Paul and the Blue Terra Team took our outdated kitchen with builder grade golden oak cabinets and Formica countertops and created a wonderful modern kitchen with quality cherry cabinets stained a beautiful warm pecan and a statement island topped with Cambria quartz. Not only is our kitchen beautiful but it is much more functional. They designed a longer and wider island with easy to access pull out drawers. The cabinets now go to the ceiling creating more space. Our bar area is now beautiful and makes a statement. We kept the same layout but our kitchen looks much larger and functions better.
Paul and Alycia worked with us on all the design aspects from the cabinet design and color, countertop pattern and color, and flooring choice, to the backsplash tiles and handle pulls. They answered all our questions and put up with my indecisiveness until the design choices were just right for us. They also created 3-D pictures so you could envision the new design in your kitchen.

Paul arranged for all the subcontractors who were very professional and did high quality work.
The entire crew respected our home, did an amazing job and the results show the professionalism and pride they put into what they do.
We were given a work manual that showed the technical design and included what work would be done on a given day/ week. Jesse and Jim were perfectionists and everything went according to plan. We are grateful to everyone at Blue Terra and love our new kitchen.

I can not say enough about Paul and Alycia and the Blue Terra crew. From the moment we walked into their shop, we knew we had found our kitchen remodel partners. We have heard so many nightmare stories of remodels gone wrong due to sloppy contractors. Not so with Blue Terra. They are meticulous, attentive, precise and professional. Alycia was so responsive to all of my questions and requests – she was so helpful and attentive. I can’t stress this enough – she was so prompt with answering all of our questions and made the whole process so seamless. I would recommend Blue Terra to anyone – happy to provide a reference to anyone.

I fully recommend Blue Terra(BT)! I will break it down by categories that I think most folks are interested in:
Scope of work: new cabinets, flooring, counter and interior doors. This included plumbing, electrical and painting relative to the overall job
Quality: Aaron the carpenter and ALL of the subcontractors were detail oriented and perfectionists. They did such quality work and cleaned up after themselves. I even contracted the painter after the job to use him to paint mg living room.
Cost: the only comparator is what my neighbor paid for a kitchen remodel and the cost for this job was 25k less.
Schedule: they finished on time and at budget. This job went from 8/23 to 10/27
Overall: we absolutely love the job BT did and the end result. I think we all hear horror stories of contractors taking the money and running. Not even close with this group. They are honest, responsible and responsive. If there were issues they took care of them and made it right. They were fair and reasonable (but so was I). I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again and would be happy to tell you all about it. You get what you pay for. I liked that they are a small outfit, but growing. Kay, the designer made such a beautiful design. Paul the owner put his stamp on things but Kay was my primary contact and she was great. They both are calm and accommodating and the folks they work with are perfectionists. These are the folks with the work ethic you expect and hope to get when you contract a job . These folks are professionals. I totally recommend them. My kitchen is amazing.

Roughly a year ago, Blue Terra completed my kitchen remodel. I have zero regrets. Everybody who works for them, including the contractors (floor installers, electricians, plumbers) did a fantastic job and were more than courteous in my house.

If you're thinking about updating your kitchen, you probably love to cook. And it was stressful not having that option during this process. But from the design to the demolition to the re-build, Blue Terra keeps you in the loop, shares the timelines, and always answers your questions promptly.

There is also a lot of flexibility in terms of which appliances you go with. Blue Terra doesn't try to sell you anything, which is nice. All I did was send them the dimensions for the stove, fridge, and dishwasher and they took care of the rest.

If you're going to renovate your kitchen, I highly recommend Blue Terra!

Blue Terra did a complete renovation of my kitchen. I am extremely pleased with the results! Paul and his team were professional, courteous and on top of everything. They were knowledgeable, informative and attentive to detail.

We had a very positive experience working with Paul and his team on our kitchen remodel. Our project was fairly extensive and required some creativity and custom solutions, and the Blue Terra team excelled on all challenges. They managed the project well, and were conscientious in maximizing the functionality of our kitchen throughout demolition/construction. Paul is skilled, honest, cost conscious, and trustworthy, and so are his team members; we felt very at ease with having them working in our home. I'd recommend Blue Terra to others.

