Don't take your saw to them. Three and a half years ago I brought my stihl ms250 chainsaw to them because it was leaking oil and smoking. They said the saw was shot. I believe them and bought a ms291. After three years I cracked the front oil pan for the chain. They fixed it for $241.00. The saw never ran the same. After bringing it back 3 times to get it fixed, they said it it had a cracked piston and cylinder and it was shot. I picked my saw up and took it apart. I replaced the broken bearings and the saw works great. It was a $50.00 fix. I also was able to fix my ms250 saw. The fix took about two hrs and didn't cost me a penny. They lied about both saw being shot. I will never go back.

I have been a customer of Olsen's for many years. I have purchased weed eaters, push power lawn mowers from them, two zero turn mowers and an Arians Tractor. I treat them with respect since they are a small business like me. They are great to work with. I read the one star reviews and those people are narcistic people thinking the Olsen world should revolve around them. Everyone is helpful and accommodating. Customers are always appreciated but it is a mutual relationship both ways. Thank you Olsen family for being a quality Muskego business.

Very helpful staff. Explained all the options, trade offs and details to a rising mower newb. Perfect customer service and a solid deal on last year's simplicity regent.

John, I have read your review and my mom the owner is in fact is "Serita", we did not make up her name. Also your discharge chute you told me you wife broke after I proved to you that it has been cracked for a long time. Also I showed you your washout port has been broken for some time because there was rust on the area where it was busted off but we replaced it for free for you. Also my father passed away 5 months ago so my brother and I are part owners now. I don't understand why you and your wife and friend have to bash our business. Also John, you told me that you are a police officer and tried to use that to threaten us which is extremely unprofessional if you even are a officer. We have been doing this for 22 years now and have never had such a grown man act like such a little kid. Also I can not believe you would think you would still be invited to our shop after acting and treating us like that. Sorry things didn't work out like you wanted but we cannot afford to give customers free parts. The bottom line is my brother did the work on your machine and if he broke something he would fix it. I think you should need to be honest and most importantly grow up.

Olson's is a great company that always goes out of their way to help me with my lawn equipment issues. I have been a customer for over 20 years and there is no one I trust more. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Awful experience. After waiting 45 days to get our snow blower back from being repaired, I went to pick it up and when I got there with my trailer the tech started it up and it was smoking like crazy. The tech said let me make an adjustment and it will be ok. So I decided to take it home, and when I got it off the trailer I started it again and it again was smoking. So I put it back on the trailer and brought it back to Olson's and explained the problem. When I was there I ran into the Owner and said very nicely, I've waited over 45 days to get my snow blower fixed, then I got it home and it doesn't work so I have to get it back onto the trailer and bring it back here, could you take something off of the bill for my inconvenience and he said smugly YOU OWN IT. !!
    VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE......

