We had a carpet that needed replacement in our master bedroom and reached out to three companies for estimates.

Hunts was referred to us by a friend and they were very responsive. The quote was reasonably priced and they were easy to work with so we went with them for the job. The work they did was efficient and excellent! We are really happy with the carpet and workmanship and plan to use them for the rest of the flooring in the house!

Horrible customer service. Attitude from the minute I walked in. If your needs dont fit his inventory he makes you fileel like your product is less superior and in his words, garbage. Didnt even care to find out why i jeeded this particular item. No help offered. Left within 5. Will not return

As a residential contractor, it's so important to have good suppliers - Hunt's is definitely our go-to for flooring. They're knowledgeable, friendly and provide excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Just had some flooring installed in my kitchen and dining room and my experience was that they were knowledable, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I don’t know if a chain store would have been cheaper but when you’re making a big purchase, having confidence in the organization doing the work is worth spending a few hundred dollars more-especially for someone who has years of experience in the industry.

Decent customer service when buying carpet, terrible customer service after the install. We bought very expensive carpet and were told it was stain proof. Well, it isn't. We were told the carpet we chose was anso-nylon and was fade and stain proof. It is faded and discolored in a large area and Hunt's said it would go away after a professional cleaning, however it is now as bad or worse after the professional cleaning. They told me to never call the actual carpet manufacturer with issues but at this point I have no choice. Also, the hardwood floor Hunt's installed is apparently "cupping" according to the manager at the store. He claimed my house had too much humidity which was causing both warped floor boards as well as creaking floors. I bought 2 very expensive dehumidifiers to fix the problem....turns out there was not a problem. My home is brand new and is as dry as a bone, not humid as they claimed. Now we have $600 in 2 dehumidifiers we didn't need at all. I called to complain and got the run around, now after several attempts to contact them, my calls are being ignored. At this point we are going elsewhere in the hopes another flooring company can fix the problems created and ignored by Hunt's. Buyer beware.

Took my mom to Hunts from referral from a friend of owner ( Phil ) in early 2021. She picked out samples with help from Phil according to him which ones would work with her needs. He told her the ones she picked out would be around $2800. Ended up she switched laminate but kept tile originally picked. He had told us that the laminate she originally picked was top of the line in laminates. Then came the game of excuse after excuse from Phil. He would say he had it in , then he didn't. When finally installation came Dylan did a good job on installing flooring. When job was finished there was gaps left under doorways . Phil said she should just put caulk and paint it! She told him she wanted it fixed because that is not how it looked before floor was installed! By the way the job wasn't completely finished until December! And then he charged her $4300!!!

BUYERS BEWARE OF DEALING WITH THE OWNER ( PHIL ) HE WILL LIE TO YOU, NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS, CHARGE FOR THINGS NOT USED (corner rounds), AND RIP YOU OFF!!!

If you're looking for a great price and great selection don't look any further... my wife and I had bought carpet from Phil and it was the best price in the area in the install was fast and professional. What I like the most about them is that it was a no-pressure environment and I can't say that for a lot of the other companies in the surrounding area that we went to. Keep up the great work

My fiance and I spent over a month trying to find the right flooring for our new house. We went everywhere and had a very hard time finding something. Given we had a budget, many stores scoffed at us when we walked in and they found out we didn't want to spend $8/sqft on wood flooring. Other places like Home Depot and Lowes lacked the style and choices we were craving...not to mention a severe lack of customer service as well. We were just about ready to settle when a real estate developer told us to try Hunt's Flooring in West Allis. From the moment we walked in, Tony and the rest of the staff quickly turned the frustration of picking a floor into a very enjoyable experience!

Right from the start it felt different than the other stores we went into...it felt "right!" Tony warmly greeted us and got a feel for the project we had at hand. He eagerly educated us on different types of flooring, happily accepting the terms of our budget, and steered us in the right direction of the products he offered...which were very plentiful! Tony seemed eager to share his craft...Want to "hear" the difference between a floated vs. nailed down floor? Visit this place just for that amazing experience! What we valued most about Hunt's is that, right from the start, we felt like they valued us as a customer of their store. Before we even started to commit to purchasing something from them, the staff spent a lot of time helping us find the right product for our project...and also allowed us to have alone time searching and talking, free from salesman tactics or distractions. We never felt like we were getting "sold" to...and that was SO refreshing!

When we finally did find something we loved and ordered it from them, the customer service didn't stop. Given our budget and my love of projects, I planned on installing the floor by myself. Many other stores, we quickly discovered, dissuade their customers from DIY. Tony was excited we were installing the floor by ourselves, and went out of his way to give us tips and tools to use throughout our project!

If we ever need any flooring solution ever again, we will, hands-down, begin our search at Hunt's Flooring. What's more, we HIGHLY recommend anyone in the same boat as us to do the same!!
