MACC came to my home to clean my white sofa sectional and might I say he did an exceptional job .. after a rough move my sectional was stained and dirty and thanks to them my sofa looks brand new again.. arrived on time very friendly and professional. Outstanding job on a carpet that I had chalked up to being toast. With 2 big daily-lake-loving dogs and 3 cats, we might as well open a zoo, but instead at some point we thought "you know, let's try a white-ish carpet in this huge living space." Well the years took their toll, Stanley Steamers took our money, and our carpet would smell clean for a week or 2 but the stains always remained. These were deep, undefeatable (or so I thought), nasty stains that were always bad but would come up with the humidity and just looked terrible.

Then we discovered Nick with Milwaukee Area Carpet Cleaning! We had a big party planned at our home and I wanted to at least have the carpets cleaned for arriving family and the general smell of the place, had seen some advertising on Facebook and thought I'd reach out to MACC and see if they could take the job on short notice, and they were more than happy to set a time within the week before the party! Nick arrived early, assessed the situation, and got to work. I don't know if this guy is a sorceror or some kind of carpet wizard or what, I mean I wasn't expecting miracles, but here he was performing them. He took the time, mixing crazy concoctions for different stains and going to work on them with a sort of chemical/machine precision, and when he was done the room smelled fantastic and the stains were nowhere to be found.

Highly recommend hiring this company for your carpet cleaning needs. I know we will be again - in probably 6 months time at this rate (also toddler, small baby - plz send help 😮😋).

Molly was very helpful, but the truck was not big enough to hold the rug. After a lot of shoving and adjusting we made it work.

Update: got my rug back in good shape and it looks pristine. Nick contacted me to apologize about a mixup that occurred with pickup.

Booked a carpet cleaning - first time did not show up and did not answer any phone calls - voicemail was full. Spoke to them the following day and reschedule against my better judgement. Did not arrive again on the rescheduled day.

They were very professional and friendly, and most importantly they did an excellent job. Would recommend to anyone who needs the job done right and wishes to support a locally owned business in the process. Shout out to both Jason and Ben, they were great.

Excellent company! They were able to get out the pet odors that have been lingering in our carpet for 6 years! They were able to treat the subfloor and replace the padding.

Nick did a fantastic job with cleaning out my air ducts. He was thorough and explained his techniques. He is flexible, efficient, and personable, and I can tell he's loyal to his clients. Would highly recommend!

My lower east side Milwaukee condominium recently experienced a significant water-damage event. If your property has incurred a similar event, then you know that the restoration industry is overrun with self-congratulatory firms -- whose "happy clients" try to persuade you to use their chosen company, rather than someone else.

Add MACC to that list.

On the afternoon of May 3, 2022, I emailed MACC -- with a clear, specific description of my unit's carpet cleaning needs. Someone who identified himself as MACC's owner replied, via email, saying that he was out of town at the moment -- but that he would reply again the following night, with a fuller response.

He never did.

On May 5, I spoke with the owner via cellphone -- asking if his delay was because he didn't want the job. He denied that -- and added that he might be available, in the coming days, to stop by my unit and have a look. In the interim, he said, it would help if I could email some photos of my carpeting -- apparently to help assess the scale of the job. He promised that, upon doing so, he would get back to me. Within two hours of that conversation, I emailed six photos of my carpeting -- eagerly awaiting his reply.

He never did.

On May 9, I called again. I left a message on his voicemail, asking -- again -- if he didn't want the job. The voicemail promised he'd get back to me as soon as he could.

He never did.

Milwaukee is full of companies -- in many industries, not just restoration -- that promise you the moon and the stars, and then deliver neither. Be advised that MACC is clearly among them.
