Tree reviews in Watertown, Wisconsin

The crew was in and out. They make tree removal easy.

The crew was friendly, efficient and fast. Great job, lowest price for the job.

Please have your people not back up in people's driveways if they don't do work there. We have damaged cement from trucks turning around in my driveway. We stopped Rocky's heavy truck last time. We have had backups scrape our cement and do damage.

Rocky's removed a large maple in the city of Oconomowoc with electrical service for the house hanging right through the tree and did it without a hitch, quickly and at a really great price. Complete clean up after the job with no signs of work being done, much less any kind of mess left behind.

I live in The Village of Oconomowoc Lake and have used Rocky’s Tree Service for many years. Most recently they took down a 100+ year old catalpa tree that was near my garage and was becoming a hazard due to the holes in the trunk. In less than 10 hours they safely removed all signs of the huge tree. They are efficient, responsive and reasonable. They exceed my expectations and would highly recommend them to any one needing tree cleanup and/removal.

We had a dead Ash tree that needed to be removed. Jim brought in a good crew and took it down. He even took a little extra time to pull down some dead limbs on another tree. There are a few ruts in the yard from the trucks and fallen limbs, but nothing I’m upset about. We appreciate their good work and reasonable pricing.

Jim and his crew removed some trees for our neighbors a couple years ago. They were kind and professional and so respectful of both the neighbor’s property and ours. We remembered what a great job they did, so we called them recently to do some of our trees. Once again, another great job and always professional and kind. I also appreciated how flexible he was and willing to work with us on what needed done to help us stay within our budget. Highly recommend!

We recently purchased a home that had been severely overgrown. I had two companies come out to give me estimates on taking down a humongous 10 trunk silver maple, a large honey locust, a smaller oak tree, remove two mulberry bushes, thin out some over grown lilac bushes, trim up all other existing trees, chip/remove all brush, and finally, grind out any stumps. I knew we had a tall order and we were prepared to pay. When we received our estimate back from Rocky’s we were completely shocked…$6,000 less than the other guy!! I thought surely this is too good to be true, but based on other good reviews, we decided to go with them. I am SO happy we did!! They showed up for 4 days straight getting our property cleaned up. They were so friendly and kept us in the loop about what the plan was each day. During the removal of the large silver maple that hung directly over the deck, the deck railing was damaged (which was almost inevitable considering the proximity of the tree to the deck). Jim, the owner, was honest about what happened and in less than 5 days he had hired someone to have my railing repaired good as new, completely covered by him. I cannot say enough good things about Rocky’s. We will use them for all future tree services and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know.

Unbelievable Service! Don't find many people like Zach in this world anymore! Highly recommend him and his company!

Great work taking down a broken hickory. They were very careful to keep nearby trees in good shape and cleaned up better than before they arrived! Will contact them for future jobs and suggest to friends and neighbors.

Firewood delivered right to my back yard. Fast, friendly service! Would recommend Rocky Top to anyone

Never in my 75 years have I had such a great professional, respectful, company to do it all according to my specifications and more. Thank you Rocky Top

What an amazing experience! We had a big clump of ash trees that have been dead for a few years. They were on our fence line, overhanging the neighbor's farm field. They were big-way too big for us to tackle and we did not want to drop them on the corn field. Zach was able to get them down on our side of the fence. He and his crew were kind and respectful of our property as they worked around snow storms and then mud season. Price was amazing and service astounding. thank you!!!

The crew at Rocky Top are professional in every aspect of every job they have done for me,even when I asked on a very short notice, I have used their services on 5 different occasions flawless every time, Rocky top is my first choice to get the job done right

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church proudly recommends Rocky Top Lawn & Tree Service of Watertown, WI!

From start to finish, our experience with Rocky Top was outstanding. When we reached out for a quote, they responded quickly, and their pricing was a perfect fit for our budget. Once scheduled, their team came out promptly to tackle our very overgrown arborvitae trees.

The job was not an easy one—these trees were located right next to our building, surrounded by stained glass windows and powerlines. Rocky Top handled the project with great care and professionalism, ensuring everything was done safely.

The cleanup was equally impressive. It was as if the trees had never been there—stumps were removed, holes filled with fresh dirt, and the area left ready for a fresh new beginning.

Thanks to their excellent work, we can now reimagine this space for the future. We are truly grateful for their service and highly recommend Rocky Top Lawn & Tree Service to anyone in need of expert, reliable tree care!

Had Rocky Top take down a big spruce in our front yard. Their prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent! In under 2 hours the tree was gone, stump was ground out and yard was cleaned up like the tree had never been there. Looks great. We'd definitely use Rocky Top again!

They cut off a bit more than they told me they would but they still did a great job. I can only assume it was because i told them we wanted to be able to get the camper in and out with ease. Thank you for getting us in fast and cleaning up after the job well done. I would totally call them again.

Great experience from start to finish with Ben and Gary! We needed a tree taken down and the stump ground out, and they did an awesome job at a very reasonable price. They accommodated us on their schedule quickly, and were professional, efficient, and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We know who we’ll go with in the future if we ever need tree services again! Highly recommend On a Limb Tree Service!

On A Limb Tree Service is fantastic! I had a birch tree near the house and a power line that had to come down and A very large silver Maple that needed to be trimmed up and fixed from the last time it was improperly trimmed. The team was very professional from start to finish. Communication was great, their pricing was fair, and they worked with me on how I wanted the work to be done. The Birch came down without issue as expected. The Maple took more care and the Gents walked me through their plan to trim the tree in a way that made it look great and preserve the heath of the tree. Once they were finished, they cleaned up the yard and left everything nice and clean. They also worked safely with all of the protective gear that they should have. A Bald Eagle carrying a fish even landed on a nearby tree to appreciate their work. I will definitely look to them for help in the future.

Ben is exceptional. You can tell that he takes tremendous pride in his business. From start to finish, every detail matters to him. He does things safely and with finesse. Also, just an all around good hearted and honest guy. Definitely recommending them to my friends and family!

Ben and Gary did an expert job removing 3 trees and trimming two others on my property. I was impressed with the efficient equipment they used that left no impact to my yard. They had it all down, chipped up, and yard cleaned in only a couple hours! Also very knowledgeable about trees and you couldn’t find two nicer guys. Great price too! I highly recommend them!
