The services of Western Landscape are very professional. The first meeting was a visit to my site to discuss options. The second visit was to go over the options I chose with a virtual projection of the finished project. I was able to make alterations at that time.
The work was completed last October by a team of experienced landscapers. I had a couple little issues in the spring that was addressed in a timely way. I would recommend their service.

Thorough and on time job. Competitively priced. They removed a tree and half dozen other plants in a bed. They removed the gravel and weed screens put top soil and sod down. The edges of the sod area were a little uneven and could have been done better but otherwise it was good

Leo and his partner Augustine just left my house. They worked all day restoring a wood retaining wall that no other contractor in the area would touch. Their work was professional, neat and workmanlike. You could not ask for a nicer crew. Kudos!

We had such a great experience with Western Landscape! It was nice to have Brigid and Jim help us figure out the proper services that were needed. Emily, Andy and Nick were fantastic doing the landscaping and explaining how to maintain the yard. Western Landscape exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them!

The crew at Western was very professional and the project turned out GREAT. We had just finished a major renovation and addition to our home and 1/2 of our yard was completely torn up and unsuitable to even plant grass seed. Western came and installed a hardscape (paver patio), regraded the back yard, applied top dressing, buried downspouts, installed garden/rock beds with edging, and installed sod. Their onsite and office team was very easy to communicate with. Their original bid was very detailed with itemization of products and labor. We had several requests as the project was underway and they accommodated all of the change orders at our request. Highly recommend their team for landscaping or lawn maintenance, we had been long standing (~10 years) customers of their lawn mowing service so we’re happy to use them for our landscaping needs after the build. A+++

I live Stonebridge Condominiums in Madison Wisconsin, we recently brought on Western Landscape as a snow removal service because of the quality of their proposal. As a member of the board we were really impressed with not only the level of detail but also what they offered.
The first snowfall of the year was a little shaky, with some issues with damages. However, Western Landscape brought them to our attention right away. I feel this increases the level of professionalism of their company.
I have also never seen our spaces cleared as well as they have been with Western. I am happy we are paying what we are for this service.

The project foreman, Dave, and the two crew, Dave and Gabriel, were amazing. They showed up promptly every morning, worked very hard throughout the day, were respectful and courteous, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. The work that they did replacing, my retaining wall was outstanding and I spend time each day admiring the work. I would highly recommend Wen landscaping to anyone considering a big project.

I pretty much ignored our yard and landscape this summer so it was in pretty bad shape. So we hired Western. The crew did a fall cleanup and the property looks good as new - leaves gone, beds weeded, all of it hauled away. Thanks to them we will have a nice fresh start come spring. Very professional and the work was done with high quality. I will likely hire them again sometime.

Tom's team did wonderful work resurfacing my gravel driveway - very courteous and efficient. The project was able to start sooner than expected and finished quickly & within budget. Communication was timely and thorough. It's always refreshing to work with a group who can meet or exceed expectations.

Dave and team did an amazing job at our home! We had quite a bit of work done on multiple areas of our property and the team did great work! We had a minor miscommunication but Western’s team was all over it. Responsive, respectful and made sure to get everything done right, immediately.

I am very pleased with the result of Zion, Ethan and Maycol’s work. They were timely and thorough. All were communicative and efficient with the yard cleanup. Thankfully I am now ready for the upcoming spring season with the more laborious part already complete.

I live at Stonebridge Condominiums in Madison Wisconsin and I believe this company was hired to do our snow removal here but if I am incorrect please let me know and I will remove this review and find out who is removing the snow. I have lived here for over 16 years and never had a snow removal company use plows on our sidewalks or near garage aprons because previously every snow removal company used snow blowers in these areas to prevent surface damage so Owners wouldn't have to pay for any damages thru increased Condominium dues or special assessments.I and other Residents have pictures of massive damage being done to our sidewalk grates, sidewalk, and speed bumps as these are ALL being completely ripped out by your plows and you are not using snow blowers at all that I see and the Owners were informed by the Stonebridge Condominium Board you use brine but I see salt pellets upon inspection so I am not sure if you are using both because brine is a liquid.

According to our Board of Directors we are paying an additional $20,000.00 for this service and the garage aprons have always been cleared of snow for the last 16 years I have lived here but I edited this because you didn't clear them again today December 10th, 2025 and added pictures of some damage.

Please note that Owners of the Association had to lobby profusely to get the speed bumps placed as it was a huge safety concern due to numerous vehicles speeding at least 40 miles per hour or more when its a posted 10 miles per hour speed limit around the campus.

In fact when I had a Home Depot garage door contractor replace my opener during the day mind you he was almost hit by a speeding reckless driver and since he had a concealed carry permit he informed me he was ready to shoot at the vehicle as I reported this incident to the Board.

I am now witnessing vehicles again driving reckless and speeding at enormous rates through the Independence Lane side creating health and safety issues and many are in danger of property damage, body/psychological injury, and or death.

I am happy to know you have Insurance because if anything or anyone is damaged/injured or killed there will be accountability.

Owners are paying $20,000.00 more??

I am expecting that Western will respond to this review stating they are going to repair any damage as they should have Insurance that covers this.

From the office staff through the designers, installers, and project managers, you'll work with conscientious, knowledgeable, skillful and customer-oriented pros! They welcomed my ideas and questions, and communicated with me throughout the process. Timothy, Talah, Luke and Evan were prompt, courteous and often went the extra mile (including follow-up visits) to ensure the project was done right. Their landscaping and hardscaping work is beautiful and receives "wows" from all who visit. Thank you!

Our project was completed way beyond expectation. Exiquio, Maycoll and Elmer did ALL of the work by hand. Moving boulders, rock and soil as major equipment could not be used in our tight space. The neighbor's property was untouched by their careful work on our side space and our project was exactly what we wanted! They did all of this in one day. Wonderful workers and company. We would highly recommend them and Western Landscape to any thinking about a Landscape project.

Wonderful service to work with. Fit us in right away and the work they did was amazing. Would highly recommend them and will be using them again for seasonal touchups.