I would have given this review negative stars if I could. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have had many customer service jobs myself.
Recently I had Olson's Outdoor power equipment in Muskego pick up my Zero Turn Mower and do a tune up. The cost for the service was $247. After a week they dropped off my Zero Turn Mower and left it in my driveway without looking it over with me. The slip was tucked in the seat of the mower. The first thing that I noticed was damage done to my clean out port and discharge shoot. Consequently, I called Olson's back and they sent a driver back to look at my Zero Turn Mower. The driver denied any wrong doing but said he would take the unit back to the shop and talk to the mechanic. I never recieved a call back. They kept my mower for another week. When I called to ask if they were repairing the damage they told me that it was done. They said that they were not going to charge me for the part or labor, (the part that they damaged) however, they had to add a $57 delivery charge to my account because they forgot to add it in my first bill. I asked politely if they would consider waiving delivery for my inconvenience. They snapped at me and said they were out the money for the clean out port and was not going to eat the delivery charge. When I asked to speak to a manager, the sales person said I was talking the manager, and gave me the run around, inturn hanging up the phone on me. When I called back and asked for their name, they said I was talking to a different person now and that they all sound the same at their store. When I asked to speak to the owner they gave me another sales person who said that he was one of the multiple owners of the store and I was going to just have to deal with him. When I asked of the name of the previous person I spoke to, they refused to give me their name and asked why I wanted to know. I said I wanted to know who I was speaking with. Instead they and made up a name telling me it was "Sherita" that I spoke with and she was an owner too. I tried to explain to him my ordeal but he reacted very defensively and said "We are done dealing with you as a customer and don't want your business anymore". I might add this was after they charged me for a $247 tune up and only fixed my clean out port worth $10. The supposed owner said I needed to come pick up my mower myself and they would leave it outside the gate of the building with the keys in it. I told them I wasn't comfortable with that because it would take a while for me to make arrangements to get a trailer and I didn't want it stolen. I made arrangements to get a trailer and when I went to pick it up it was outside the gate with the keys in it. I noticed that they did replace my clean out port, however my discharge shoot had a huge crack in it still and was not replaced. I ordered the part myself which costed me about $50 and rented a trailer for $27. Most importantly I got my Zero Turn Mower home safely with the help of my wife and myself.
I never have been treated so unprofessionaly from any business like I have from Olson's Outdoor Power Equipment. It's ironic that Olson's Outdoor Power Equipment equipment puts on their website "We pride ourselves in customer service". In fact it was just the opposite and Olson's could care less about customer satisfaction. All they care about is the turn around and getting paid for the shoddy work that they do. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT take any of your power equipment to this store. Even if it is as simple as a hand shovel. I guarantee you will get it back missing the handle. Unfortunately when asking them about the damage, they will tell you is not their problem it's your problem now. Then they will stick you with an inflated bill that you now owe them for and tack on charges that you never approved. Take it from me and learn from my mistake and a hard lesson learned. Reconsider taking anything or buying anything from this dishonest place of business that values nothing but making a quick sale.

Worst experience ever do not go to this company they will sell you electrical parts for a different model of engine knowing they don't have to take them back because they take no exchanges for electrical parts nor will they credit you for the ones you need that they should have sold you in the first place. They were obnoxious and disrespectful and deserved every bit of what I said to them.

I have a 16 to 17 year old Simplicity Coronet, rear engine, 14 horse/34 inch deck, that wasn't in rough shape, but the previous owner clearly didn't keep up with routine and preventive maintenance. I gave a laundry list of things I wanted done, including lubing/greasing, replacing all the deck rollers, replacing the deck and traction belts, doing a full tune up, sharpening and balancing the blades, balancing and adjusting the deck, but and doing a cylinder leakdown/back pressure test. They did everything I asked, and when I got it back, they mentioned the transmission was getting weak (truthfully, I had noticed the issue on my final cut in Fall of 2019). At first I was a little upset that I just spent money doing all this other stuff, only to get 1/3 of my lawn cut before it would no longer move, and I'll be frank, I acted like a jackass about it, out of emotion. It took a little calming down to realize that with the age of equipment, we were all in the same boat, at guesstimating what the issue was. I managed to source a replacement hydro-gear transaxle, from New Jersey, and in an effort to save some time, had it shipped directly to them. I was tracking the shipment in real time, and it was delivered at 2:25PM in the afternoon on a Thursday. I received a call/voicemail shortly before 5:00PM, THE SAME DAY, letting me know that it was complete. In addition to everything else that was done, I was informed that one of the torque straps was broken, and it was going to be on backorder for several weeks. They welded/repaired that as well. Going from initially being angry, and it shouldn't have been directed towards them at all; I was just frustrated, they went above and beyond for me, and got me up and running again in a day. They are kind enough to show you the wear and tear on some of the used items, in my case the blades that I asked to be sharpened and balanced, and with the age, wear, and decay, it's no doubt, why they had replaced them instead. My old compact, rear engine rider, has never ran or cut better, in the 3 years I have owned it. I want to say a big thank you to Neil, Sonny who worked on it, and their entire team. You do great, fair work, and I should never have snapped on you like I did. You still took care of me when I was at my worst jackassness (don't know if that's a word), and came through. You earned my respect and my business. Hopefully I can get some new equipment within the next couple of years, and get some more repairs done as well. I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong, and give praise when it is due, so thank you to the entire team at Olson's Outdoor Power Equipment; you have a customer for life.

