would have to work with the landscaper to get that corrected. Believe it or not there were other issues with this project that I didn't mention but I will move on and roto till the entire area, bring in more dirt and add seed.If you look back at a lot of their responses to not getting back to customers for quotes it's never their fault.

Went to the HPM greenhouse with my kids to buy Mother's Day flowers for Mom and grandma. The greenhouse was beautiful, great selection of flowers and great prices. The staff is very helpful, answered all of our questions, and stuck around to help us select the plants that met our needs. Highly recommended!

I couldn't recommend HPM enough. I reached out about some yard cleanup work (some SERIOUS yard clean up) and the guy who came out to do the quote was extremely knowledgeable. He knew every plant, every weed, and had some good suggestions on stuff I hadn't considered. They got me on the calendar just over a week after I signed off on the SOW, got the work completely quickly, and everything looks great. They also were, in my opinion, the most reasonable of all the quotes I got. Not the cheapest but I'm glad I went with them because the work is immaculate.

2 month post work update: Make sure you look at every single word of the contract with HPM before agreeing to work. They performed the work quickly and were done in a day and a half but upcharged me 10% of the original contract for work performed that was initially talked about and suggested by the HPM representative at the time of scoping (and took no additional time since the work was performed by crew members who were on their phones when I asked them about it and in 20 minutes while waiting for the third member to return with mulch) but apparently not included in the SOW. Additionally, some of the weeds and plants they suggested additional treatment for to "remove them completely going forward" weren't actually removed. They were all cut down to the root and immediately grew back vs proper removal. This also explains why they were done so quickly. The last item I'd make note on is the plants they suggested purchasing from them died within a week of planting despite daily watering and care

I brought all of these points up to the HPM team and their response was "weeds grow back and we don't guarantee our plants beyond installation". I understand that weeds and plants grow back but when I'm paying $5,000 for a day and a half of work, I'd expect results for longer than 2 weeks and proper removal of brush, weeds, and tree saplings when the all the verbiage from the HPM reps made it sound they'd like be properly removed and I'd only have to worry about new weeds coming in the rest of the year.

Responses from HPM about my concerns are attached, including their original suggestion about "complete eradication of grass moving forward", grass that wasn't actually removed and came back and immediately grew through their installed mulch within 7 days.
