We hired CG Services to install a French drain after burring a few downspouts under a newly installed patio and walks and to fill and grade the yard around the new concrete. We also had them level and prepare a spot for a pool to be installed in spring. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and did a great job answering all of our questions as well as letting us know our options.

Tyler and his crew preformed the work flawlessly, The ground was a little soft from all the rain so the heavy equipment caused some additional damage to the lawn. The team acknowledged this and took the extra steps to repair the lawn back its like new condition. If I am being honest they brought the yard back to a better condition than before they got here.

We could not be more pleased with the entire process from start to finish and have already began talks about adding decorative landscaping next spring.

We couldn't be happier with the landscaping, the partnership with the owner Kevin, and the hard work from the team. We had a rather complicated layout for a new build lot that consisted of beds, play space, gravel for a deck and fire pit area, as well as general flattening, seeding of lawn areas. Kevin talked us through dormant seeding and we feel we have the best chance at a great first spring and summer in this new house because of his guidance. I'll be sure to update images once we have growth. We would highly recommend this company!!

At Farm 1849 we’ve had a number of projects Kevin and his team were able to help into support us on. Not only did they complete the project as quoted, but they Took a number of additional steps that weren’t even part of the job scope but the environment demanded of it.

With my home construction completed, my yard was in need of final grading and seeding. Kevin came out to the property multiple times prior to any work starting, and was extremely knowledgeable and receptive to my vision. Once the work started, it all came together quickly, and the quality was top notch. The grass has just started to come in, and I have no doubts that I will have a beautiful lawn in the spring. EXCEPTIONAL COMPANY! We have a HUGE yard and it was completely transformed. Project included excavating, boulder placement, tree removal, grass seed planted and mulch placement for the finishing touch. Kevin and Conrad were great to work with. The landscapers are very friendly, hard working and attentive to your needs. A special thank you to the excavator, Tyler Greene! His work with the large equipment was truly amazing. He saw a vision and shared it. So glad he did. His ideas were fantastic...he is a true artist! All in all, please do not hesitate with this company. Fast, thorough and reasonable! We recently had work done by CG services. We had a fire pit area and pergola area dug out leveled and landscaped. During the process if they had any questions or we had any it was quickly figured out. The workers took great care in squeezing in a tight space to get to our back yard. The next day they came back leveled, seeded and layed down barrier. From start to finish they did a great job. Can't wait to enjoy our new fire pit area.

We had new landscaping put in around our entire home. Professional Landscaping was willing to save/replant some of our plants and added many beautiful plants, shrubs, and yes. Our landscaping is colorful and very well done.

Edit: Very dishonest. I recently added a shed to my property. At that location, the concrete guys stumbled on old landscape brick edging. I paid Jeremy to remove these but he simply buried them under mulch. I always believed you could trust Oostburg businesses; Jeremy is evidence that you cannot. How much was I overcharged for that?
Buyer beware. I had Jeremy, who had recently acquired professional landscaping from Jim Onik, a few years ago. I waited this long to put this review out just so no one says I'm bitter. My landscaping was designed by Jim and was installed by Jeremy's crew. They did what I expected and that was to place landscape aspects as designed. However, twice Jeremy wanted to move plants around. I stopped him from placing a tree in a different spot but I didn't catch him from changing a shrub position. That was ok. I also want to now that the entire time Jeremy was here, he was bad mouthing the guy who sold him professional. That alone will make me kick you off my property. In other words, if he's Ball the hand that feeds him, what's he saying about us? I could live with the above stated but what really irked me was the bill. Jim charged me for plant and other elements and Jeremy, who had Ben hired by Jim, charged me for labor. Jim's bill came in at quote while Jeremy's did not. Jeremy charged me $1k over quote. When I tried to negotiate to split the difference, Jeremy replied that the bill was fair and honest and that I was to pay within 10 days (30 days is the norm). His statement caused me to look at the itemized bill closer and that's when I discovered he was charging me for live edging. That's a guy walking behind a machine that will cut an edge around a tree. That's labor which was already a general charge on the bill. I gruffly corrected the overcharge. Just watch your bill from professional. Greed kills businesses and so to does disregard for repeat business.
