Wood Floor Installation reviews across the US

Steve is such a pleasant, hardworking man who came on time, stuck to his timeline, was so neat and did a fabulous job putting in new hardwood floors and matching them to two connecting floors! Thanks Steve for a great experience !

Renovation Hardwood Flooring should be everyone's go to flooring installation and/or hardwood flooring repair company! I expect better than perfection from people I hire. Renovation Hardwood Flooring delivered better than that at very competitive pricing. They were always early for the job & quite detail oriented in every facet of the work from prep to installation to cleanup! How refreshing to hire a company that takes pride in workmanship!

As a real estate investor I rely heavily on the expertise of Steve and his company. They have completed several projects for me and all have been exemplary. They have installed new floors and then refinshed existing wood work to match the new floor. They have also provided assistance in design and layout. Top notch professionals that are on time clean and beat. I highly recommend them

Renovation Hardwood gave me an amazing price on replacing my entire kitchen floor, then did such an incredible job, I’m thinking of having the entire house done! The house is over 100, and the kitchen was a mix of maple and oak. There was also an issue where boards were missing due to cabinet reconfiguration, and a rise in the floor near the chimney. RH total replacement pricing was about the same as another company’s sanding, refinishing and repairing of trouble spots... where the old floor would still be on its last legs.

I worked with Steve, who answered every question I had, and I had questions! I couldn’t believe the original floor had so little support, and he helped address sagging, insulation, stain matching, and long term floor maintenance. The SQUEAKING is GONE, and we couldn’t be happier.

Replacing the entire floor and using Renovation Hardwood Flooring are some of the better investment decisions I’ve made in my life. I look forward to the time when thin, stained and squeaky floors in other areas of our home will also be a thing of the past.

We really appreciated Renovation Hardwood Flooring. Steve Soukup is truly a craftsman. The flooring was a big part of our home renovation project and Steve was meticulous and completed the work. He was such a easy to work with. We highly recommend Renovation Hardwood Flooring. We will definitely use Renovation Hardwood Flooring for future projects. Thanks again.

Five stars is not enough! You will not find a harder working contractor or easier person to deal with. Steve is responsible, courteous, and respectful of both his customers and their property. He was on time and did all work as promised. He treats his customers fairly and works with them to make sure the job is done to their satisfaction. We could not possibly be any happier with the job he has done for us. The results far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Renovation Hardwood Flooring.

I had the hardwood in my whole home refinished. The work was done with care and pride. I am so pleased with the final results!

A++ experience. Steve is one of those "rare-to-find" professionals who comes when he says he's coming, quickly returns your calls and emails, gives good advice and free estimates, and does hardwood to perfection. Steve ripped up asbestos, interweaved new hardwood, sanded, and stained our home with absolutely 0 flaws. Floors look 10000% better and my contractor even requested Steve's info after taking look at his work. Without a doubt the only company you should be contacting.

Adam did a fantastic job. So happy with my wood floors, everything from a custom color to a awesome finish. 100% would recommend his work.

I called for some advice on finishing some hardwood stairs and railings. He spent over 30 minutes of his time talking over options and giving his advice so I could have the best possible outcome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you!

Adam did a fantastic job! He was straight forward with every detail for me. Did what he said he would. And his talent for wood floors is amazing! I love the work he did in my house.

Adam was very professional and did an amazing job sanding and refinishing our floors! They were in rough shape, he went above and beyond and made them look brand new. He was very friendly and was able to work with our budget. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again!!

I highly recommend Great Woods for your hardwood flooring needs. Adam is a very diligent, hard worker who is obviously passionate about what he does. 5 out of 5 easy.

I couldn't be happier with the work Great Woods Hardwood Flooring completed on my 100 year old hardwood floors (red oak, white oak and maple). Adam was timely, professional, never pressuring and delivered truly impeccable craftsmanship. He took the time to warn me about existing splits he suspected and clearly explained repair options with transparent hourly pricing. I appreciated his open and honest approach to his business and customers.

When I moved back in, even my neighbors commented on the transformation - they greeted me with excitement and couldn't stop admiring the beautiful woodwork. They mentioned seeing the lights on while I was away, noting how hard he worked throughout the project. That level of dedication really shows in the final result.

The floors are absolutely breathtaking - stunning to look at even amazing to walk on in socks. His passion for the craft shines through in every detail. I highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for high-quality hardwood floor restoration.

Did a great job installing our floor!! Fair price and great communication.

Absolutely in love with our hardwood floors. They are everything I wanted and more! This is the work of true professionals.

Fantastic job on our whole first floor! Thanks for all the tips on keeping the floor look great.

Steve and Adam were both great to work with. They were efficient and accurate in installing our floors. Communication on timelines and the process were very thorough. Would highly recommend using them in the future!

We had wood flooring installed in our dining room October 2020 and we were very happy with the install, however, the company was unresponsive with our concerns regarding the quality of the clean, buff, and coat of the existing maple and oak floors.

The original wood floors were left in worse condition than they were prior. When we messaged they responded with “I will be out to take a look”, but never came.

We reached out the day after the work was complete and three other times and each time the response was, “I will be out this week” with no follow up from the company.

We have large streaks and a blob of the applied coating across the existing wood floors. We were hoping for at least someone to come out and explain what our options would be. This company came highly recommended and we are extremely disappointed as we paid in full and did not receive any follow up regarding our concerns.

This is the second time we’ve had wood floors installed by this company. Both experiences were great! We’re so happy with our new floors. When people come over they say things like: “wow, this is better than I was expecting.” All of our questions were answered professionally and in a friendly manner. There’s clearly a lot experience and care that goes into the install.

I am a general contractor, specializing in new homes and remodeling. I have used Great Woods Hardwood Flooring for all my projects, and I’m very pleased with every aspect of their work. I would highly recommend them for any flooring projects you may have. They work with professionalism and integrity and offer competitive pricing.
