We first engaged Jeremy to replace our deck floor but as Jeremy helped us look into what was really needed for the project, the scope quickly expanded due to a previous owner's neglect. Jeremy is easy to work with, very knowledgable and willing to share his expertise. We ended up with a completely rebuilt deck and we can't wait to use it this summer.

Jeremy did a wonderful job replacing my garage service door. He was very efficient and timely. I was very impressed by his work.

All professions have different quality providers. Burkham built is the top of the remodeling class. Artistic in design, reliable and conscientious are the watch words that drives this business. If you want quick and cheap Burkham Built is not for you. If you want quality and professionalism that is why you would hire this company. They have completed multiple projects for me and each one exceeded expectations. Call them you won’t be disappointed, in fact delighted is the correct word.

Jeremy has done several jobs for me and, at this point, I won't even bother calling all over town seeking to, maybe/maybe not, save a nickel with a different company and risk questionable results. I know Jeremy will get the job done right. The man has the soul of an artist and that shines through in each project.
It all started with a bathroom floor, then removing the squeak from a living room floor....and adding gorgeous new maple woodwork. Then came a kitchen remodel. That was followed by a new entry and storm door set, plus better safety railings.

This year's project was the largest to date: removing the 102-year-old cedar shakes and replacing them with new cedar. I was thinking paint, like the old ones, until Jeremy noted that stained shakes require far less maintenance and are also prettier. His crew stained each new shake individually, by hand. It took them halfway to forever to accomplish all that. Then they applied them individually as well (that's a lot of shakes!), being mindful to mix shake sizes and tones. It looks gorgeous, so beautiful. I have had total strangers---in addition to my neighbors--- stop me in the yard to comment about how it looks, what a nice job they did.

When my local woodpeckers began making holes in the new shakes, because that's what woodpeckers like to do, Jeremy and his guys came back to hang "scare tape" for me as a deterrent. They even did that artistically! I have also followed the other advice of Dan Pannetti from Wild Birds Unlimited to get the woodpeckers interested in something other than the house. If you have wood, you need to be prepared for dealing with woodpeckers. Painted or stained doesn't matter to them.

My next project will be repainting the aluminum siding on the first floor because, unfortunately, the work on the shakes left the aluminum siding looking beat up. I bet you can guess who I'll entrust my home to for that work.

Jeremy restored our two story porch on our 1924 home. Burkham built was dependable, timely and the work is high quality. We are super happy with handcrafted railing he built and the whole job.

We recently got our master bath remodeled from Jeremy. He is fantastic, gives lot of good suggestions, very professional, clean, quality work and excellent finish. Our project was finished on the estimated time that we signed on the contract. Would highly recommend him and would hire him again for our guest bath down the line in future.

Our first project with Burkham Built was a rebuild of our porch on our old house back in 2011. Since then they have done many other projects for us from bathroom remodel to a huge renovation/remodel of our current house. Through every project they have been thorough and professional. Jeremy took out an interior wall, build an interior window between rooms, hung some new interior doors, and installed a gorgeous new maple floor in the first floor of my old and lopsided house, plus a couple of other small things that had been bugging me for months. He did a beautiful job. He shows incredible attention to detail, he has a great eye for design, and he's so easy to work with. The electrician he brought to the house even fixed something that wasn't part of the project. This is the second project he's done for me - as long as he's still available I wouldn't entrust work in my house to anyone else.

Burkham Built has completed two major projects at my home. I would hire Jeremy again for all future needs. His craftsmanship, communication and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. 5 stars are not enough.

These guys were great! They brought our basement ceiling/bathroom floor joists up to code (the previous owners cut into them from the bottom in order to install some plumbing— yikes!). They were really nice and gave us a thorough explanation of what needed to happen, two job/price choices and a recommendation. They also overestimated how long it would take and what it would cost and ended up leaving early and giving us $200 back. I’m keeping their number in case we’d need them in the future; I’d hire them again for sure.

Jeremy and his crew have done a number of projects at our house, from custom carpentry to a complete bathroom remodel. I’m always impressed with the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Jeremy himself is easygoing and a good communicator. I would and have hired them again and again.

Worked with Jeremy to execute on a design I had for our baby girl’s nursery. Working with him was a dream. He was very flexible with the plans and brought to life exactly what I envisioned for a reading nook and custom closet doors. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product and look forward to working together on future projects.

Our 120-year-old Victorian home’s original front porch was sagging and needed rebuilding. It was extremely difficult to find someone who was willing to invest the time and effort to restore it to its full glory, and we didn’t think we could find someone until we saw Jeremy and his crew working a block and a half from us in our neighborhood.
After consulting with him about our project, he utilized his artistic background and talent to develop ideas and hand drawn sketches to restore our porch to full restoration. Jeremy made himself and his crew available to complete our project within a few months and before the end of the year.

Jeremy built a back porch/deck and shed roof that exceeded our expectations. We had an initial design created by an architect that he improved upon. Jeremy is a talented craftsman, excellent communicator and an all around great person. He has meticulous attention to detail. We could not be more pleased with our primary bathroom renovation. Jeremy & his crew turned a tiny, dark, eye sore of a primary bathroom into a bright, beautiful & much more spacious space. They came across road blocks at every turn given our home's age (1965), but managed to bring our vision to life. Our shower more than doubled in size & the new configuration of the space makes so much more sense than the way it was originally built. Jeremy was super responsive, collaborative & very creative in his ideas and suggestions. We would HIGHLY recommend working with him & his team.
