These guys did a great job helping me clean up after a storm hit us. They were responsive and professional. Easy to work with and showed up exactly when they said they would. We have other landscaping that needs to be done and we will definitely be calling them for the job!

Jeremy and his crew (Sergio, Mercutio, et al) did a fine job - exceeded expectations. They got to our job with a minimum of wait time, and finished promptly. Would definitely hire them again. Well done.

Cut-N-Up took great care of us and the work they did was above our expectations. My wife and I are very pleased with the finished project and will be using them again soon for some more work.

I live on a 2-acre estate lot in a large log home in Alabaster, and over the years the woods have encroached to the point where sunlight was no longer getting to the yard. Furthermore, the acreage looked small because so much of it was wooded, and my wife really wanted it to have an open feeling again.
I spent time researching landscapers in the Birmingham/Hoover/Helena/Alabaster area, and the one name that kept appearing was Jeremy from Cut-N-Up Lawncare & Landscape. After reading 95 reviews from various jobs, I called him up and had him come over.
When he arrived, I told him I had read all of his reviews, and was sufficiently confident that he could do any job I asked of him, and that it would be very pleasing in the end.
What I said, however, was "Jeremy - if this was YOUR property, and you would do anything you needed to please your wife, what would your vision for this property be?"
Jeremy took a look around, asked for 30 minutes to do some planning, and then called us back out. He proceeded to give us a vision of what the property could look like. It included bringing down some trees (including a big 120-foot red oak) and clearing out some undergrowth on the front and sides to open it up to let the sunlight back in. Then the discussion moved to the lawn, watering system, the walkway, stones, plant beds, flowers, etc. All the while my wife's smile was getting bigger and bigger.
Today Jeremy and his amazing team completed the job, and we are absolutely thrilled. Best decision we have made for this home, and I am looking forward to using his vision on the back half of the acreage.
Amazing job. His quoted price was exactly what we paid - no more, no less (that was a big deal to me - I asked for "no surprises", and he gave me his word and followed through.)
If you are in the position of letting Jeremy analyze your land and giving you a vision for it, you ought to give him a ring.

I would recommend being EXTREMELY clear with what you are asking for before letting them start. We hired this company to clean out and get rid of a bunch of overgrowth that had gotten out of control on one side of our house. He quoted me about $8k. This included a retaining wall, pallet of sod, and debris haul-off so let’s say about $3-4k for the actual clean out. All he did was mow it down and cover with it with pine straw and then tried to gaslight us into believing that was all we asked for. So, at best, we paid this company $3k to mow our lawn. It’s one month later now and it’s all growing back through the pine straw and I’m outside with a rake and a shovel trying to dig it up by hand.

Great company to work with, they installed a sprinkler system, leveled out yard, prepped for sod and laid the sod on roughly 3000 sqft. Jeremy was very professional and was able to point out ideas for our backyard as well as make sure every detail was accounted for to make sure we are able to enjoy our backyard with zero issues going forward. I would highly recommend him on any outdoor job.

These guys did a great job. They responded to my call quickly, came out to give me a quote the next day and gave me a good price for all the work done (removing bush stumps, installing pine straw and landscaping paper, trimming bushes/trees and spraying for weeds). Friendly crew and did a good job cleaning up also. Will be using them for any future landscaping needs.

This company is fantastic!!

They go above and beyond to make sure it’s the way you what it. They trim my bushes, edge, and cut the grass so fast, they even make sure the gates are closed for those ones with pets. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

I never have to worry about my lawn, because the Cut-N-Up crew keeps it well maintained all year round. Not only is my lawn well kept, any landscaping project I have gets taken care of and always looks great. They’ve been great to work with and are always friendly.

These guys were amazing! They made an appointment to come see the yard and showed on time, then have me a quote on the spot. Then they made another appointment for the actual service and the team showed up on time and just went above and beyond on cleaning up my yard. They did stuff that they didn't even need to do and my yard looks great! They pulled out all the weeds, trimmed bushes, cut down dead trees, weed whacked and mowed the grass, and raked up all the pinecones, pine needles, leaves, dead flowers, and sweet gum balls. Thank you guys!

Started this Summer. I had used different companies for cutting than spraying etc. results were not good. Having one company do it all is amazing and my yard looks great. No need to call and ask when they will come out because they always show up. Super happy and I highly recommend them!

Cut-N-Up performed hedge work, put down new mulch, removed bushes, and cleaned all debris. The work was done timely and looked great. They also did a great job removing and cleaning all left over debris. They were great and I would use again.
