Prior to the start date I warned Blue Terra that there was construction around my house. Their response was "we will make it work". They showed up the morning we scheduled and said they could not do the work because of the construction. They agreed to start the flooring and would reschedule the remaining of the work. It should be noted that after going to the store they recommended buying flooring, I told them I did not like the selections. They then told me I can pick it from another store and suggested the type to get. I did this and we all agreed to move forward with it.

Blue Terra installed half the kitchen flooring on Monday April 25th. I noticed that it didn't look good but figured they would complete the work the next day. I received an email on Tuesday afternoon asking me to call Paul. This was the first time he expressed concern about the flooring. He said they were not happy with the flooring because it would not stick and then told me to deal with it. They then refused to redo the flooring. I was never told not to use this tile. Paul ONLY expressed concern about it on completion.

They brought in the sink and backsplash tile on April 25th and left these boxes in my living room. I did purchase this material. They told me it would be another month before they get back to me. In the interim I spoke with a couple of trusted friends and they told me this was negligence and that I should get a new contractor. I let Blue Terra know I will not be working with them anymore. They insisted that I purchase the hand crafted countertop they built for my kitchen. I was hesitant to do this as they already told me to deal with the kitchen floor and I was concerned I'd get the same response if the countertop was poorly installed. I did get the new countertop though.

The contractor I hired after them told me the tile for the backslash was grossly overestimated based on what I asked for. I contacted Blue Terra and this was the first time they showed me the numbers. They then told me to contact them when it was done. I took this to mean they would perhaps buy back the unused tile. Because there was so much extra tile, my new contractor went ahead and covered more area than originally discussed. Even after this, there were still 167 tile squares left adding up to about $1000. They also charged me for grout they never brought. When I contacted them with the remaining number they refused to buy it back. I wrote them 3 times hoping to work something out and they then accused me of slander and extortion. This is not true. I am not trying to extort them. I will share my experience on social media. They literally state to do this on their website. This is not slander

In addition, I had to pay the new contractor ~$800 for the removal of the floor they installed.

Paul and the Blue Terra Team took our outdated kitchen with builder grade golden oak cabinets and Formica countertops and created a wonderful modern kitchen with quality cherry cabinets stained a beautiful warm pecan and a statement island topped with Cambria quartz. Not only is our kitchen beautiful but it is much more functional. They designed a longer and wider island with easy to access pull out drawers. The cabinets now go to the ceiling creating more space. Our bar area is now beautiful and makes a statement. We kept the same layout but our kitchen looks much larger and functions better.
Paul and Alycia worked with us on all the design aspects from the cabinet design and color, countertop pattern and color, and flooring choice, to the backsplash tiles and handle pulls. They answered all our questions and put up with my indecisiveness until the design choices were just right for us. They also created 3-D pictures so you could envision the new design in your kitchen.

Paul arranged for all the subcontractors who were very professional and did high quality work.
The entire crew respected our home, did an amazing job and the results show the professionalism and pride they put into what they do.
We were given a work manual that showed the technical design and included what work would be done on a given day/ week. Jesse and Jim were perfectionists and everything went according to plan. We are grateful to everyone at Blue Terra and love our new kitchen.
