They did a terrible job mowing our lawn. They just mowed right over our flower beds even though we asked them not to touch the beds. I really hope our flowers grow back alright next year. We have a patio with spaced stones and grass growing between them. They didn't move our patio furniture to do the grass underneath it. They just mowed the part they could see. We will not be using them again.

Inconsistent service. I went 3 weeks being cancelled. They would say they were coming and then not show up. Bad service, poor communication. Not worth the frustration. I guess it’s better to just do it yourself than use this company.

I was charged 122.00 for my grass to be cut they said my grass too long 9 to 15 inches. I canceled it. They offered 15 credit no thank you.

Absolutely delighted to have stuck with LawnStarter as unfortunately my initial experience was less than stellar and although it took a few weeks to get properly paired with a provider of the quality and capabilities that I needed, it was worth the wait, frustration from my lady and hassle... Like any startup, there are a few bugs to work out but LawnStarter is diligent and customer focused (even though it may seem like a bust initially). I had 2 separate providers that were paired with me and the 1st one was not a good fit as they came ill prepared for my lawn with a basic push mower (he quit 1/5th way through cutting and vanished leaving my yard a mess) the 2nd provider seemed to be much better a fit but then didn't show up on schedule after messaging back and forth and making a time commitment. The 2nd provider then messaged me almost 2hours after they were supposed to be here to tell me that they were not going to make it due to a family emergency. That's when I was about to call it quits with LawnStarter entirely but decided to submit my experience & frustrations which I did, and then I was almost immediately paired with Domingo and his crew which have now been absolutely amazing from the start! Well worth it all as I guarantee you will not find a better deal or solution than LawnStarter offers, especially when you are properly paired. My wife is happy, I am happy, our dogs are happy, my lawn /yard is very happy and my neighbors are happy too!

LawnStarter has provided a great solution to my lawn care needs. I am a busy law student, and I don't have the time or the equipment necessary to take care of my yard. I also don't have a lot of money (notice I am a student). LawnStarter is an affordable and quality lawn care service that I am so glad to have discovered. It costs $40 to get the full range of lawn care services, and you can schedule the service for as frequently or infrequently as you want. They also give you some chances to get discounts on your lawn care service.

They were prompt and very friendly. The price is reasonable for front and back yards

I was in a tight spot needing a mowing service and I find LawnStarter by googling. Not only were they able to add me as a customer with such short notice, they came two days earlier than I expected. I have been pleased with the service and the fact that I can use a app to communicate about and manage my account. Thank you LawnStarter, you ROCK!

DO NOT USE LAWNSTARTER! ! I hired them to cut my grass and they showed up the first two times and were supposed to come on 5/24, but sent a message stating they had equipment issues and would come 5/27. I received another message stating that because it was supposed to rain they would be here 5/29. They never showed. I sent two messages with no response. I called customer service and they said l would try to get someone out to me and no one came. I have since sent three more messages with no response. Terrible to work with!

Great company! Professional, friendly, prompt and great work! Really great customer service! I never have to follow up with them as they always show up and if there is a delay they let me know... I highly recommend this company for your lawn maintenance needs.

It has been awful as of late. LawnStarter kept rescheduling from May 22nd. It's now Jun 8th. I had previously contacted them to see why they had not been coming out. I told them my grass is getting long because they have not been out to cut it. I told them i don't want them charging me a long grass fee due to them rescheduling me. They are supposed to come weekly. This is the growing season. My grass is now a foot long and laying down! I contacted them again and they told me I had the service skipped the 4th which is not true. I did not talk to lawnstarter or go on the app to skip service. They should have at least had someone out yesterday 7th when they said they would. But, they sent another message saying some one will be out on the 11th. They should have someone come tomorrow the 9th. I am fined by the City if my grass is not cut and is over a certain length. Will lawnstarter pay the city fine? If I could post the photos I would. They previous had damaged my window well covers and did not edge the complete lawn. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But these signs tells me I should look for another service.

First time we hired a lawn service to maintain our lawn and it was a great decision! Originally needed a one time service, but after seeing how wonderful the job was we decided to book weekly maintenance all season. Very professional, on time and saves us a lot of time maintaining our lawn. Highly recommend.

No guarantee of customer satisfaction. 3-cut minimum. LawnStarter's constant upselling on services we never need, including right off the bat in customer support's response to our complaints, is quite annoying. LawnStarter appears to hire cheap labor and to drive further profits from constant upselling to clients, putting pursuits for profit above customer satisfaction.

My lawn has never looked so nice. My husband had bad allergies and it’s hard for him to cut our grass. Domingo and his team are wonderful and the service is very reasonable. We had to go out of town due to a death in our family and they came while we were gone and did a wonderful job. I am so glad we decided to go with LawnStarter.

They are crooks. Do a bad job and take extra from your credit card with no hesitation. Gave a promo for sharing and then charged regular price plus promo for grass that was right at 6 inches. Also they charge your card too much in advance so it makes it hard for you to cancel. DO NOT USE.

Not a great experience. We'll cancel the service all together. Will not recommend to anyone, the server was very rude. Work was incomplete.

So don't let them keep Credit card info, for recurring services.
I got services done twice.
On the 2nd time I tried to cancel for the rest of the year. I didn't make it on time. That was fine, I paid for the services rendered. The same day I tried to cancel the 2nd service. I cancelled services for the rest of the year. So about 2 weeks later, to my surprise my card was trying to be charged for services they did on the same day(their policy is to collect payment for services 3 days after service). I immediately messaged them , that this is FRAUD, I cancelled services weeks ago. They then send a message saying they didn't cut grass and they will reschedule. When messaged them I told them to take CREDIT CARD information out. On app it was removed. A couple of days go by, they message me saying they are going to take out taxes they forgot to take out(for the fake grass cutting) I said I caught you in another lie. So you kept my Credit card information? Next message said, please update your credit card information. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

Never showed for over a week. They cancelled 2 times on me before my first cut. Now I cancelled the service and it says they will finish the 3 cut minimum. Now they will try to charge me a height charge of over 12" due to them not showing up. I highly recommend avoiding this service at least in Oak Creek, WI.

I have used them since April but then my service was rescheduled by the company three weeks in a row. I am told to pay double price for them not doing their job or they will cancel the service. I reach out to ask about this and the customer service cancels me. Use at your own risk if you are desperate and willing to pay double when your service is pushed back for weeks.

They simply do not show up! They've been postponing my service for almost 2 weeks, and now my grass is incredibly long. They keep saying my upcoming service is between such-and-such dates, but then they never show up and simply reschedule...and then never show up for the new dates. I'm a customer of a few years standing, and I've had this mowing scheduled since last spring, and yet they still keep sending me to the back of the line. Customer service via email is worthless, and you can't get anybody on the phone. Save yourself some grief: do not do business with this company!
