My husband and I decided it was time to move our laundry room to another location in our home. We found out about Golden Gate through social media and had him come out to give us a quote. We hired him on the spot. He was super communicative and was very accommodating to our schedule. We are extremely please with the quality of service and the price. Very fair and does an amazing job. We will definitely be hiring him again for future electrical needs.

Good experience: prompt and responsive service at a fair price. Supply disruptions caused by COVID made my project challenging. Scott stayed in close touch throughout, and made an extra effort to complete the job quickly once parts became available. Can recommend without hesitation.

I have worked with a lot of company’s before but Scott was actually one of the best electricians I’ve ever work with. I had an inspection because I am selling my house and he was very patient with my realistate agent who was very vague in her demands to get my house up to code. I’m sure there would of been so much more work that he could of done but he only fixed what was needed to be fixed and his prices are great. I would hire him back in a heartbeat.

Scott came out to install a ground wire in our master bathroom to please the purchase agreement we have in place before we finalize the sale of our townhome this week. I am overall very pleased with our service - great communication, knowledgeable and efficient. Would highly recommend.

Mitch and Sam were awesome! They came out the day after I called, and they were extremely helpful. We had two locations with double switches where the wiring was completely messed up (switches that controlled outlets, lights going on when they should have been off). Both areas were fixed in less than an hour, and the fee was quite reasonable. Golden Gate is definitely our go-to electrician from now on!

Scott responded immediately, was understanding when I had to reschedule the job at the last minute, promptly coordinated reschedule. He installed two light fixtures, rewiring the switches that were previously connected to outlets, and he did it quickly and cleaned all the mess. Would recommend him to anyone.

Golden Gate Electric was absolutely great to work with. Scott was incredibly professional and very knowledgable. We were finishing our basement and I had showed him what we were looking to have done. He then walked us through what he recommended and why. It was refreshing to have someone not just give you a bid but really show you why. He and his crew showed up on time and got to work immediately after confirming the plans. Once they were done, they did a walkthrough showing us how everything was wired and verified that it's how we wanted it. I can't say enough good things about them and we'll be using them again next time we need electrical work done.

We had Golden Gate put some new disk lights and dimmer switches in bedrooms and dining, plus a few additional outlets where we needed them. Scott and team were quick with doing a walkthrough and providing an estimate; provided good ideas and options, with rationale; and executed the job ahead of time and with professionalism. He also came back to resolve an issue we had. We highly recommend.

GGE has done a couple projects for us (hot tub hookup, EV charger to detached garage) and both experiences were excellent. Great communication, timely service, fair pricing. Professional in all aspects of how they do business. Would definitely recommend.

We had Scott and his crew come out to install an outlet for an EV charger. They were able to snake wire all the way from my basement into the garage. Install was quick and the work is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to use Scott and Golden Gate Electric again.

Scott was great! Him and his partner swapped out two light fixtures for me, including one in a two-story stairwell, and installed a fandelier. They were super fast and did a great job. He also had the lowest estimate I received. Will use again!

I've used Golden Gate on several occasions, and honestly I wouldn't use anyone else. Scott and his guys are impressive to say the least. It's not just the high quality workmanship, the attention to detail, the thoughtful consideration to me and my homes specific needs, but the price points are accurate and most importantly the schedule has always been met. I personally value my time and just don't have any to waste with reschedules and no shows. Golden Gate is a fresh reliable face in such a necessary field of work. Their hard work and consistency have earned my business over, and over again!!

Absolutely recommend! I was nervous as I had other companies I've worked with in the past that were not as good as this company, Golden Gate Electric was top tier quality and service. I went 6 years without power to my dishwasher which is now working again. Very responsive for scheduling, very informative on their prices. Nothing hidden, I felt valued and informed. On the scheduled day they showed up before the scheduled time which they were prepared for wearing the proper personal protection equipment if needed or requested for Covid and had shoe protectors and mindful of the home surroundings. Upon arrival we discussed a overview of the requested work and they immediately got to the work. In under 45 minutes too!!! They were kind and courteous and respectful. I'll need additional electrical work to be done in the future such as adding a junction box to the basement, electrical panel upgrade and full electrical upgrade, so when I am ready to start those projects I know who I'm calling....Golden Gate Electric!!!! Golden Gate Electric did a fantastic job updating the wiring in my kitchen adding canister lights and hanging some new light fixtures. We are very pleased with the quality of their work. Knowledgeable, friendly and reliable!

Highly recommend Scott at Golden State Electricity. I hired Scott to install new ceiling fan for a bedroom which had no existing light fixture. Great communication throughout the whole process. Scott and his team did a fantastic job installing a high voltage hot tub circuit to our home. I would highly recommend Golden Gate Electric! He developed a great plan to route wiring from one end of the house to the other considering our wishes to minimize holes in the walls. He completed a high quality install, without delay, great communication, to code, and cleaned up after. Can’t ask for anything more!

He was very professional and explained the work he had done ( i know nothing about electricity) so that was very helpful. I even went ahead and scheduled a whole house inspection.
