We had an appointment scheduled for months then at the last minute they cancel and don't even have the decency to give us another date just a we will let you know.Ive been in customer service 20 years and this company clearly doesn't know what good customer service is.

Can’t give more than one star as they never had the courtesy to give us an estimate. Why would you bother to make an appointment, stop and look at the work then ghost on us? In their defense, it does seem to be a characteristic of tree care people.

I had contacted Tangeman Tree Care about taking a look at a tree shortly after moving to our new house. He and another arborist took a look and recommended cabling the tree and agreed to complete it. This was in November 2020. They still hadn’t gotten around to doing any of the work by August 2021 and by that time a storm took out the tree. Contacted him to let him know not to bother and he responded with “I checked on the tree a couple weeks ago [before the big storms hit] and it doesn’t look healthy.” Said he had planned on letting me know but never did. I highly recommend going with any other tree service based on our experience. Very little contact, poor communication, and simply not the kind of experience you want to have where someone tells you: by the way your tree doesn’t look healthy and I was going to tell you before it came down but didn’t get around to it.

After using this service once, I called again to get an estimate. Was never emailed the estimate or told there would be an issue but on calling Dean was told that tree removal is now only done if the tree is causing harm (like foundation issues). Hard enough to find tree removal in Stoughton (most services say to call Tangeman) apparently if you want a tree removed it will be easier to start your own service.
