Maplewood Tree Care is literally a God send! At least they were sent in to clean up a couple of trees that God decided to drop on my and my neighbor's back yards!
As luck would have it, the crew was already scheduled to remove a LARGE Crab apple tree from my front yard, in a raised bed, surrounded by growing and blooming flowers, OUCH! We had planned on dropping the Crab apple this Winter when the ground was frozen but they ended up swamped with so many emergency calls that it always got pushed back.
I had expected they would do a good job with the damaged trees in my back yard but the job they did on the Crab apple amazed me, and literally brought tears to my wife's eyes.
We had both wanted that Crab apple tree out of our yard since we bought the place but it never got done, primarily out of concern for the flowers around it, hence "waiting" for Winter. That didn't happen though and the time to do it seemed to be forced on all of us anyway so, no thing to do but to do it and let the flowers fall where they may.
Back in "the day", I could split toothpicks with a double-bitted axe with ease but looking at pictures taken after the Crab apple treed was removed, I've never seen anyone thread a 3 foot diameter tree trunk through a dense pack of Iris and Hasta leaves, stems and flowers.
From the house and the sidewalk, you can't even tell there was a tree there to being with nor that it had just been removed. Looking dead-on in the path of where it went down, sure, one can see it but a week from now, you won't notice a thing.
The first image is looking toward the road from the house across the raised flower bed in the middle of which, on the left side of the image, was the Crab apple tree. The bent Iris stems were bent before they dropped it, but no others. The second image is looking toward the house from the sidewalk and all you can see is healthy non-crushed flowers.
Color me amazed!

I have used this business for a number of years now and they are awesome. They are knowledgeable, timely, reasonable and do a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves. Today they pruned my Maple and shaped up my Sweetbay Magnolia. I highly recommend!

Being in the peak time, and since I was going through the contractor "The Grounds Guys", I wish I had known direct how to hire these guys.

I booked Maplewood Tree Care on February 18 2021 to trim a Japanese Maple tree in our front yard. I checked in via phone in June and was told I was number two on their list for the week. The service was never performed. I checked in via email on July 22 and was told that I was number four for the week. I checked in again at the beginning of August and was told that I was on their list and they would get to me as soon as possible. They never reached out to me proactively with an update on when the service would be performed or why they hadn’t been able to make it for six months. I’ve tried to be patient with the business, but finally had to cancel my service request and will have the services performed by an alternate tree service.

FABULOUS TREE REMOVAL and PRUNING! SUPER CLEAN UP! We had HUGE trees threatening to come down on our house and they are GONE! VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE! REASONABLE RATES with a DETAILED ESTIMATE! We are so grateful for the AMAZING work they did for us!

The whole process was efficient and FAST. I called to see if they could remove a dead tree; I got a quote the same day and removal the day after that. Amazing! And the removal team did a great job - not only did they make sure the tree debris was cleared, they actually left the area looking better than they found it. Meticulous. They had to take down our tree while we were out of town due to scheduling with the electric company. When we returned we expected to have to clean up, but they had left not even a single twig or leaf on the lawn. I had asked them to leave the big wood and i would buck it myself. Instead they bucked everything and left it neatly piled. On top of all of this awesome service, they were also the most reasonably priced of 3 estimates i had gotten. I highly recommend them.

Jeremy and his crew cut down a BIG honey locust in the beginning of spring this year and I couldn't be happier! They were all so friendly, got the job done quickly and cleanly along with being very professional! Very happy we hired them for this big mess of a project!!!

They did a great job of removing the three dead and dangerous trees we had on our property. We were not around to oversee... and we didn't need to be. The area was left immaculate. It was as if the trees hadn't even been there. Their price was very fair and I have no hesitations about using their services again.

I had a huge limb fall overnight and it was blocking the sidewalk and street. Jeremy came by to take a look and gave me a thorough explanation of what he thought should be done with the tree both in the immediate and long term. He also let me know the city would likely remove the limb for free and even called them on my behalf to get them out to take a look, even though I was clueless and ready to let him charge me! I was going to have Jeremy come out to do cleanup but the city handled that as well. Definitely will reach out to Maplewood for future jobs.

Jeremy's awesome personality sold me on Maplewood. They took our 300 year old oak tree down this weekend. Watching them work and how at the end of the day you couldn't even tell that there was a tree down was amazing. I highly recommend them both on price and service, these guys rock!!!

Great experience, highly recommend! Jeremy and the team were fantastic and did a great job with a large tree and stump removal. We also had them help with some landscaping in the backyard. They went above and beyond to make sure everything looked great and we got exactly what we wanted. This will be the only arborist I work with going forward.

Outstanding service, fair price, and easy to work with. The crew was professional, respectful of property, and efficient. Their aerial lift really expands the trimming range and speeds up the work vs. arborists who only climb and use hand and rope saws. I also really appreciated the candid expert advice on how to approach some follow up DIY work.

Jeremy and his crew were awesome. I hired them to give birch tree in my yard a 'haircut' as the branches and leaves hung down so low as to hit me when mowing the lawn. What I expected and what they did were two different things......his crew pruned the entire tree (not just the low hanging branches) and my tree looks brand new! I'm so happy!!

They climbed up to the very top and cleared dead branches and strategically pruned it.....I figured it would be a quick job, but they took such great care that they were there for nearly 4 hours!! I am so very pleased with how my tree turned out that I thought you should know. Jeremy was easy to work with and his crew was friendly and diligent. Would definitely use them again for my next tree project.

My mom had a tree land on her roof during one of the summer storms, and Maplewood Tree Care came to her rescue! They were out within a few hours of our call for help and made sure the biggest branch was off the house ASAP so that she could feel safe and secure. We couldn't believe how fast and hard they worked in the heat, and they did an amazing job!!!
