I am highly disappointed that I received a call 5 minutes before my appointment time informing me that my appointment was cancelled because of an unavailable employee. I would have imagined the employee would have been in route prior to 5 minutes before my appointment time. I waited 5 weeks for the appointment, confirmed it a week in advance along with several follow up calls and emails, that were about price increases, just days before my appointment. The newly discussed price was also baffling because I was informed that the job would be 2x as much as what I discussed initially over the phone. If there was such a large discrepancy I would've imagined that it would have been discussed more than 3 days prior to my appointment. I was told the price difference was due to permit issues they had recently discovered with other clients. However I was given an additional estimate 3 days before my appointment over the phone, which I do not know why it could not be done 5 weeks ago, if there was such a difference. So after several calls and emails concerning price all the way up until the day before my estimate appointment an employee is mysteriously unable to make it 5 minutes before the start of my appointment. They left a message stating they would contact me to reschedule but I never got a callback. In conclusion, my experience with the company was highly unpleasant. I have definitely been given the run around.

I just bought a home and my kitchen sink was backing up. I made use of my home warranty and Borth-Wilson came out to fix the problem. Erik was so nice and helpful. He arrived on time, his work was very clean and everything seems to be working perfectly. I will defiantly keep their card (hopefully I will not need it) for future reference.

We own a historic mansion built in 1914. Any plumbing repairs to home that old always comes with amazing challenges. The Borth plumbing experts were able to perform miracles in correcting bathroom plumbing problems without having to destroy the tile flooring. What they did was really rocket science. I can't say enough about their expertise and understanding aand working with structures like ours that have older plumbing that's tough to replace and work with.
We were very fortunate to have them take on this massive project.

We used our Home Warranty yesterday to bring in Borth for backed up shower/toilet issues. Since I know nothing about plumbing, I am always curious if the people I hire are legitimate and truly know the trade. Since my home warranty contacted them, I figured they have to be good. No warranty wants to pay for a shady plumber that will only create future plumbing claims with the warranty. Between our personal home and rental properties, they have lived up to do the work well. They don't try to take short cuts but are up front about the work and appreciate that people aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg on getting the job done.

My shower and bath was 1970s original salmon speckled tile and in major need of a redo. Don was very knowledgeable in the types of tile available for the job and helped us pick out the best stone for the job. And the installer was really friendly, very tidy and left our bathroom looking brand new! Good things do take time, and it did take longer than we were expecting, but we could not be happier with the final product and get compliments on it all the time.

Excellent service! On time, clean, neat and professional. Confirmed quoted price before beginning work. Erik M. worked efficiently and was polite and professional. Office contact was very professional and welcomed pictures from me to facilitate estimating accurately. Called me back to confirm work, time and date. I will certainly call Borth-Wilson for future plumbing needs.

I had a burst water pipe to my outdoor hose that needed repair. Borth-Wilson was happy to come out at a time that was convenient for me. Their Customer Service was awesome & professional on the phone when I needed to schedule their visit. The repair man was on time, and worked quickly. He was friendly with great communication about what needed to be done. He also repaired another faucet for me and advised me on an easy fix in my shower so I could handle that myself! Happy to help.

Borth Wilson has been providing plumbing services for me for several years. They have provided such services as installing new toilets, sump pumps, connections for water/ice for my refrigerators, installing new shower rods and dealing with clogged drains. In summary, providing for plumbing services that most home owners might need. They are always prompt, knowledgeable and willing to help out in an emergency. Their staff is always professional and their work is always perfect. Their prices are reasonable.

I have waited several months after our bathroom remodel to offer a review, just to make sure everything was holding up, so here goes: These guys are the best. John, who oversaw the project, was incredibly skilled, courteous, and a super sweet guy. Mark, who did the tile work, was efficient, hard working, and a true artisan. All the workers who helped, the electrician, the painters, the guy hauling materials in and out, were professional, courteous, and managed to make this big job go smoothly and efficiently. I am so pleased that we chose this firm to do our remodel. Great job!

Erik arrived within an hour of my request to repair a plumbing leak and to install a new kitchen faucet. He was prompt, friendly, professional , kept a clean work area and completed the work quickly and without incident. Billing for work performed was reasonable.

