I spent the day today with Karl and Brian from Tree Bros from Oostburg, watching and learning about cutting down large trees.

The 55-year-old shade tree in my back yard had to go. The emerald ash borer had had its way with it and trees with no leaves aren’t much for shade. I’d always supposed that all it took to cut down a tree was a sharp saw and some brute force. I was mistaken.

Karl spent most of the morning up in my ash tree with his spiked boots, safety ropes and hand-held chainsaw. He brought down my tree in sections with the help of Brian who guided the branches’ fall with orchestrated precision. The artistry of their work looked like ballet to the untrained observer. The two kept in constant communication with their radio headsets so their work was a coordinated team effort.

I was impressed with their skill and precision. They planned how and where to cut each branch and knew where each log would fall. Karl used a pully system, anchoring the limbs he was cutting to the tree below so Brian could guide the limb down to a soft, precise landing on the ground below.

They meticulously raked up and blew my driveway clean before they left.
Clearly these smart men are experts in the field of downing trees and had studied their craft from the best.

You can choose whoever you want to cut down your trees. I will always choose Tree Bros.

I got a reasonable quote to remove a very large dead tree which was threatening my home. The 3 man crew had top notch skills and outstanding aerial equipment. I will use them again.

Karl and Brian of Tree Bros dismantled my large birch tree that was in a difficult location. The tree was very close to the property line and about 12 feet from my neighbor's home. Chainlink fence, power-lines, and beautiful blooming rhododendron bushes below.The tree had to be climbed. My yard was not accessible to hauling equipment or crane. All material had to be hand-powered out of the yard. Such teamwork! A beautiful job of removal. They were methodical, conscientious, and safety conscious. It was a pleasure to watch them at work. In addition, Ben who surveyed the job at time of estimate communicated well and kept me informed. I highly recommend Tree Bros LLC for their professionalism and skill.

I will definitely be using Tree Brothers again in the future and 💯 referring friends and family to them. They were easy to work with, punctual, professional, friendly, and did an amazing job cleaning up the yard after taking down a huge basswood leaning towards the house.

Tree Bros did a great job removing a large dead limb from our huge oak tree in a very tight space. They took it down bit by bit to protect surrounding trees and our house. They were friendly and very professional and meticulous with the pruning and clean up.

Today, February 26, 2021, the Tree Bros. arrived to remove a very large dead ash tree from our yard. It had a large crack down the middle and one side was rather shaky. It was an amazing sight to see them tie straps around the two halves of the tree to make sure it held together and use rigging ropes to lower the large branches. Because the bucket truck could not be used, one man climbed the tree and carefully cut off the branches. They were done in less than 8 hours and cleaned up the yard beautifully. I highly recommend them for any tree removal!

Professional and prompt. Met shortly after contacting them for LOTS of dead ash. Many large. A quote was sent quickly and removal scheduled. Tree Bros just completed removing a large ash tree on our lot line. They were right on time, early even as promised on removal day. They were very friendly, took our tree down and cleaned up beautifully. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend them with 5 stars. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Tree Bros removed a large locust tree limb over-hanging our neighbor's house by using a bucket truck/lift to remove the limb in small pieces, while avoiding her electric and phone lines. It was a tricky job, and they never touched her roof. They also removed another tree and some over grown arborvitae bushes, cleaned dead wood out of our locust tree, and then cleaned and removed all debris. All this was done at a very reasonable cost and using arborist "best practice" tecniques to keep the tree healthy - for about half of another tree trimmer's estimate. Thanks guys!
