We asked Gardner to come in and fix our seawall, straighten out our irrigation system and repair damaged areas of our lawn destroyed by the cable company. We could not be happier with the results. They are quick to respond to quote requests, professional in the work performed, very tidy in regard to the worksite and fast in getting the work done. A call we will make again in the future when these types of services are needed.

Austin and his team did a great job of installing new plants and an irrigation system at Winterboro Community Church in Alpine. Everything was done in one week and it all looks great.

Austin from Gardner Landscaping did a great job designing and installing new landscaping in my backyard in June of 2025. His crew was prompt, courteous, and conscientious. My yard looked great upon completion of the project.

If I could give a negative star, I would!!! My experience: I contacted Richter Landscaping in September 2023. We were having an inground pool installed and we wanted landscaping after the pool installation. I thought we’d have PLENTY of time to design landscaping for ALL 4 sides of our home. I was told NUMEROUS times by Josh, the landscape designer, that he was working on it and he’d get it to me “next week”. After a month or so I finally get a drawing. It had NONE of the things we had discussed. I pointed this out and again was told he would get a design “in the next”. The pool was finished with additional concrete that affected the landscape. I asked Josh if he needed to see the property again. I was told by him he had recently visited and was aware of the changes. I received drawings and It was OBVIOUS he had NOT been the property. I pointed it out and was told he”meant” to go. We made an appointment to meet. We reviewed the changes and when he left he said, “ I should be able to get this to you next week, at the latest”. Several weeks go by and I text him asking for an update and if I needed to find someone else. I received this text from him.

“I have not had time to address the issues with this project. I would love to be able to tell you when I will be able to, but I cannot put together a defined date at this time. If you need to find someone else to do this project that better fits your timeline then that may be your best option. I apologize for setting up any unrealistic expectations and not communicating our timeline with you clearly during this process. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I would be happy to help! Hope you have a great week!”

This was today, in April. I contacted him in September 2023 - 7 MONTHS AGO! Please don’t waste your time with Richter Landscape!

Thank you to your lawn maintenance group. We had another firm doing it for two years but only had more weeds and brown spots. Now this year since we switched to Richter my lawn is greener and fuller. Those brown spots are gone and the grass is much healthier. Thank you Tucker and crew!

RLC has handled our weekly, monthly and annual lawn maintenance for over a decade. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are always professional and work really hard to provide a great product at a fair price. My wife and I wanted to add additional plants to our landscaping and wanted to address a drainage issue with underground drainage. I cannot say enough great things about Richter Landscaping! After several years of planning and different contractor interviews we selected John Richter and his team during COVID 2020. John came out with Project Leader Andrew and spent invaluable time going over the plans and gave us more great ideas before we started. They told us it should take 2 months but we were not in a hurry knowing how some other companies delivered on promises. The Foreman ADOLPHO was amazing with his expertise and knowledge being able to make small changes as we progressed. Even with Hurricane Zeta coming thru and knocking down a huge red oak which required very large crane to remove, Richter finished the project in 2 months. We had a challenging sloping terrain to deal with but as you see the pictures before and after it’s an amazing project. We get comments from friends who say, “this project is like something out of Southern Gardens!”

I called for a quote on some tree trimming. They came out on a Wednesday, made an offer which I accepted. They said they'd try to be out on the upcoming Saturday, but I might possibly have to wait until the next weekend. Never showed up on either date. I texted but got no response.

We had got 10 different tree cutters to come by and even solicited Alabama power since it was next to a powerline in inside a dog pen, no one would touch it until, now, # 11 ABC tree cutters came out and did a Wonderful job, I highly recommend ABC TREE & LANDSCAPING

I was very impressed by the job these gentlemen did. They worked in both my front and back yard, which was a real mess btw... After much work, the job was fine beyond my satisfaction. Great job!!! I'd definitely use them AGAIN.

Great communication and work! They cleared so much overgrowth and checked in with me to make sure we were on the same page. I highly recommend them.

ABC did a phenomenal job on our front and back yard. Literally had a jungle around the house and was able to get it all cleared in about 3 days (due to weather). I'll post better shots of the after but the yard is literally night and day difference!

Cynthia came to our house to go over the extensive work we need throughout the house, and she was wonderful. Intelligent, efficient, honest, and clearly professional. We haven’t had any work performed yet, but when they get started, if the jobs go as smoothly as Cynthia’s assessment, I am confident that we will be pleased.

Ms. Cynthia came out and we felt so relaxed in talking with. Since it is a new home we wanted some things taken care of before moving in and she assured us that our list was not a problem.
