We had 3 arborvitaes, a burning bush, and a red pointe maple tree planted by Trees on the move and love the aesthetic of them in our backyard! Ernesto took great care of us throughout the whole process of selecting the trees and through the whole planting process. Everyone else involved was very helpful and professional. They seem to really care about taking care of their customers, and we will definitely go back for future trees!

I recently had TOTM install a concrete patio in my back yard. I could not be more pleased. Matt and his entire crew were punctual, courteous, friendly and extremely professional. Not,to mention that the actual work was perfect and absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

Would you spend a $1,000 for this tree? Well, I stupidly did so after this pine tree and 2 more were recommended by this company after my criteria of deer resistance and privacy from my neighbor.
I have repeatedly called this company and visited them personally expressing my concern. Of course it continually seems to be my fault.
I had another company come over to look at the 3 trees and particularly the dead looking one. I was told the tall trees around it do not give these trees enough sunlight, they were planted way too close together and they were not a good recommendation for privacy. I was told this tree got plenty of sunlight. Note the tree on the left side in total shade surrounded by huge trees.
$3,000 later I am stuck with trees that never met my criteria and look terrible. I plan on burning this tree this summer. It will be burning $1,000 and a lot of work and frustration with a bad result.
Please…save yourself the anguish and money of not getting involved with this company. Learn from my grave mistake.

Horrible customer service and communication. You will rarely receive a call back and less time for actual work to start was horrendous. Still waiting for a call back for some answers to try and fix their work. Junipers planted at the bottom of the swale and causing stress in the junipers.

We replaced two trees that had died. Daniel S. listened to us explain the situation and was such a tremendous help in choosing the perfect trees for our needs. The guys who delivered and planted the trees were personable, professional, and knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend and/or return if the situation presents itself. Great job!

We love our trees! Despite some frustrations & challenges with weather & logistics, we had seven 8'-15' Colorado and Norway Spruce trees planted in our yard last year. TOTM replaced one of the trees that did not make it. They are gorgeous. Thanks Dan!

The tree warranty policy is excellent. We had 6 Vanderwolf pine trees planted by Trees on the Move two years ago, and I am very fond of these trees. Unfortunately, after the 1st year, two of the trees did not survive and were replaced. Just before reaching the 2-year mark, another tree failed to survive, and it has also been replaced. Despite following the watering and mulching instructions, we encountered a few setbacks. However, I am thrilled that all 6 trees are now thriving and look fantastic!

This summer we had 8 trees planted. We are happy Ernesto was the sales rep. He worked with us every step of the way-coming to our property, hearing what we wanted, sent a list of trees to choose, and was available til the job was completed. We'll contact Ernesto for the next purchase.

Very happy with Daniel, Oscar and Teo working as a team to identify, select and plant 2 trees and a bush for us! All extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional! We will be calling them again when we need to add or replace trees and bushes on our property! Thank you all again!

Purchases 2 mature trees from Trees on the Move for my front yard. When I initially called and spoke with Daniel, he kindly accommodated my schedule and drove me around the tree farm to show me a ton of options. Daniel clearly explained the delivery process, provided a timeline of when I could expect the trees and walked through post-installation care in detail. Trees were delivered ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. Daniel and John kept me informed during the process and took great care to prevent any damage to my driveway and turf. Thank you for the excellent experience, I would highly recommend Trees on the Move!

Had a great experience with Ernesto in sales taking me on fun adventures to pick out the best trees on the lot in the golf cart! So many great trees to choose from and great follow up as to planting date etc.
The 2 man crew who planted trees on 2 different occasions were so friendly, efficient and cleaned everything up so nicely. Appreciated all their extra efforts!

We worked with Daniel at 'Trees On The Move' and purchased our new 'Celebration Maple' tree. It's a beautiful addition to our front yard and they did a fine job of installing it. We have bought other trees from them over the years and continue to enjoy their selection, quality and employees.

Great experience! Ernesto helped us select the right trees that complemented our setting, our desired look as well as our budget. His team was extremely professional during the planting, frequently confirming the locations were exactly what we wanted. They even spread the mulch around the trees that we had purchased. It was a very positive experience. Highly recommend.

Ernesto was knowledgeable, patient, and definitely customer service-oriented as we worked together to solve my landscape screening goals on the property line. He made sure we understood everything about trees and the importance of care and watering after installation.

I am writing a late review bc I have been very busy with other endeavors.

Before 11-25-2024, I had outstanding positive meetings from Mr. Ben Wallace, from Trees on the Move. It was coordinated my backyard challenging project, which emcompasses the areas of drainage, hardscape, and softscape.

FYI, I bought the house last 1-2021. For many years, it was neglected with poor maintenance inside - out.

This company has 40+ years dealing with trees & 24+ years dealing with hardscape.
With my project, they have to deal with the City of Milwaukee requirements (engineer structural design, permit, 4 inspector visits). It was a good experience for everyone. Even the city inspector learned!!!

The team worked from 11-25-2024 to 12-17-2024. Ben Wallace was the coordinator, & a team of 3 workers did the job, where Horacio, was the foreman.

The quality of the communication with everyone was excellent, especially when trying to figure out the best way to fix the challenges encountered. I appreciate they respect my opinion.

Among the challenges the team had to deal with: moved around a small space to access their equipment in-out the backyard, solving the drainage issues (water coming from the next door neighbor yard sump pump pond, that flood my yard & for 25+ years, damaging the garage cement floor & driveway).
Because I lived in a hill, they also built a long retain wall (that in some areas was almost 5 feet tall).
They also deal with cold weather, and they need to protect the topsoil to avoid it froze in order to continue working the next day.

Since yesterday, 3-4-2025, it has been raining a lot in the southeast of Milwaukee. The backyard (5 feet deep gravel) drainage swale is doing its job with the flood issues !!!

Everything is well done with aesthetics & functionality.

I am delighted with their services and the reasonable price. I will contact this team for further projects, next time in the area of landscaping

We contacted Trees on the Move to save a tree in our yard that would’ve been lost due to moving our septic system. Ernesto did a fabulous job communicating with us and completing the work on a strict timeline! Outstanding job!

Everything you need to work in your garden or house plants is in that area. There's so many things inside of this store that amazed me! Treat yourself and go to this store! You won't be disappointed!
