Called Hemphill with a plumbing problem yesterday, and they dispatched two gentlemen to my house promptly. They helped me identify the issue with my grinder pump. I was pleased with their customer service & would recommend using them for any of your plumbing issues.

The tech was great and did. A good job. Very courteous and cleaned up after himself, my biggest complaint is the bill. I admit I did not ask the hourly charge up front . But $160 a hour is way more than I expected. He was at our home for 3 and a half hours and the labor charge was $560.

Hemphill came to my rescue today. They provided excellent service, came when they said they would, did a great job, and were very professional. I had made several other calls, only to be told they couldn’t get to me until tomorrow at overtime rates or next week at regular weeks. 5 days is a long time to wait with a lavatory that won’t flush & is overflowing. He also unclogged 2 slow draining showers for me. I was so happy and grateful for their help. Hunter Johnson is the one who made the service call. He is friendly, kind, well-mannered, and did a great job!

I had Hunter out to service the AC yesterday and he asked if I needed anything else. I did need some outside water faucets replaced. Trey showed up the same afternoon and got it done in no time at all. My family has had three AC systems installed over the years and a few other service needs met by Hemphill. I appreciate the excellent service, quality work, and fair prices. Thank you everyone at Hemphill!

I contacted Hemphill Services regarding an issue with what I thought was my hot water heater. I've spoken to many plumbers concerning this issue and no one provided the thorough and detailed information as Andrew. He is knowledgeable, experienced and easily communicates all of the issues you may be experiencing. I'd highly recommend Andrew and this company.

This is the 2nd time I have used Hemphill services for HVAC related issues. We moved since the last time I used them but they were 1st on my list to call when I needed service. This company definitely does not disappoint! They are prompt, have very fair pricing, knowledgeable and most of all, courteous. I hands down recommend Hemphill Services and will not hesitate to call them again!!

First time needing some help with plumbing in our house. I called the company and the phone and it was instantly answered politely and enthusiastically. Our only shower wouldn’t drain. He said they could get out by 3pm. I mean, I’m asking for same day service and that’s generally unrealistic to expect.
I explained that we had an entire day planned with my grandma, who’s in her 90’s, Mom, Dad, brother… the whole family. But I was needing to leave wayyy before 3. That I understood and have to keep calling around. The gentleman on the phone had me hold on a second, came back on, and told me someone would be there within the hour. Their service man was here in 30 minutes, if that!
He got the shower draining quickly!
He was very nice to my pups who have to meet everyone, which was just really what doing business with people is about!
He knew exactly what to do and had it draining within minutes. Cleaned up and headed out.
It saved our family day together. My shower draining is amazing. But us NOT missing the chance to be with family today is priceless.

I needed a new gas range installed where we previously had an electric range. Our countertop contractor recommended another local plumber to install the range, but they didn't show up and never called to reschedule. I've had good experience with Hemphill before and should've called them in the first place. Called at 9:30 and by 3:30 the range was installed which included running a new gas line to that corner of the house. Very happy with their work and the guys they sent out.

Had a wonderful experience! Everyone was professional, friendly, responsive and efficient. They worked really hard to figure out what was going on with our gas line and hooked up our new gas logs for us. We will definitely use Hemphill again. We tried to work with a chimney service in town and had a weeks long nightmare of a time getting them to call us back, schedule etc.. Not the case with these folks. Definitely recommend them!

Called Hemphill at 8:30 am on a Saturday in August because my air stopped working the night before. They were here and gone before lunch and my air is working great. I spoke with Andrew and he sent Michael out to get me back going. He did just that and did it at a very fair price. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. I won’t hesitate to call back in the future.

Our AC went out and we called multiple people to try to come fix it same day. We called Hemphill around 10-am and they said they could be there around 2-3pm but that it would be time and a half since it was a Sunday. No problem. Search over. We were more than willing to pay extra. 3pm comes and goes. At 4:30 we called again and the dispatcher said they would get someone else out. The manager called and said the technician had hurt his foot on a previous job and that he (the manager) forgot to call us. We are super understanding people so said it was no problem and he said he would call and get someone else out to us asap tonight and that he would call he soon. It's 8pm and no call and no fixed AC. We have a one year old and three year old and the heat is unbearable. We also had to miss our niece's baby dedication that started at 2pm because that's when we were originally quoted time wise.

We've been waiting all day. Could have called and gotten someone else. Could have went to our niece's baby dedication. Could have gotten a hotel for the night. But the communication was not there and for that we are extremely disappointed and frustrated. Had the communication been there we would have been understanding and accepting.

Usually services are pretty good with plumbing, but I have just experienced the most troubling service from this company for their AC services. I am out $1900 and my upstairs AC still isn't working!! I experienced an ongoing ordeal for over 4-5 weeks! I just wanted to make it known. So very disappointed... I had to call someone else to assist me. Please try another company if you have even somewhat of what they consider "an older unit!"

Hemphill Services was extremely quick to fix our unit that was having cooling issues. Andrew and Drew were true professionals that displayed exceptional customer service throughout the repair. Both representatives were timely, responsive to phone calls and trustworthy. I highly recommend Hemphill Services for any of your heating and cooling needs.

We’ve used them for years. Just had them completely gut and replace my entire system…including water heater. Of course a task like this isn’t cheap, but that’s not what it’s about for us. When we are going to spend that kind of money, we are more concerned about getting it done right. There is never any concern that they’re going to gouge us. They tell us what’s wrong and are honest about the cost to fix it. I have full confidence that the people they send to our home know what they’re doing.

We discovered a leaking water heater. Called Hemphill and they were quick to respond by sending their guys out the same day and did the water tank remove and install the next day. Service was quick, friendly and a quality repair for a good price! I would recommend them to anyone!

Called them out to fix a hot water heater. I gave them the error code and serial number but they still showed up and charged 155 dollars to diagnose the problem. Drew and Taylor told my wife it would be 550 dollars in labor to fix and there was more broken then I thought. Also they said the parts wouldn’t get in for 5 days…. I bought the part I originally told them needed replacement that night and fixed it in 45 minutes. They do not seem honest or reliable.

I want to thank Mark for coming right away on a Saturday morning to fix our air conditioning unit. He fixed the problem with five star customer service. These are the people to call for your air conditioning and heating needs. They called me back immediately and kept me updated with texts. Kudos to this company.!

First time customer and will certainly be a returning customer. They were at my residence under an hour from when I made my initital call and technicians Courtland/Seth knocked it out of the park. Good group of people and I appreciated their professionalism.

Was really glad with the service we received. Professional and prompt with good communication. Unfortunately was double billed once for sure and possibly twice, haven't looked into it and probably won't. The recent and biggest one that we verified was over 3k so it was serious enough to stop us in our tracks after being sure we paid it. Come to find out it was an error in their system.

Great company and service. Offered to repair an older system as opposed to pushing a new system. Highly recommend!

Had an A/C condensation pipe overflow that needed to be cleaned. Was not given a price and the worker came and took care of the issue. He was there fifteen minutes. The bill was $285. I did not know A/C and plumbing issues were more expensive than surgery. In their defense, they communicated with me, apologized for not disclosing the price to begin with, and said it was the fixed price for this repair - same price whether they stay 15 minutes or 1.5 hours. Enough of these fixed-price ripoffs - that is just a way to price gouge. Beyond disappointed in feeling ripped off at these outrageous prices.
