We had wonderful service. He comes when he says he will and even mowed once in the rain. Highly recommend utilizing for regular mowing and weed and feed. He knows lawns!

We haven't had the privilege of using them yet but one of their drivers stopped for my daughter’s lemonade stand, which — to me — shows their true character and kindness. 😊

Great trees, great service at a great price.

I called to get an estimate for some work at my house and a guy named John was so rude. He called back 10 days after I left a message and acted like I was inconveniencing him. Don’t do work with this guy

I am rating 1 star because Everytime they cut at my place of business the guy who rides around on the large mower just runs over anything. Today we saw him run over a t-shirt/rag and shred it to bits along with paper and a McDonalds plastic cup. It's very unprofessional and leaves the lawn looking littered.

Last late fall Terra Tec came and started throwing fertilizer into the snow. I asked what they were doing. They said that they had to finish the last fertilization on the contract. I asked what good did it do to throw the fertilizer into the snow, and the house is on a hill, the fertilizer would be washed into the ditch. They said that they had it in the contract, and they had to do it. I told their management that I would not pay for it, but they forced a bill on me anyway. It was an outrageous experience. I could not believe that a company would do such thing to a customer.

I bought a new house that terra tec had landscaped. One of the trees was dead when I purchased the house. Originally they took responsibility, it took a year but they finally replaced the tree. 30 days later it was obviously dead. Sent pics and texts to owner/operator John- but he has refused to replace the tree or offer any other solutions. Do not hire this company. They don’t care about their reputation and they are happy to give you dead plants/trees.

We contracted with Terra Tec. They did some good work, but be warned, overall there is a huge lack of quality and project management with this company. I can share details if you need them, but you shouldn't.

Edit: Terra Tec did not meet their contract with us. We had rocks that were never removed, they did not "amend" the planting beds so they were full of rocks and clay soil; nothing is growing well. The grading had to get fixed for a cost of $15,000. The tinted driveway was supposed to be sealed and it was not, so the color is faded over half the driveway. And finally, they are not honoring the warranty on the trees and plants saying it was an act of god that they died. No, it was that they did a horrible job preparing the soil for the trees. You don't get 4 dead trees in a row if you know what you are doing.

Do not even consider this company, there are so many more out there that are reputable. Use MJS or Landworks out of Sussex, both great options.

I have worked with Terra tec for years and have come to rely on their knowledge and experience. I’m very particular about my landscaping and particularly trees that we planted when I first bought my home. There is no one that I trust more. Paul and Dustin really know their stuff! Dustin just did an excellent job pruning some of my favorite trees.

John and his team did a great job on the landscaping for our new home! He worked with us to develop a plan that was within our budget and exceeded our expectations.

We went through two other landscape companies before switching to Terra Tec for our condo association yards. John and his crews stepped up and fixed many previous issues, actually show up (hear that other 'scapers?), and are doing fantastic work. I've never seen him be unprofessional, maybe the other reviewers here have thin-skin is all - don't let crusty boomers living in the past sway your opinion, they'll all be gone soon enough. We plan on keeping Terra Tec around here for a long time.