With Blue Terra’s help, our kitchen renovation turned out to be a fun and satisfying experience. We needed to update our kitchen with new cabinets, countertop, and backsplash, but being design-challenged, we were not really looking forward to the process. After working with a large remodel company for another project, we decided we wanted to work with a smaller company on this project. We met with Paul and Alycia and were convinced they would be personally invested and involved in the project. They were very patient and did a great job of helping us narrow down our choices to ultimately make decisions with which we are very happy. Thanks to their design help and their attention to detail, our kitchen looks wonderful. Their crew was prompt, neat, friendly to our pets, and always happy to answer any questions. We highly recommend them and will be giving Blue Terra a call when we get around to remodeling the master bathroom!

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Blue Terra. The kitchen remodel has completely transformed our house and Paul and Alycia were very accommodating, while working within our desired timeline and budget. Their advice and ability to navigate the intricacies of our existing kitchen and desired outcome was truly amazing. They even let us handle a portion of the demo work ourselves! We enjoyed the process so much that we are now working with them on a new bathroom project.

Blue Terra is an excellent local company to work with. I originally thought they might be too expensive, but Paul recommended a quality line of cabinetry that made my project doable. Moreover, while many companies only bid a project that they control from start to finish, I greatly appreciated Blue Terra's willingness to work with me as I acted as general contractor, doing some of the work myself. In that regard, they willing gave their help and advice when I needed it and were very flexible with scheduling when my timeline changed because of product delays. Their communication throughout the project was excellent. Paul, Alicia, and their finish carpenters took great pride in making my kitchen and family room remodel turn out the way I envisioned it. I highly recommend Blue Terra.

Five stars is not enough to explain how happy we are with the experience we had with Blue Terra. We had originally worked with another company but the estimate came in double our budget. After this experience we felt our kitchen would not be possible. Paul at Blue Terra made us feel our kitchen remodel was as important to him as much as is it was to us in our first meeting with him. He worked with us to be able to design a kitchen that would fit our needs and wants while staying well within budget. Some of the suggestions he had we were unsure of, but those are now some of our favorite features in the kitchen. The professionalism and work completed by the entire team at Blue Terra was outstanding. We highly recommend them to everyone.

We used Blue Terra Design for a complete remodeling of our kitchen, replace flooring for much of our first floor, getting rid of popcorn ceiling, and new plumbing & fixtures, plus new lighting.

Kay did the new design for our kitchen. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, we could not expand the size of our kitchen. Kay's design has made the kitchen layout more efficient and gave us more countertop space, more storage space, and little efficiencies with the cabinets to make my kitchen seem like a bigger space.

The whole process of remodeling did not begin until ALL the items needed were available to minimize the time without a kitchen. Each trade were scheduled well in advance so we did not have to wait days or weeks to get them here. The process ran very smoothly and our kitchen remodel took about 6 weeks total. Kay and Paul were always available and communicated what was going on next, helped greatly with any changes, and kept the whole remodeling running smoothly.

Blue Terra Design was terrific and we highly recommend them for any remodeling work. The attention to detail, the smooth process, and the quality of work is top notch. The stress of a remodel, especially a kitchen, was minimized with their communication and efficiency. We LOVE our new kitchen!

Blue Terra remodeled our main bath. Layout stayed intact, but all finishes, fixtures, cabinets, etc. were replaced. Kay and Paul were responsive and great to work with. The subcontractors they used for electric and tile work were outstanding. We had some issues with another sub, but Paul worked with us to resolve. Their careful scheduling helped us know what to expect and allowed us to stay on track. We're looking to remodel our kitchen next, and will definitely be giving them a call.

Thank you Blue Terra for giving us our perfect kitchen! We have worked with many companies for other projects around our house (before finding Blue Terra) and they were far and away the best. Paul and Kay were extremely responsive during the entire process, were able to stay within our budget and still give us exactly what we wanted. They gave us a day-by-day schedule for our project and even with some unexpected findings (such is the case with demo of a 1940s kitchen), they still managed to stay on track. Their crew and subcontractors were great to work with as well. While it’s always nice to have your house back after a 6 week remodel, I must say we will miss Kay and Paul. We hope to work with them again in the future!

