Way to high on there price called about getting slag and wanted almost 500.00 for 25 tons where other local companies were 250 to 350 for 25 tons. I sure there service is good but I did not use them because there prices

Bought sand to go under the pool. Fair price with quick and easy loading. We dro e up, they loaded the trailer, paid, were pulling out within 10 min. Easy peasy

The lady @(Ashley) the office tried several times to schedule around weather conditions....finally got a small window of time; we spoke Tuesday afternoon and the guy (Joey) showed up early on Wednesday and stayed late....got the 24x48 pad done ...... all parties I worked with were knowledgeable and professional...everything that Joey said on job site was what happened. Great job 👏

I got exactly what I ordered and it works perfect. I was even able to get same-day delivery.

Quoted a price and was told that I would receive a call to confirm appt. I had to call back but was then given another price that was $350 more….customer service was all over the place. I hung up and order dirt and rock from GT Trucking.

Everything was great up until.....
Let's start with this, Bama Dirt is competitively priced and prompt. I did a culvert leading into my property and needed more than what was originally anticipated for the job. With that I had to have several loads back to back because a 25 ton truck was unavailable that day. With that I kept a pretty good mental note along with the operator on the heavy equipment doing the work. I also kept a tab on the expense and expected it to be under 1k with the math of four 5 ton loads. The driver Kevin was friendly and dropped each load exactly where it was needed. I also will add that he made my project a priority that day aswell.

Everything was great up until the fourth and final load. I went to pay the driver and expected the bill to be around $990.00 before taxes. The driver asked for $1250.00......in which I politely asked how because the math of 3 loads at $260.00 along with a additional load at $210.00 doesn't add to that amount. He responded that he believed he had dropped 5 loads. I contested that it was only 4 loads and asked my operator who had to turn off the equipment to respond and confirm that it was only 4 loads of rock. I will add that the operator was only someone I contracted to put in the culvert and benefited nothing to agree. Kevin stated his GPS shows him arriving 5 times at my address, he then called a female at Bama Dirt that stated he arrived 5 times per the gps. I paid Kevin $1250.00 for 20 tons of rock to avoid another gong back and fourth. I factored a loss with the 4 loads as I needed it that day and set a limit to the 4 loads as to stay under the 1k mark. Remember I was quoted only $750.00 for 25 tons and just handed $1250.00 for 5 tons less. This was the start of development on my land and already at only a couple feet going in im felt taken for.

I remember a camera I installed previously because of trespassers and went to that the very next day. It captured motion and confirmed Kevin and his truck dropped four loads. I called Bama Dirt to explain my findings in hopes that they acknowledged the error. I spoke to the same female who confirmed the GPS just the previous day. She was very adamant that it wasn't an error and that was that. I even mentioned the video several times and that made little difference to her. She was only intrested in the video only to get me off the phone and said that I could send it to her if I'd like.

Point here is everything was great until you need to pay or until you need to be recognized as a customer. This was the very start of my home building. The following week I've ordered 3 dump truck loads from your competition to continue onto my property and make a driveway the length of the 9 acres.

Bama Dirt stole the joy out of my very first step of building my home. I was planning to use them throughout the process and I will not. They did alot right however, the home run ending was at my expense.

These guys have great products with very fair prices, if you need bulk material they have it. It’s rare for me to go in and they don’t have something in stock. Also I recommend getting a super sack of what ever you may need if you need to move the bulk material fast and don’t have a dump trailer this saves soooo much time. It is a little extra but it’s worth it. Give them a try I don’t think you’ll be disappointed the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will continue doing business with these guys.

Great experience from inital phone call to delivery! Couldn't be more pleased with the customer service and quality of work. Kevin went above and beyond, and even though it was a small job, he didn't treat it like one! Will absolutely be calling on them again.

We were looking for some rock to put in front of our house in the flower bed. We stopped into Bama Dirt and a few other places. Bama Dirt was the most reasonably priced even with the delivery fee and the young man in the office was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we wanted, estimated times for delivery, prices, etc. My husband placed the order over the phone shortly after that and they delivered less than a week later. The men that dropped it off were very courteous about asking me exactly where to place the pile of rock and were careful when unloading so that it didn’t get all over the grass/driveway, and stayed in the tarp we had laid. Definitely would recommend them and use them in the future!

These guys are the best! I pre ordered and everything was ready when i pulled in the yard to pick up. Great customer service and the best prices around. I had a low tire and they brought out a compressor to air it up and keep me safe. Highly recommend

These guys are fantastic. They were professional, kind, and made sure everything was done like I wanted. They came and got me to clarify a few things before they proceeded and told me “I just want to make sure we do this how you want it. It’s YOUR yard, not ours.” After the job was done, they swept the walkways and even cleaned up dirt on the driveway that was there before they arrived.

At first I thought their price was high, but after getting quotes from FIVE other landscaping companies, they turned out to be a much better value than others.

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very nice. Unfortunately they were delayed a couple weeks due to all the rain we’ve had this spring, but otherwise, they arrived when they told me they would and completed the job in just a few hours. I would highly recommend Bama Dirt for any yard/land projects. I also hear their dirt/sand/gravel prices are some of the best around.
