We just had Struck and Irwin replace our old wooden privacy fence, and they did a wonderful job. The workers were great about checking in with us on a couple of questions that came up. The new fence looks great. We are very happy with how smoothly the job went from start to finish.

Fair estimate, great work around what I wanted and what the terrain allowed.

Been trying to get them to replace my fence for the better part of a year despite having a signed contract. They don’t return emails and phone calls.

Did not return my calls and when I called back to ask if someone could call me the receptionist was very rude and acted annoyed that I had expected someone to contact me within a week of my first call. Maybe they are good if you can get a hold of them!

We were in need of alot of fence at work. Seen this name on a fence and called. Sue is RUDE and huffed on phone. All we wanted was an estimated price- was like pullin teeth and still no answers and no call backs. If you put your name on a fence expect to answer peoples questions.

They installed a fence for my house and it looks absolutely stunning. So happy I chose Struck and Irwin Fence. Would recommend 100% and would use over and over again.

Unimpressed. Called to schedule a time to get a bid, no call back. Called again, finally was able to schedule someone another week out. Was told I would be given a bit that following week, four days later ... nothing ... it it like pulling teeth. Evidently they do not need anyone's business.

Fence looks good but they ran a pole that was to be dug by hand through my electrical for my garage. They took no responsibility for this and cost me another $650 to fix. I will never use them again. Now you respond lol

Called twice over a one month period - woman on the phone was a little less than polite. She said both times that an estimator would call me but I never received a phone call back. Since I couldn't get their business I went elsewhere. Craigslist has a lot of great fence people looking for work now.

Shop around for a fence company that is trustworthy. Struck & Irwin are NOT trustworthy. The receptionist is rude. Bill, the salesman, is a cheat. Sold us fence, $15,000.00 worth of fence, that should not have been installed at our location. We found out after the fact that the ground is not stable for the type of fence that Struck & Irwin recommended. Would not work with us to make it right and called us at our jobs and yelled at us because he wouldn't get his commission after the fence and gates were installed incorrectly. We had a foot gap at the bottom and our dogs were easily going under said fence. Bill guaranteed us that they never had a dog escape and that the fence would be touching the ground. We had to take time off from our own jobs to fix the fence and protect our dogs while spending another $1,000.00 plus. We unloaded the fence from Struck & Irwin we were told could not be returned, cleaned up after the install and had to call the company that supplies the actual fence to get assurance of the warranty after Struck & Irwin damaged the powder coating while poorly installing the fence. The owner of Struck 7 Irwin, Mark, called us with his condescending and chauvinistic attitude and said he would listen to our side of the issues we had with his employees and the fence install. He talked over us and did NOT listen to a thing we had to say. There is no professionalism at Struck & Irwin from any of the employees. They were recommended by our realtor and have since been taken off the list at the realtors office. We were running short of time before the frost arrived in December and were installing our own horse fence when Struck & Irwin told us that they would have to wait until spring to fix the problems they caused in October with the fence they had installed. Our advice is to thoroughly shop around and get great references for fence products and installers.

Beware! They are happy to take your money for a fence, but do not stand behind it. After the recent storms we had some damage to our fence (that they installed) and called them to get an estimate to repair it. We were told that they do not repair fences. This is beyond un acceptable. It seems ever since they moved in with the Bruce Company their customer service has gone down hill. The Bruce Company has always had a good reputation, I hope they stop tarnishing the Bruce Company's reputation.

I had a Struck & Irwin fence installed in my backyard. It started flopping over within a few years. Called to get repairs done. The receptionist said they would get back to me right away. They never replied. Called again. Never replied. Called again. Never replied. I just talked to a contractor today who told me that the fence is of low quality, with thin wood and poor quality nails. I'm getting the Struck & Irwin Fence ripped out and a new one installed. Struck & Irwin is less expensive than other companies, but their work does not last very long.

The fence they put in was OK. But when the estimator came, I made sure I told him that I wanted the gate open IN to our yard. I stressed it over and over. When the crew came…guess what? They installed it going OUT of the yard, opposite of what I wanted. They spoke Spanish, well so do I so I explained what I wanted, and they showed me the drawing that showed the gate opening out (I’m not convinced it was really our plans, because the shape of the fence line was wrong). Only problem was, it ran smack in to the downspout for the house. Just move the downspout was S&I’s answer. I hired someone else foe $300 to change the gate they way I wanted it. Would not hire them again, or IF you do make sure you check, double check and triple their plans, work, etc.