We are extremely satisfied with our kitchen update/remodel/refresh that Paul, his crew, and his partnering contractors did for us. Paul and Kay worked with us to get a final design that we love, and they respected our budget for the project.
We were concerned about material supply issues that would delay the project. Paul & Kay developed a schedule around the supply availability, and the availability of their partnering contractors. Paul has a great talent for adapting to the challenges that surfaced behind the walls once the demo started.
The result was a beautiful kitchen space that was completed on time and within our budget.

We had a wonderful experience working with Kay, Paul, and the rest of the folks at Blue Terra! From the early design process through completion of the project, there was always an open line of communication that made the whole project much easier to manage. And in terms of results, we could not be happier. BT helped turn our tiny old kitchen into the highlight of the house. Highly recommend!

Paul and Kay were wonderful to work with and did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel. We got multiple quotes from companies and Blue Terra was most willing to keep our budget in mind. When problems arose they handled them very quickly. Paul and Kay were able to create a more functional kitchen space for us and we absolutely love it. We hope to do more projects with them in the future.

To put it simply, you will LOVE working with Blue Terra Design for your kitchen remodel. When we set out to update our kitchen, we reached out to three other companies for bids with photos of the current space and a target budget. While some companies dismissed us from the start, Kay and Paul immediately showed what they would prove to be throughout our project: the most responsive, the most collaborative, and the most fun partners we could have hoped for.

We didn't need to rework our entire kitchen layout, and we didn't have a six-figure budget---yet we always felt like our remodel was a project they were invested in, too. Kay was so open to hearing our ideas---even as we sometimes got a little too big with our dreaming---and was great about looking at our inspiration photos, listening to our priorities, and offering her advice without ever pushing us into something that we weren't feeling. She also impressed us by arranging pre-project inspections with all their subcontractors at the same time so that we had the fewest number of meetings possible. So efficient and smart!

We did the demo ourselves for our project, and yet Paul was super encouraging and supportive with guidance and made sure we knew he was always a phone call or a FaceTime away if we needed him. It always felt like he was present even when his team was onsite without him, and it made me feel so reassured to know that the team shared his high expectations.

Our kitchen remodel involved new plumbing, new electrical, wood floor refinishing, soffit removal, and of course new full-overlay cabinets, quartz and butcher block countertops, a new tile backsplash, and many new fixtures. We absolutely love how it turned out, and as you can see from the before and after pictures, having loads of additional (and more functional) cabinetry has done wonders to remove the clutter from the space. And trust me: we USE this kitchen and cook daily. It's just so easy to have everything put away where we need it and out of the way when we don't.

And if all that weren't enough... As our kitchen project was about to get underway, we experienced a water leak in our master bathroom that led to it needing to be largely gutted, too. I reached out to Kay to ask for advice on who we could work with---figuring our bathroom would be too small (i.e. not lucrative) for them---and she and Paul volunteered immediately to find a way to fit that remodel in, too. Suddenly, we were relying on Blue Terra for two remodels at once, and they absolutely came through at every step. I won't forget the day Paul came by with tools and some helping hands while I was finishing up the demo in the bathroom to help make sure I had all the layers of subfloor out. It was out of the way for him, and I wasn't paying him to do the demo, and yet there he was. Just a true demonstration of his character.

Ultimately, remodeling a kitchen isn't a simple task for your contractor nor for you. If you're going to go through the effort, and deal with the inconveniences along the way, and make the investment, you want to work with someone that's going to be there with you every step---and THAT, as much as anything, is what makes us so grateful that we chose to work with Blue Terra.

I can say enough good things about Blue Terra. Paul, Kay and Anna came up with a beautiful design that was beyond our expectations and kept the whole project moving so we could get back into our kitchen asap. Our kitchen went from cramped and crowded to open with more counter and storage space than I thought possible! Ian and Tim, their carpenters, were wonderful to work with and spent so much time making sure everything was perfect. Every one of the sub contractors for flooring, electrical, plumbing and drywall were an absolute joy to work with as well! Thank you so much Blue Terra!