We had an emergency and needed to get our Zero Turn fixed. My husband owns a landscaping business and we needed it fixed quickly. The mower was fixed in exactly the time they said that it would. The people at Olson's wee so friendly and they knew exactly what they were talking about I Highly recommend Olson's Outdoor Power Equipment.

I've had many great experiences with Olson's Outdoor Power. Been very pleased with quality of service and the very friendly staff. Any time I have a problem they fix it and the prices are very reasonable. I will continue to give them my business and will be a longtime customer.

Was in a pinch with a flat tire for my Simplicity and they squeezed me in just before closing. Many places would have said they couldn't do it on the spot, but Olson's clearly had it right. They seem very knowledgeable from the interactions I observed while waiting. Will not go anywhere else.

We have had mixed results with Olson's.
They once serviced a lawn mower, called us once, and we did not get the message. Winter came, and we completely forgot it had been in for service. In the Spring, we remembered (when we saw it was missing from the barn). Turns out, hey had put it outdoors all Winter, and never called a second time to warn us. The mower was wrecked, and they did not accept any responsibility.
Not real thrilled with the attitudes overall here. The people I've worked with there seem to treat customers like they are doing us a favor by being in business. When you walk into their showroom, they look at you like you are intruding. Was looking at some splitters, nobody offered to help. In the back, I overheard loud swearing and laughing. I left.
Their annual service for our equipment is hit or miss. Slight problems every year. I'm upgrading them to 3 stars this year, but I still believe that we could use some competition here in Muskego.
Update: they refused service to my wife because of this review. Rather than respond to my feedback, they chose instead to punish us by not serving us ever again. That should say something to you.

I just want to say what a positive experience I had purchasing my commercial equipment (toro multiforce) from the staff at Olson's .

I give a big shout out to Fawn who sold me the equipment. She was awesome to deal with and highly knowledgeable. She's my go to person their and I couldn't be happier

The Master mechanic Sonny, and the rest off the staff behind the scenes in the garage are awesome to deal with as well. These guys know their s#@t and will take the time to make sure you know all the details and capabilities of your equipment. These guys are top notch.

I've dealt with more than a few power equipment dealerships, I'm glad Olson's has all my bases covered and I don't need to shop around anymore. Their prices are competitive and the personal service is second to none.

    Thanks again guys,
    Shawn k

Great place, quality staff and equipment! Between rental properties and our own home, we’ve had our share of outdoor equipment. We’ve been customers of Olson’s for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else for maintenance and equipment purchases. Any place where you can get great service from knowledgeable and honest folks plus you’re greeted at the door by the family dog is a place for me!

I was at Olsons last week not knowing what was wrong with my mower after I noticed it making an u familiar sound. A mechanic came out immediately to take a look and diagnosed the problem on the spot. This may of been a rare occasion but the staff is friendly and very upfront with everything. I could not have been more pleased with my service and would highly recommend them.

Had an excellent experience here at Olson's. Fawn was very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. She was patient and answered all of my questions. She had lawn Care tips and suggestions I never even thought of. She was the lawn tractor sales person I was hoping to meet today. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I've been in here twice. First time I had a flat snowblower tire. I thought I would need a whole new tire because it was a tubeless tire. They explained how they could put in a tube to fix and save a lot of money. They had it done the same day. Second time I needed a gas cap for my chainsaw. Easy enough, I was out of there with the cap I needed in about 2 minutes. Happy with the service provided. It is nice having a local shop to get my equipment up and running again with minimal hastle.
