Sam did a great job on our kitchen/great room electrical work in Brookfield. This was a complete remodel which required a lot of new wiring and
relocating outlets/fixtures including work within our new kitchen cabinets. Sam is very pleasant and easy to work with. He provided some great suggestions to make our lighting/switches very functional. We will use Sam again for other projects and would strongly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable.

Sam, from Hometown Electric, was wonderful! He was very professional in all aspects of the job. At our initial meeting, Sam explained in detail what the work would involve and when it would be scheduled. He answered our questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, so we knew what to expect. A few days before the work was to begin, Sam texted us with updates and to see if we had any additional questions. That's the way to run a business!
The installation of the electrical panel, wiring, and outdoor outlet, for our new generator, went very smoothly! Sam arrived on time; did the work carefully and correctly, (as a Master Electrician would); and he did a great job of cleaning up his work area when he finished. When he was done, he took the time to show and explain the finished work, answering any questions.

We talked extensively on the phone before the appointment was set and he asked many questions so that he would have a full understanding of what was needed for the Job.
Our request was to have Six flush mount lights installed in the kitchen and a ceiling fan in the family room where there had not been a fixture before.

The appointment was set, and Sam arrived exactly when he said he would. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and even swept up any mess made from cutting holes in the drywall.

I’m extremely pleased with the work done and his prices were reasonable. I will definitely call him again for any electrical work that I need done in the future.

Sam was absolutely the best. He installed a mechanical interlock on my circuit breaker, helped find the best spot for the inlet to plug my generator into and added an outside outlet for my patio. Super friendly and did extra legwork to get the right part for me. 100% would hire again.

Sam was awesome to work with from the start! You could tell he really cared about what we wanted done, and wanting to go about it the right way. We had recessed lighting installed, as well as several ceiling fans. Communication and professionalism were top notch the whole way. Sam was incredibly responsive in our initial conversations. He gave me a very realistic quote and showed up on time. He was incredibly professional and very easy to work with. We had new outlets put in the basement and an overhead light attached to a switch in a bedroom. Sam was quick and efficient and the work looks great. He also went out of his way to help with an additional problem I hadn’t realized. Will be highly recommending him for jobs both big and small.

Sam was fantastic from the moment he picked up the call through the moment service was fulfilled. He was accurate in his estimate, great communicator, on time, put forth quality work, developed great solutions to some challenges we encountered, ran everything by me, delivered solutions that met my needs and had minimal affect to the surrounding areas. The job came in under budget and took the amount of time I expected it to. There is no doubt I would hire him again for residential electrical work. Simon did a 40 A wire from control panel to my garage and installed 220 Volt outlet for my EV charger. Very clean and professional work performed. Ism very happy.

Sam was so quick and efficient to install ceiling fans in all of our rooms. He is so knowledgeable, offers helpful advice, great with communication, and his prices are extremely reasonable. We used him again later for another electrical project after the ceiling fans. Highly recommend!

Would give 0/5 stars for customer support and punctuality if I could. No work was ever completed, as they cancelled on me 4 separate days. Cannot comment on the work itself, as nothing was ever actually done…again because no one ever showed up.

The electrician was able to get out to us quickly, he knew exactly what he was doing and was very informative, he was very kind and personable and fairly priced as well! I would recommend their services to my friends and family, and they are the only electricians we will ever use!!

Had one set of lights and outlets that did not work. Identified the issues but could not fix it. Did keep me updated on the price because $180 an hour adds up. Told me he would keep looking for the issue but could run $1000 to $2000. I ended up just having him stop. He seemed frustrated at the end. On time came out same day. Up front about cost.

We needed an electrician. They asked us to pay $250 upfront. The electrician came but we never received a quote. Everyday we called they said we would get it by the end of the day. It never happened. I believe this is a scam site in order to collect upfront monies. Don't fall for it!

Electrician was horribly grumpy. No easy to talk to and way overcharged to run some wires through an existing channel. We had a hot tub before and a new one being installed. New wires just needed install and was charged 1100.00 . Unfortunately it is hard to get an electrician during Covid as most all are booked. I would not recommend or use this company ever again.

The guys that provided the service were pleasant and helpful and did a good job. The problem I had was with the cost. First of all there were two guys when it should have taken only one-a very simple job. The part they had to buy to complete the job was probably $15-$20 and the charge was $350 which means the remainder must have been labor which must have included going to the store to buy the part. In conclusion I was all right with the service but very disappointed with the cost.

Called at 12:43 pm on a Sunday, which is a regular workday for them, I was told. They charge $300 for service call, but I needed prompt service because of a possible short circuit (burnt smell).

Was told a tech would call me in 2.5 hours. After 3 hours, I called back and was told the tech would call me soon. A 5:15 pm, I called again to tell them I assumed no one was coming. Was told the tech had to leave unexpectedly and that he could come tomorrow. I said don't bother.

What an unprofessional, amateur operation. Their positive Google ratings and reviews are highly suspect. Had I known they wouldn't show or even bother to call me, I could've hired another company and had the problem fixed hours ago. Avoid Empire if you're smart.
