We have used Boulder Hills Landscaping for disposing of yard waste (grass clippings, downed limbs, etc.) as well as Christmas tree removal for the past 3 years. They have been reliable and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Cancelled on me the first appointment due to forecasted rain for the afternoon. Wasnt raining at the time of my appointment and I politely rescheduled to a new date/time they picked. Even though I had taken time off work for the first early afternoon appointment. Next appointment comes around they call me 2 hrs before appointment and ask me to move it up. I said I couldn't due to my work schedule. Guy then says he needed to reschedule again due to his brother coming in on a flight at 5pm. Learn how to manage your own schedule before I'd give u my hard earned money to manage a landscaping project.

I would highly Boulder Hills. They put in a patio for us a couple of years ago and were timely, professional, and provided a high quality product. Joe, the owner, takes great pride in his work and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the end result.

I used Boulder Hills for some tree trimming/clearing. They came out to provide an in person quote after assessing the yard and trees/shrubs that needed attention. When they came to do the job (arriving late btw) they told me last minute that one of the trees would not be possible to trim or take down, which was pretty frustrating since it was the main tree that needed attention. I also walked around my yard with them explaining which areas needed the most attention or were my highest priority. They left unannounced after a couple hours and I realized they had really only completed half the job and left multiple trees and shrubs untrimmed. Then I got the bill and it was more than the high end of the quote I was given, for half the work! I do not doubt that work that was done that day as I know brush was removed, but I don't understand why the quote was so far off or why there was no offer of rescheduling a second visit to complete the job. I know in comparison to everything else they do this was a small job, but why would the quote be off by almost $600? Disappointed as I had interest to use them for bigger projects in my yard.

Joe and his team did an exceptional job of listening and creating a vision for our entry way. Highly recommend as this is a company with integrity and will work until customer is 100% happy.

We worked with Boulder Hills Landscaping in the late summer 2017. Joe had said that it would take up to a year for our project to grow and look nice. It was about a year when one of the big trees Joe and his team planted completely died and some of the grasses that were put in we’re not growing. So we reached out to Joe and his company to put in a new tree and get advice for the grass (summer 2018) He would not return our phone call. It’s now been two summers we’ve tried to reach him and his company and he has not called us back (spring 2019) No one ever answers at his company it just rings and goes to voice mail. It says on vm your call will be returned promptly, but it has never been returned in two years of trying and there is never an answer at the company phone. Very disappointing- at this point I wouldn’t recommend them.

We had 2 sitting walls installed on our patio recently. Joseph was great to work with throughout the design process and his crew did outstanding work. I would highly recommend this company.

Boulder Hills Landscaping designed and built a beautiful patio for our home. The design fits perfectly with our farmhouse. There wasn’t any extra clean up for us after the job was finished and they finished in a timely manner. We love our patio!

Two years ago I had landscaping done at the front of my property by Boulder Hills so when I decided I needed another patio with privacy trees, on the side of my house it was a no brainer. I went directly to Boulder and my new patio looks fantastic! I’ve received many compliments over the past couple of months. It got off to a rocky start because the weather wouldn’t cooperate but once it did the project took off and was finished in about 3 days! They even came back the next month and cleaned up all the crushed rock they accidently left behind! All the guys were very professional, respectful, and patiently answered my questions. Joe even showed up to help when on one of the days they were short-handed. I was also in the market for a new garden hose and they recommended some options (who knew there were different types out there). I bought the one they recommended and luv it. It wasn’t very expensive and It made watering my newly planted trees so much easier. Thanks guys. I could go on and on … I’m so happy with their work. So, if you’re in the market for some landscaping, check out Joe Moelter and Boulder Hills FIRST! You’ll be glad you did!
