Just called this company about having a washer dryer installed. He was very short with me and wanted to charge way more than what I have found the customary amount to be. I requested also that two ceiling fans be installed at the same time and he stated that would be an additional 3 weeks out. I get that everyone is busy however, not very customer service oriented.

Rare to have a wonderful experience from beginning to end these days, except when working with JRB Electric. From the day we received our quote through the day all work was completed, Jason and his team provided us with professionalism and the highest of quality. We could not be happier. JRB Electric was given to us via a referral, who we owe a BIG thank you to.

The JRB team installed a new Kohler 20KW whole house generator for us the 2nd week of December 2022. They arrived shortly after 8:00 AM and completed the install by 5:00 PM. My wife and I are extremely pleased with their knowledge and skilled craftsmanship exhibited during the installation, I was present and assisted with any questions they had. We selected JRB and Kohler after reading many positive reviews about both. Two thumbs up. Wayne F.

During a July 2023 power interruption the Kohler generator operated for over 41 hours without any issues. A most worthwhile investment. The outage was caused by high winds and fallen trees on the power lines. Thank you again JRB and Kohler!!!

Had a generator installed in August of 2022, they did good work but communication is clearly not Jason's strong point. No support after the sale either. Coming up on our 1st yearly maintenance and can't get a hold of by phone and won't answer emails. Typical contractor..

Update for anyone else who can't get Jason to come out and do your annual maintenance. I used Electrical Connections LLC in Wales, WI.
It was easy to set up an appointment, because they have someone on the payroll that just answers the phones. What a revolutionary idea...

We have a hundred year old house that needed significant updating. Bob did an amazing job of snaking wires through the house. Not an easy job. He is very precise in his work and a pleasure to work with. When it came to outdoor work, Jason arrived with an impressive array of equipment needed to complete the job. Would highly recommend this company.

JRB did an outstanding job installing a Kohler Generator. They were timely and addressed all my concerns. They spent time with me showing me the fine points of the product. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We always call Jason when we need anything done. JRB responds quickly and efficiently. Always friendly service. From faulty outlets to outdoor lamp posts. They even did tuck pointing and some masonry work for us. Our go to electrician.

JRB Electric installed my generator two years ago and it was a flawless experience. Since installation, they have continued to monitor the system and perform annual maintenance. They are outstanding with showing up on time, staying on budget and leaving the area clean and looking untouched. I highly recommend them.

Had a Kohler home generator installed by JRB about a year ago, they were knowledgeable and experienced, and gave prompt service when the one year service came due.

I would like to say they do good work but, I don't know. I have spent the better part of two months trying to get them to come out and service my Kohler generator. Stayed home multiple times for "appointments" only to have them not show. Must be nice to be so busy that you can blow off customers.

Update: Thank you for the reply. I question if someone really tried to come out and fix it. We are one of five houses in a new development. Kind of hard to miss the house. Also, I received no phone call, voicemail, or text message from anyone at your company. Since I was waiting for you to arrive, if he had called, I would have answered.

Jason and his team were very professional and polite. They were able to schedule us immediately after another Electrician had to cancel at last minute. He wired our storage building, new hot tub and installed new outside ceiling fan on our porch. We could not ask for better service and so glad we found him. A shout out to Jason's mom who responded to my husband's inquiry very quickly and got us in contact with Jason. Love working with family owned businesses.

I wish owner was more communicative since I have so much more electrical work I would trust him to do. I’ve been forced to reach out to other providers.
Aside from communication, Jason is personable in person (explained the installation and use of the Kohler back-up generator he installed until my wife and I understood it well). He and his technician buttoned up the work very well and left the job site like they were never there - CLEAN.
I regret having to move on to another provider for generator maintenance and other electrical work we need - still, I recommend his expertise.

JRB Electric installed a 20kW KOHLER WHOLE HOUSE GENERATOR for us in February 2022. They were meticulous, professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the installation. They did comprehensive electrical work inside and outside, gas line plumbing (also inside and outside) and generator placement that required a backhoe to level the frozen ground. JRB is a ***GOLD LEVEL*** Kohler Power dealer for sales, service and installation serving all of southeastern Wisconsin.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because it took 5 months to get on the schedule after committing to the project and writing a check for a down payment of almost $7,000 dollars. I really started to worry ***BUT*** their workmanship was incomparable once they finally got here. Bob, Leif and Jason were all amazing tradesmen and really know their stuff. They worked long days without any down time and they are all wonderful people who deserve your business.

Jason and his staff at JRB Electric did a great job installing my Kohler generator. Installation was completed in 1 day and the generator has already prevented several loss of powers at our home. I do recommend JRB if you are interested in a standby generator.

JRB are a bunch of hacks and should not be in business. They installed a Kohler Generator at our house 4+ years ago, never registered the product for warranty, and now I we have out of pocket cost due to their inability to do their jobs properly. JRB ran the gas line illegally, tore up our yard with a frontend loader and never repaired, and never mounted the generator to the pad. Not once in 4+ years have they followed up on their work, as they said they promised, and do not respond to calls or emails. This clown show need to go out of business. I have filed complaints with Kohler, the BBB, and am looking into legal action against these people. Stay away from JRB Electric.

Finished Basement job including all electrical needed. Wired Bathroom fan, lights, switches, & outlets. Wired 30+ electrical outlets. Several multi way switches. A ton of can lights. They did a great job and were very professional. All done to code.

Reason for 3 stars is after several weeks of trying to get them to come back to finish the job after drywall, they were "too busy". Spoke with the owner several times, only to get the same "too busy" response. So we had to go with another company to come out and finish his work. We would have liked it to all be done by the same company. Makes me wish I would have just went with a different company for the whole job.

Jason was great. Came out next day for an estimate and worked us into his schedule quickly. Very reasonable price also. Would definitely recommend and use again.
