Exceptional team in and out of the office. Office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and understanding of any problems I encounter with my in ground pool. Technicians are extremely helpful identifying and fixing problems. Highly recommend for anything pool related!

WARNING DONT USE THESE GUYS IF YOU NEED OR WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Ordered a hot tub with them. Took forever to get it no followup the entire 3 months we waited for it. Also 1st one was damaged with shipping company. Ended up taking over 3 months to get. The opener broke the 1st time we used it and have gotten run around with getting it working properly which its still broken. They have been miserable to work with and are very challenging to get on the phone. They have no issue with hounding us for the final payment but they cant seem to get our hot tub fully functional yet. I made a giant mistake using this company. WE have purchased a hot tub from Patio pleasures in the past and they were 5 STARS across the board. WARNING DONT USE THESE GUYS IF YOU NEED OR WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

We had Recreational Concepts inststall an inground pool in 2017. Although we had a problem with a leaking liner initially. They replaced it and built a beautiful trex deck around it and have been opening the pool every spring and closing every fall since . We would definitely work with them again.

I had my winter cover loosened in the last windstorm. They came and recovered the cover around the whole pool including the deck on a rainy day.
They did a wonderful job, and excellent service! Thank you for your service!

Recreational Concepts did an excellent job installing my inground pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire place. I would strongly recommend them for any of your projects. I have recommended them to numerous friends for projects and they have all had enjoyable experiences. It is also great having their store locally in Oregon when purchasing anything needed for our pool or hot tub. I look forward to using them for future projects.

Jeff and the entire team at Recreational Concepts were wonderful to work with. Like any large undertaking, installing an in-ground pool has inevitable bumps in the road. Jeff was always very calm and reasonable in working through any issues, and he remains available and responsive whenever we have questions. We are very pleased with our pool and the service that we continue to receive from Recreational Concepts. We have no regrets and highly recommend "Rec Con" for your needs, especially for first-time pool owners like us.

Had a 45x18 above ground pool provided & installed by recreational concepts. Have had nothing but problems with the pool since day 1. The pool is less than 6 years old & already on 2nd pump. 2nd heater . And 3rd salt cell generator. 2nd liner and the list goes on. Recreational concepts stood behind none of it. The only thing they were good at is collecting the 35K to do the job. Past that they have done nothing to rectify any of it. As previous reviews clearly show they are good at charging a price for everything they do when it should be under warranty but once your pool is built & water is in it good luck getting anything taken care of when something goes wrong. Some words of advice to anyone looking for pool work to be done or a pool to be built. Take your business elsewhere.. Recreational concepts is terrible!!

Great folks who stand behind their work. All companies have suffered with employee shortages, but RC seems to have managed this better than most - retaining good people who know what they're doing. They made some quick recommendations to balance chemistry (remove phosphates) that made our chemistry perfect through the summer. Glad they're in Oregon - just a couple of miles away from our house.

We had Recreational Concepts build our inground pool in Spring of 2012. We have been very happy with it!! When we do need service, they try their best to get there as soon as they can, sometimes even after hours! I would recommend them for sure, and have to for a few friends who also had their pools put in by them.

We purchase a swim spa for our lake house in Wisconsin. They designed the landscaping and sunk the spa into our deck that they built. We also purchased a water trampoline and other toys from them. We liked it so much we bought another spa and hot tub for our home in Barrington, IL from them. They did an amazing job on both projects.

The staff are knowledgeable & helpful. We did not purchase our hot tub from Recreational Concepts (wish we had!), however they are amazing to work through water chemistry issues and recommending products. Highly recommend

Recreational Concepts put in our pool three years ago. They were absolute pros from start to finish. Everything was taken care of in a very timely manner and the yard was left perfectly clean. If we ever have any questions regarding our pool, they are always answered right away. The best part is that they come to open and close our pool every spring and fall which is a wonderful service. We can't wait for summer to come this year to enjoy another year with our pool !

Recreational concepts put in our pool 4 years ago. Not only did they do an excellent job with the pool but their customer service has also been excellent. When I've managed to screw up my pool, Jeremy has been there to help me. Calling me back off hours and texting me with troubleshooting tips. The office people have been very helpful too, replacing parts under warranty was hassle free. Jeff was also great to work with during the design/construction phase. If you're thinking of putting a pool, don't hesitate to hire Recreational Concepts. They are a top notch company to work with!!!

You feel like you have to beg to get their business. We’re a condo association and we’ve had them do work the past two years and have 8 more years of work needed based on staggered deck replacement. It took 3 messages over a weeks time before I received a return call. I was then promised a bid by a certain time frame and that did not happen. I did two followup emails and the president of the association also tried reaching out and we still have heard nothing! Time to find a new contractor given we will be working with the contractor for the next several years.

Rec Concepts helped us choose and design our pool and surrounds. We were very happy with the responsiveness to our questions. The construction of the pool was done to a high standard and on schedule when they started.. We also use Rec Concepts for our pool opening and closing and couldn't be happier.

I believe my pool was the most challenging one for Rec Con to build. We have major ground water issues here and water kept coming in and undoing so much work. I was ready to just say fill it back in. Long story short, it's 8 years later and my "miracle pool" is still amazing. I also love the location of the store as well as the friendliness of the staff. The chemicals they have are the BEST and make pool maintenance so easy. If you're thinking about investing in a pool, give these guys a call!

We chose to work with Recreational Concepts because of their proximity to our home and historical knowledge of our pool. But what will make us change companies is the consistent lack of communication of when they will be onsite and their invoicing practices. We recently (Feb 2024) received invoices for work completed in 2021 - how is this a way to run your business and allow people to budget appropriately. Mind you this was not an invoice that we had received previously, this was the initial invoice.

Filter pump noisy like a bearing failing. Requested pump replacement and requested specific pump. Was told I didn’t need that high of a horse power pump. Was told which would be the best for our application and it was even less expensive. They were also able to get this installed in two days for us. The installer did a great professional job and explained programming and money savings due to the variable speed pump.

They are great! Very competitive price-wise, with customer service that is outstanding and blows everyone else in the area away. We purchased a used hot tub, and it was a wonderful experience. When we ran into some small issues with balancing chemicals and hookup, Heather and the whole team at Recreational Concepts was there to help and resolve the issue. And the whole time, they were incredibly patient with someone new to hot tubs. Highly recommend.

I would avoid this company at all costs! I personally did not have them do work for me, but one of my customers/friends had them put in an in ground pool for them several years ago. This family is some of the nicest, most giving people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and they have gone through tremendous loss and hardship. The kind of people that would give their last dime to help someone in need. They have had nothing but problems with the pool from the get go. RC was months late starting the project, and once it was finished, the problems continued. The pool is leaking water from underneath, and from what I understand, one of the filter pipes under the pool is broken. RC keeps giving them the run around, and will NOT stand by their work. I HIGHLY URGE ANYONE THINKING ABOUT HIRING THEM TO DO WORK FOR THEM TO RECONSIDER!! There are numerous other reputable companies out there that would be happy to do the work, and stand behind it. I only hope that RC will do the right thing, and stand behind their work in the future

We had to do a lot of landscape work for our installation. One rock wall was halfway done and they didn't think it was quite right so the took it down and started over! It had to be done right!! I also take a water sample in every week for analysis and assistance it what needs to be done. They are always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.