Wonderful job!! In a time when finding contractors that are on time,organized, and keep you informed every step of the way, look no further. It all begins with Don the owner with his initial visit and qoute. Professional all the way and it reflects on his company and staff. The work crew is extremely clean and tidy every morning and night for setup and clean up. Very friendly and courteous would be the best way to describe his staff. Communication is an A+ and we all know how lacking that is in the contractor world. No problem with Borth-Wilson. And above all else beautiful work. Our tile setter Casey did a great job. I had a bidet toilet seat installed through Borth-Wilson. Barb gave me choices in different price ranges. She ordered the seat I chose and coordinated the installation with the electrician and the plumber, so it all went seamlessly. Working with Barb was great and made the project stress free! I would definitely use Borth-Wilson again.

I had a new toilet and both other toilets insides repaired. I was impressed with the professionalism of Eric, the Plummer. He was very knowledgeable, informative and even taught me how to use caulk. We have used Borth/Wilson for a couple years and find them very accommodating to our plumbing needs. I strongly recommend their services.

18 month old water heater installed by Borth-Wilson ignitor not working. The repair person was good, and quickly saw that a wire connection was not crimped on at all leading to intermittent connection. So the issue was either Borth-Wilson installation quality or the manufacturer's product quality. In either case I believe should not be charged. First scenario is just good customer service of any business and make poor work right. The second is also customer service where the product is defective and under-warranty. But even with that the person I talked to said that since I bought the house the transfer of ownership does not apply. I frankly have owned 6 houses with similar things and in all cases the installer could figure this out.. I gave them a chance to figure this out but response is give me your credit card.

Actually this is a wrong statement and conclusion. The wire was loose and not crimped on. So yes when the case it can work as long as there is a connection even if not totally tightened/crimped. Any vibration over time will loosen it or create intermittent connection and therefore work intermittently. The solution was to crimp the wire on. BTW I am an electrical engineer and understand this pretty well.

We enjoyed a very positive experience with Borth-Wilson. The workmanship was excellent, as was their communication through the two projects. Their approach of waiting for all materials to arrive before beginning work ensured the projects would proceed on time. Each week, we received a schedule for the coming week’s work, and they were true to their word throughout. In addition to adhering to the schedule, they also stuck to the budget. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had a small connecting warm water pipe that looked like it could burst any day, I was quoted $450-$600 after texting in some photos to their master plumber. Upon arrival our plumber, Dennis, knew exactly what had to be done and did a great job in less than an hour with little mess or any water issues. Then came the bill, $367. Many companies would look at the $450 as their minimum price and charge you $450+ as quoted, I am very impressed with their honesty & integrity. 5 Stars all day.

We have had Eric out a few times from Borth and Wilson. He is always knowledgeable and does a great job at fixing the issue and explaining the issue. Also, I never have an issue using my home warranty plan with Borth and Wilson! Would recommend them any day!

The most amazing, gorgeous bathroom remodel. Down to the studs, removed huge whirlpool tub and installed an extra large walk in shower. Also enlarged walk-in closet. From start to finish it was a fabulous experience and very cost effective compared to other bathroom remodeling companies.. Everything they quoted was spot on, accurate timeline, exceptional employee contractors.

We recently had Borth-Wilson completely remodel our master bathroom and we are so glad we chose them. The entire team is highly skilled and professional. The estimate they provided for the job was exactly what we paid. Everyone who worked on our project was friendly and respectful of our home. They cleaned up every day they were here and finished the project on time. We've had a lot of contractors do projects in our home and I can say without reservation that Borth-Wilson has been the best in terms of quality and craftsmanship. We highly recommend Don, Marah, Carlie and their whole team and will plan to hire them again for future projects.

I had a partial bathroom renovation. Don came by first to evaluate and make recommendations. What I really appreciated from him was his expertise and recognition of my desire to keep things as simple as possible (knowing that nothing is ever truly "simple" in any renovation). He understood what I wanted and provided a good quote with all the details. I met with the designer and picked out tile, fixtures etc. She also helped me with picking out paint even though I was doing the painting myself. Then came the big part - demo. There was an unexpected air vent to work around and everyone was really responsive in figuring out the best way to get my bathroom done without adding a lot of cost, time and still meeting my goals. I was really impressed with this and the way the team worked together. Also, a small note but important, they really cleaned up after themselves every day. Very meticulous. It is now 2 months later and I am very happy with the process and the outcome. In short, excellent work, excellent people, excellent company! Highly recommend.
