L & C Heating, specifically Mike, was extremely great to work with. He responded quickly, was obviously experienced & knowledgeable, and honest. He also took the time to explain to me what he was looking at and how the boiler should be working. He restored my trust after being recently burned by a different company. I’ll definitely be calling L & C Heating again for any future repairs or maintenance on my boiler.

Our neighbor/friend went to check the internet in our cabin after power outage since we were unable to be there. He discovered the furnace wasn’t working. I called L & C. It was Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Figured I’d have to leave message. Mike answered while DEER HUNTING! He said it was getting dark & he’d be over shortly. He was able to coordinate with our friend (also a customer) & they went to the cabin. Mike quickly took care of the issue & heat was restored. Can’t tell you what a relief that was! We’ve been clients for a long time & will continue to be.They’re so easy to deal with in the Northwoods where it’s so difficult to get service people to come out. I’d give them more than 5 stars, if possible. THANK YOU,, Mike!

02/2026-We had a new furnace installed. Positive experience from start to finish, Mike was informative when reviewing options, Lucas was courteous and professional during install, which went quickly and smoothly. We felt pricing was fair for the higher end furnace we had installed.

Professional! Knowledgeable! Reliable! and so very merciful and understanding! The owner, Mike, promptly returned my call after my boiler suddenly stopped working this fall. He swung by between jobs to see if he could fix it quickly (no luck). The next week he had an estimate ready and lots of options, after lots of explaining, and a very open mind to different replacement avenues, I contracted with L&C. When the replacement boiler arrived.... alas, it was possibly damaged inside the panel from shipping when he started to install it, and he didn't want to take any chances. No freak outs (I have witnessed some techs lose it over the littlest stuff) and not even a swear word, no suggestions to just cross our fingers either, just a simple, "well, darn, the best thing to do is send this one back...," rescheduling, and plenty of updates as I waited for the new one. I never had to call and remind, never had to ask for clarifications, and never had to even ask for mercy not having a functioning boiler in freezing October. Because he and his team were very booked, they couldn't just fit me in, so he came over on a Saturday, early early morning because he had to attend a wedding in the afternoon (I am not even kidding, how nice and hard working is that!), to install the replacement Navien unit. I had a couple other heating companies give me an estimate, but their estimates included lower quality units and were one thousand dollars more! I don't think this company was cheap, and in fact it was a whole lot of money, but when I saw how much the other companies were, and researched the units they quoted, I got a helluva deal! My new boiler is warranty for 15 years, fully! has one of hte best reputations, and can only be ordered by plumbing/heating contractors, not some big-box supply house (like Me-nar-ds) or low-quality stuff from wholesale houses. I definitely recommend these guys as a whole, but I mostly worked with the owner, who sort of reminded me of talking to my dad and asking for advice, that sort of vibe, like a very honest conversation about quality parts, how things work these days, and what I can do to take care of things the best way. Good hearted owner and trustworthy interactions, with the overall experience as highly knowledgeable professional.

I felt confident in their expertise and would recommend them for any heating and cooling solutions.
