I tried to use the business. I reached out to get an estimate on a list of tasks that needed to be done. A person came over. I handed him a printed list and we did a walk through. Told me they would get back to meet shortly. Never heard back. Called the business twice after and never heard back. Both people who answered the phone told me I'll hear back by the next day. Didn't happen. I went ahead and used a different service for assistance.

John and his crew do great work. I have had them do carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical. They are always on time and do great work at a fair price.

I called to have someone install a railing on our front porch. Two steps and the landing. Took three phone calls to get someone to come out. When he finally did, he looked, did not even bring a tape measure and said to to Menards and buy the railing and call me back. Asked three times for a installation price and he kept saying depends. Finally said $300. a railing. This is to put in three post on each side. I said, so I just measure it and get the parts. His reply was they are about four foot pieces. Never measured. I did not expect to measure myself, buy the parts and hope they are correct and then call him back. He gave nothing writing to even know if you would not charge me more than $600. for this installation. Very unprofessional, no business cards, just a first name. Really acted like he was not interested in the job. $600. or more to install two little pieces of railing also seems a bit excessive. Would never use them again if this how all the people that are signed up with them operate.

We used MKE Handyman twice now. once to replace a garbage disposal, once to install a toilet. Jesse showed up exactly on time once and called to ask if he could come EARLY the other time. He was fast, extremely competent, and thorough. Their estimates were more than competitive and were spot on accurate. We intend to use them as often as necessary.

We set up two appointments for quotes. The first time the contractor didn't show up and didn't call. He called the following morning with an excuse about not budgeting his time for a job and he couldn't make it to our house. No explanation provided for the lack of courtesy call The office called saying he was sick. We set up another appointment the following day. Once again he didn't show up and didn't call. There won't be a third appointment.

James was very prompt, courteous and professional. Both of our projects were repairing structural deterioration, and he did a great job on both. We called him back to make a minor adjustment to our back gate, and he was again very prompt and finished work quickly, and even added a piece of wood to make the repair more visibly pleasing.

I needed to have the valve to my toilet replaced. After receiving several quotes of $150 - 250 I called Milwaukee Handyman. They quoted me $80 to have the work done. Jessie came with the part and completed the job in under 15 minutes. Not to mention it was on a Sunday! Nice job, great people to deal with.

Had these guys out to complete a dishwasher install for us. They were fast to come out for a quote, were conversational during the quoting process and explained why they would do things the way they recommended. Came out on time on the day of install and had everything done in the span of 2 mornings. They were clean, prompt, polite and professional. Would definitely hire again.

We recently moved into our first home and Milwaukee Handyman, especially Jesse, has helped us so much with all those little nuances of new homeownership that have popped up.

Scheduling an appointment has been incredibly easy and I always enjoy chatting with the coordinator, everyone at the office is so friendly!

Jesse is also so friendly & patient, extremely knowledgeable, and beyond helpful with all our questions. He even paid a second visit back to help visually explain a concept to me that I had no idea how to address. I hadn't been sure if the problem was even something he could help us resolve, but he happily came back to check it out, provide input, and helped us from getting the right materials down to full installation!

Love Milwaukee Handyman and will continue to keep them on speed dial as our go-to home experts! :)

I have used Milwaukee Handyman a number of times. They are professional on time and do excellent work. Prices are excellent too

I want to give them 0 stars. Called and set up a time for a quote for a number of projects I wanted done around a house I was buying. Guy came out and was on time dressed professionally and was very nice. (Anthony I believe his name was) promised a quote end of the day or tomorrow) this was a Wednesday. On Monday and still no quote so I called their office. Nice lady answered and said I'll make sure he follows up with you today for sure. NOTHING. Tried calling Wednesday Thursday and now Friday. Left messages each time. No one will answer or call me back. Was happy to hire them if their quote was half decent. No one wants to make money. No one answers the phone. Would not recommend in any way shape or form. If they're this bad to start then how poorly will they treat my house and the projects?

Sadly, I need to update this review. While Milwaukee Handyman did a decent job of refurbishing my carport in April, their follow-through on some unfinished work has been poor.

The repair person originally verbally agreed to address the bird nesting issue after the repairs were made. While this wasn't in the written bid, which I should have noticed, it was discussed numerous times but not taken care of when the initial work was complete.

The birds returned and they said that it could not be addressed until they were done nesting so we waited until fall. I have emailed the office many, many times about this issue since that time and received assurances though email, calls, and text that it would be handled but still no one has come out to fix the problem. I would not recommend this company.

Jessie came out to give us an estimate on installing a bidet, fixing plumbing turn offs and checking old electrical wires. His estimate was very reasonable and he was able to stay and do the work right away. We were very pleased with his work and all around knowledge. Everything was done within an hour! Yay!! We will definitely be using this service again.

Great pricing good job I can't say enough what a great experience I had with Jesse. Replaced faucets, storm door. Had a problem with a rotten pipe that I didn't know was there called promptly came back and fixed. I will be calling again for light fixtures. Plumbing repairs and possibly a new kitchen floor. Updated 8.25.25 used them again had a problem with a leaking water filter AGAIN another great job by Jesse

I will never work with Milwaukee Handyman ever again thanks to their contractor Bryan, which is a shame because I have multiple properties so this will cost them thousands of dollars (especially since I have other work I was going to offer them to do.) I had work done at one of my properties. One was a hand rail going down to the basement. first, Bryan put it so close to the wall you couldn't use it so he had to come back to fix it. Fine, no big deal. He did some exterior work to stop a water leak. After rainfall, the leak persisted so I requested he come back out to take another look. After repeatedly telling me, "I've never had this happen before" he agreed to come take a look. That was over 4 MONTHS AGO. I have contacted him every week for the entire 4 months, some times even multiple times a week in an attempt to get him to come out. Every time I got an excuse or straight up ignored. He would give me a date he says he will come out and then not show up. There were multiple times I drove to my property to meet him to let him in, only for him to not respond or say he can't make it. He has told me, "I'll come back out after this job is done on Thursday" and then say, "Sorry, working on another job." He's told me he can't come out because it just rained so it's too wet. Fine. But to only later tell me he can't come out because it hasn't rained and he needs to look at the leak. Which is it? I'm sure the IRS would like to know that Bryan only requests cash (after you show up with a check) so that he doesn't have to claim the work on his taxes. But even more so, I'm sure Milwaukee Handyman would like to know he's making their customers run to their bank to get cash because he won't accept a check. I've called Milwaukee Handyman to complain and they tell me, "Yeah, we have to get on him some times, we will talk to him." But then they don't follow up and make sure he actually goes out to do the work. Absolutely unbelievable. I will make sure to let everyone I know in Milwaukee to avoid them.

I had a great experience with Kevin at Milwaukee Handyman. My husband and I recently moved to the area and our new house had an awkward narrow & deep closet in the dining room. I had a vision of having a built in china cabinet in that space, and even though I couldn’t really find an inspiration photo of what I wanted, Kevin totally made it happen. He was extremely flexible to our schedule, showed up when he said he would, and worked efficiently to create the custom built in of our dreams! I could not be more pleased with the service of Milwaukee Handyman, and especially Kevin’s craftsmanship on our custom project.

Had a good experience using them about a year ago to install a large window (~9 feet wide) that we got a great deal on off of FB Marketplace. Window looks great and much less drafty compared to the old window.
