I am very pleased with the tree removal I had done with Ideal Tree Service. The job was timely and neat. I feel that the cost of the service was very reasonable based on the size of the tree (and this included stump removal as well!) What a difference the space is now with my huge eyesore of a tree gone!!! Thank you Chris and team!!!!

After a huge snowfall I needed help removing a tree that was in a dangerous spot. Ideal Tree Service was able to come out quickly, gave a great estimate and completed the job in a really timely manner. I was impressed with the quality of the job and really happy with the price. I would definitely recommend!

I had Ideal remove a large tree here at Northern Ozaukee School District and they did a fantastic job in every way. Great communication, the guys worked in an efficient and safe manner and left the jobsite clean. Chris also gave us a great price being a local school district. They come highly recommended!

We have used Ideal Tree Service multiple times. They are good communicators and hard workers. They have great equipment to help them be very efficient and they clean up extremely well before they leave. They respect the property and the job and have knowledge and a passion for what they do.
I never feel a need to be here to keep an eye on the job-they are very trustworthy and if there is a question I would get a text or call from them. I HIGHLY recommend Chris and his crew.

We needed a large tree in the front of our house removed and Ideal Tree Service was an excellent choice. They took great care with the removing the many large limbs that were hanging over the house. You couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you!

I had a tree fall onto a city tree and needed a service to come remove it. I opted to get quotes for other dead trees I needed removed at the same time. Chris and his team came out within two days to remove the precarious tree and returned to do the rest. Most of the trees were at the top of a 100 year old retaining wall.

Ideal coordinated with the electric company and the city as needed for my project. They were on time, polite, and very helpful. They communicated what they would need to do to get their machine in for each of the trees (trimming of other trees etc).

When the work was complete both days you wouldn't even have known they had been there. Everything was cleaned up beautifully, including some deadfall I hadn't gotten to yet.

Great job! Fantastic integrity and I would go with them in a heartbeat every time.

We have been getting our firewood delivered from Ideal Tree service, LLC (Chris Unger). His sons deliver it to our home and neatly stack it on our front porch (see photo). It saves us much effort as we are retired. The wood is a long burning hardwood and smells great. I highly recommend Ideal Tree Service for your firewood needs. Very courteous and highly professional.

Chris and his team showed up right after the rain. put plywood down. cut down 4 large trees. Verry professional and friendly I will definitely have Ideal tree service back for more work.

They were very quick with getting us into their schedule and the work was amazing! We had a very large tree that hadn’t ever been pruned and needed help, well the tree looks the healthiest ever now! The yard was left so clean you wouldn’t know how much work was done! Really great people to work with as well and very knowledgeable.

When a tree in the lot next to us needed to be removed, Ideal Tree was proactive with their communication. They were willing and able to work with my schedule and give an accurate timeline. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to and took all precautions to remove the tree without any risk to our property.

We used Ideal Tree Service to grind some stumps that we had. Their service was great so asked them to prune and lift the canopy on our tree in the front yard. To say that they left my driveway cleaner than when they arrived is an understatement. They even took a Christmas 🎄 tree and popped it through the shredder.

I highly recommend Ideal Tree Service. They took down a large dead spruce for us, and did almost no damage at all to the lawn. Their bucket lift has tracks and outriggers to distribute the weight, and the small skidder machine used to haul the wood is light and has turf tires. You can see the equipment on their web site. The crew was very professional and respectful of our property. They cleaned up better than I ever would have expected. I'm very happy with the job they did.

I had Chris and his team provide tree pruning and stump grinding on my property. Chris came to my residence to look at what I wanted done, then provided a quote on a very timely basis and then came to my property within 2 days of receiving his quote. I had a 75 ft tree cut and removed from my front yard. I called Ideal Tree Service for a quote. They were really prompt in returning my call. The price was really fair and we set up an immediate appointment. The owner and his crew were extremely professional. The cut was really difficult because of the size and it was mixed in close to other trees and the driveway. They cut, sawed up the branches and removed them. They ground up the stump. My yard was completely cleaned up by them when they were done, as if they were never there. I highly recommend and will use them again myself.

A large tree in my front yard was severely damaged by a storm (most of it fell in the street) and when I called Ideal, they came out immediately and gave us a very reasonable quote. The tree and stump were removed and the area cleaned up - all in a day. I highly recommend them.

I had three backyard trees that needed trimming and pruning, and I chose Ideal Tree Service for their reasonable pricing and their backyard bucket lift—no heavy truck driving across the lawn. Before work began, Chris walked me through my concerns and priorities, even using a laser pointer to confirm which branches would be removed.

The crew was impressive—using headsets to stay in sync, one climbed the smaller tree with a rope and pulley system while another used the lift on the taller tree. Afterward, they hauled away all the branches, hand-raked, and even used a leaf blower for a spotless final cleanup. My lawn was left looking better than before.

I was very impressed with their teamwork, knowledge, and professionalism. My trees look beautiful, and I’ll definitely have Ideal back in 5–6 years for the next round of trimming.
